“To announce that there must be no criticism of the President, or that we are to stand by the President, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public.”
so, we're up 2-0 with two straight at home. Getting a sweep would be HUGE for rest
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

btw, how frustrating must the Raptors feel with us

It has to suck when your whole defensive game plan is to force LeBron to take contested fade away shots and then he makes like 9 or 10 in a row.. what do you do at that point?
One last basketball post before I get back to work. WTH happened to LeBron's free throw shooting? He had that 23 in a row streak or something and it feels like he's 2 for 18 since it ended. He can't make anything.
no clue. it seems like if we're in complete control of the game, the only thing that sucks is the FT shooting. green also bricked two shots at the line.

So ...... that happened .... and the Cavaliers still own Toronto.
I wondered how Toronto would react in game 2, after leading all of game 1 .... until they lost. I hate to say that they can't win .... but I think they think they're toast at this point.

I'm really surprised Boston has a 2-0 lead right now

i had to dvr the game but kept up on a the feed. After watching the second half, damn. Lebron wasn't losing last night. He smelled blood and decided to remind toronto we still have our flag planted in their backside. Nice to see Love show up again. This was probably the most complete game we've played so far in the playoffs. If the team from last night shows up more then it could be a pretty easy run for us. I knew that Toronto would be an easier series than Indy was, but I didn't expect the domination last night. I thought Toronto would put forth a better effort. Last night was a must win for them I thought. I think we sweep or 4-1. I think Boston is going to sweep Philly, but watching them, Boston doesn't scare me, their defense isn't going to stop lebron like it did simmons. Can we stop comparing Simmons to lebron yet..seriously. Dude needs to get 100x better and grow a set of balls to be mentioned in the same breath as Lebron

It was a fantastic game last night. Getting Love back in was key. Lebron showed 'em who's boss. It was a pleasure to watch.
To me, the Raptors looked totally deflated once we took the lead. At this point, they probably have zero confidence in playing us.

I thought Toronto looked nervous in game one, even when they had the big lead. There was none of that swagger, confidence and cockiness that Indiana had.

I was amused at DeRozen's post game presser.. his "We thrive off of adversity" comments. I realize that is about the only thing he can say at this point but he was really trying to sell it.. almost like, this is where we were hoping to be because now we can thrive... if we were up 2-0, we wouldn't be lucky enough to have this adversity on our side.
