Is that gonna happen before or after his likeness goes up on Rushmore? With Mueller inda house, Dolt 45's® likeness more likely will be in mug shots.

Actually they are at the beginning of it. The talks haven't even begun yet. It is funny how when Obama said he would meet with Kim there was outrage over it. The right hated the idea. Now that it's one of theirs, it's suddenly a wonderful thing.
The double standard is hilarious.
No 40, you're not making history unless you come to an agreement. I hope for the best in all of this but the hypocrisy surrounding it is hilarious. The Right was correct in not wanting Obama to negotiate with Kim because we would all be speaking Korean today. It appears to me that your grasp on English isn't so solid... what makes you think that you could learn Korean? 40 scorched by the noob. Props Lairdawg!

Part of me wonders if this is a trap... NK knows Trump and his obvious weaknesses by now. All they have to do is compliment him and he will do whatever they want.
I just hope there are no attempts on Trump's life, I mean we all saw how KJU killed his own brother. He also murdered his uncle. Trump leads the country he considers to be his biggest threat. But I don't think he is stupid and harming Trump or any other American diplomat would be suicide at this point.
I can't wrap around KJU just suddenly turning into someone who wants to embrace the world, yet I think Trump will think that. I hope Trump goes there with REAL diplomats and allows negotiations to take place without him. KJU is willing to give up nukes, he's going to have a damn big ask for that and I don't know if Trump is the right guy to determine the price we are willing to pay.

I hope Trump goes there with REAL diplomats Were you awake in 2017? Do you remember Rex Tillerson? Have you seen our gutted State Dept? Who could he take to negotiations? US Nationalists cheered the widespread State Dept purges. Now, we have virtually no one around to assist/influence the next steps. This is what America looks like on the international stage- when Her policy is being dictated by a chemically-dyed sack of hair that's 2X smarter than the brain that sets beneath.

As everybody is aware, the past Administration has long been asking for three hostages to be released from a North Korean Labor camp, but to no avail. Stay tuned! 5:53 PM - 2 May 2018
Trump's words follow several media reports that suggested that a prisoner release was possible in North Korea. The reclusive nation, which has been warming up to Trump in recent weeks amid an upcoming summit, is planning to release three American prisoners just before or during the summit, according to multiple media sources. The three men — Kim Hak-Song, also known as Jin Xue Song; Tony Kim, also known as Kim Sang-Duk; and Kim Dong-Chul — have been relocated and are getting medical treatment ahead of the planned release, according to Reuters and AFP. AFP cited sources and South Korean activist Choi Sung Ryong. Choi told AFP the three men were being kept separately but were all moved to a hotel outside Pyongyang. He said they were "going on tours, receiving medical treatment and eating good food." The Trump Administration has been pushing for their release and President has said mutliple times he hoped the men would be allowed to come home. "We are negotiating now. We are doing our very best," Trump said at a news conference last month. "I think there's a good chance of doing it. We're having very good dialogue. We will keep you informed. But we are in there and we are working very hard on that." The three men, one of who has been in jail since 2015, could be released soon, South Korean news agency Yonhap reported. https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/worl...ting/575125002/

Stay tuned!" Kim Dong Chul has been in North Korean custody since before Trump was elected, the other two detainees were arrested last spring, after Trump's inauguration and as tensions between Washington and Pyongyang were beginning to ramp up. https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/world/giu...ocid=spartanntp I don't mean to belittle this event... but once again, through his eagerness to make himself look superior, he shows that he doesn't have a clue... time and time again...

I say - NO DEAL - with North Korea. I say bomb their next military parade. The streets. The palace. Maybe take-out 2 or 3 of Jong-un's doubles. You do realize when you see Jong-un it's not him. Right? (other than in North Korean state issued publicity shots taken from some hidden location inside NK) But it's pretty clear Trump is going to try to improve what's going on in the Far East. More specifically a bigger fish than NK - China. Jong-un's half brother shortly before being assassinated with nerve agent VX. A most unpleasant way to die. Last year.

What's going on in North Korea is very promising.. and as it progresses, I'm more than willing to give Trump the credit he deserves if it stays on a positive trajectory.. but this is WAY premature. This is like claiming the super bowl trophy at halftime because you have a lead.. ask the Falcons how that turns out... Let it play out for a while, see what happens, and let history and awards take care of themselves...

Trump says date and place for North Korea meeting are setPresident Donald Trump on Friday said the date and location have been set for a meeting with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, which would be announced soon, and hinted at progress in winning the release of three Americans held in North Korea. The White House has said the first meeting between sitting U.S. and North Korean leaders could take place in the coming weeks. Trump is expected to push for North Korea to give up its nuclear weapons. "We're having very substantive talks with North Korea and a lot of things have already happened with respect to the (U.S.) hostages. I think you're going to see very good things," Trump told reporters. https://www.cnbc.com/2018/05/04/trump-says-date-and-place-for-north-korea-meeting-are-set.htmlKeep it rolling President of the United States of America Donald Trump, keep it rolling!

Not a Trump fan, but he deserves a lot of credit for this.
Now if he can improve domestic policy as much as he has foreign policy, then I will be more pleased.

Sounds like the refugee needs to return back to his own country. Letting people in from craphole countries is not a good look. In 5 years England will be in a domestic war with the followers of Juche and the DPRK. Mark my words!

North Korea releases U.S. detainees, bows to another Trump demand https://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2018/may/2/north-korea-releases-us-detainees-bows-another-tru/North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un has released three U.S. citizens detained for years in his horrific prison camps, surrendering to another of President Trump’s demands in advance of a planned historic summit between the two leaders whose countries have long been adversaries. A series of concessions by Mr. Kim, from agreeing to a goal of denuclearizing the Korean Peninsula to freeing the three Americans, has not calmed fears among Mr. Trump’s critics that he will “wing it” in the talks and potentially empower the communist regime in Pyongyang. Behind the scenes at the White House, however, the president has marshaled an agile team to hone a fast-paced negotiating strategy and back him up in the nuclear talks, which could be held as soon as this month or by the end of June. The president’s combative style and the maneuvering by his team from the National Security Council and State Department have reaped early wins, but they are still far from getting Mr. Kim to give up his nuclear weapons. “We’re in the beginning stages of the work, and the outcome is certainly yet unknown,” Mr. Pompeo, a former CIA chief, said when sworn in Wednesday as secretary of state. “But one thing is certain: This administration will not repeat the mistakes of the past. Our eyes are wide open. It’s time to solve this once and for all. A bad deal is not an option.” The small group running North Korea preparations, overseen by Mr. Pompeo and National Security Advise

Well it is now official, the Americans are free and coming home! They just landed in Japan. Thank you President of the United States of America Donald Trump. "I am pleased to inform you that Secretary of State Mike Pompeo is in the air and on his way back from North Korea with the 3 wonderful gentlemen that everyone is looking so forward to meeting. They seem to be in good health. Also, good meeting with Kim Jong Un. Date & Place set." -President of the United States of America, Donald Trump

At least Trump will get the Noble Peace Prize for actually doing something I love that they all think the Nobel committee - a group of European academics and social scientists who more or less exist anymore to troll the American right - would honor a racist manchild who spends his days crying about immigrants and the media. Like, even on the off-chance Trump was a part of an accord of some sort, they still wouldn't give it to him.

Yesterday he withdrew from a multinational accord he didn't even understand on a basic level, simply because of his uncontrollable child-like jealous rage. A pact the committee had previously honored, no less. That alone would remove him from any serious consideration of a peace prize, even if there was no bias to the merit. And while I agree Obama never should have been given a peace prize seeing as he was a war hawk, I'd love to hear more about what you meant by "because of...well, we all know".

I would have withdrawn too (I would have never signed on in the first place like B"I wanna have a legacy"O).
Iran was offered much more efficient Light water technology with would not produce weapons grade uranium...they wanted to use old out dated energy production technology that was way less efficient but would produce weapons grade enriched uranium...their reasoning for wanting this option was so they could drink the result "heavy water" to cure AIDS and Cancer....and The pre-Trump world bought it hook line a sinker....and even paid Iran for the down and dirty action we got.

I think one of the biggest hurdles is going to be North Korea's recent insistence that Trump has nothing to do with these recent accords.
Like in most cases, Trump is clearly oblivious to the situation at hand, and doesn't seem particularly interested in learning, nor does he have any real plan or ideology or backbone. The one and only thing that concerns him is press or recognition. Without being hailed as an integral cog, he'll obviously balk.
Then again, if Kim can dupe Trump into giving up the farm, there's no reason why he wouldn't back off his stance of denying Trump as a factor.
