Harold Landry is a 34 OLB...not a base 43 DE. But, he could fit in as a situational pass rusher. Passing downs we can put him out there and he wouldn't need to set the edge like Emmanuel Ogbah can do

He is not a good fit for our 43 and 33/35 is a little high to draft a situational prospect.

He's a luxury I agree. However, if we want to plug the edge, put a DT there. Getting to the passer is key. These obsessions (not yours) with 3/4 4/3 - you need playmakers. They may play limited snaps but when they do they make a difference. It's the plays which tilt balance that coaches and FO need to influence. How do we get off the field on 3rd down on defense. How do we make 3rd and 4. You get guys in to give you better %s at the edges.

This is what I worry about with the guy. I do like Nick Chubb though. I think early 2nd is a little early for him, but he's a player I like. More athletic than he gets credit for too. Smart instinctual runner

I would love it if we landed Courtland WR. That guy is a beast and a huge redzone threat.

Is Chubb (N) better than Kerryon Johnson? Genuine question. For our division. Happy with either really but I like to ask....

We can wait on the RB. I like Royce Freeman from Oregon. He is a beast and we may be able to wait until RD 4. That's my dude too...would rather wait on a RB as we already have two capable RBs...have other glaring holes to fill first.

j/c: Browns appear to be out on Guice, in on Chubb.
Could look OL as well, early tonight. https://twitter.com/AllbrightNFL/status/989965940451405824
At DT, context and meaning are a scarecrow kicking at moving goalposts.

A little early for Chubb IMO. Late 2nd if he's there. I like other players much better right now
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Jeudy is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Tillman is flanked out wide to the right. Judkins and Ford are split in the backfield as Flacco takes the snap ... Here we go."

I think they have to get him at 33 or 35. Which is fine, I think he is worth it. Most years, Chubb would be an easy 1st RB off the board. Freak athlete who isn't that far off from Barkley as an athlete.

Doesn't have the measurables, but a better football player who can play in the slot and outside. He's tough and gets off the jam, a solid route runner, a decent athlete, with reliable hands. That's the guy I want. The one who broke all of Issac Bruce's Records at Memphis

OK ... I could live with that ...
Or like i added after u replied ... im a lot more open to Landry here for the pass rush than I was for Chubb at #4 ... Because you didn't want the best pass rusher in the draft? I want 50+ sacks this year and we aren't even going to get close. Garrett will be double teamed every play. Having a stud DE opposite him would have helped out a great deal. We are going to need a great secondary because I seriously doubt we get much pressure with Garrett all by himself.

We are going to need a great secondary because I seriously doubt we get much pressure with Garrett all by himself. We've got Emmanuel Ogbah, who was coming into his own before the injury last season. And Larry Ogunjobi, who showed a lot of potential last year. And Caleb Brantley, who received a lot of praise from coaches last season too. We also have that new DE/Pass Rushing DT in Jason Smith, whom, from what I saw on comments sections, was a player that Bengals fans liked and wished they didn't lose Myles Garrett is not alone because we passed on Bradley Chubb

Orlando Brown reminds me of Marcus McNeil of the Chargers I seem to remember a lot of people questioning if he could be a LT or if he wold need to move to the right side.

At some point in any draft you start drafting ahead of the number to get your guy. I just don't know if the 2nd round is when you start to do that. To me that happen in maybe the 3rd or 4th round. You start throwing kinks in to other people boards.

I don't like any of the LT's.....we don't need a guard. Agreed! We are SET at guard. Not sure about any of these guys at Tackle. I was REALLY hoping we could get one in FA. No such luck. This was a bad year for stud LT's in the draft. We just have to hope we can shore up the position until next year and take one there if possible. We have been spoiled by Joe Thomas. No matter who we get he will be a step down from JT. Man am I going to miss that guy!

But I'm a UConn fan, so I've seen Courtland Sutton. And I've seen Anthony Miller. Give me Anthony Miller. I like that guy. He's a player. That's who I want. (Of course, I haven't spent much time evaluating many guys after QBs and RBs and guys I'd figure would go at 4)
