Just read an article Salazar got a shot in the shoulder and is expected to miss a week plus with no pitching/throwing at all.

Man, we need to get healthy. Kluber, my favorite pitcher, needed to pitch a complete game cause of the lack of a bullpen and he played his worse all season IMO.

Nice hearing about Carlos though. Second complete game of the season.

good W today! love a day win

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

How about some love for Tyler Naquin!

He's hitting over .400 in his last 12 games, and he had a nice 3 run HR today. wink

See that we traded Gio Urshella for cash or a player to be named. I kinda hoped that he might become a real player, but he just never really seemed to catch ion at the major league level.

Naquin has been a bright spot for sure!

Salazar is a head case. The Indians aren't saying anything publicly, but I'll be surprised if Salazar ever pitches any meaningful innings for them again. He struggles with adversity.

Due to Naquin's production, Chisenhall would certainly need to earn his way back. Naquin has earned the right to play.

And Naquin hasn't come close to a full season of stats yet.

Only 482 career plate appearances.

And a very beefy .438 slugging %.

If he becomes more disciplined at the plate (142 SO - way too many), he'll be a very serviceable outfielder.

The Indians have activated Andrew Miller from the DL. Tyler Olson to MLB's paternity list (1-3 days) to clear room. Bullpen posted 9.50 ERA in 36 innings while Miller was shelved.

Trevor Bauer is a totally different pitcher from the stretch as opposed to from a wind-up. The wheels come off when guys get on base.

I know it. I wish he could always just stay in the wind up

Carrasco used to have then same problem until he ditched the wind-up and just pitched from the stretch all the time, whether anyone was on base or not.

Bauer just walked in a run. 4-3 Royals.

*Sigh* 18-19 now, 1 game under .500.

Frankie with yet another error.

Andrew Miller seems to have been infected by our bullpen, rather than coming back to straighten things out. banghead

Francisco Lindor (4-4 -- 2 HRs, 2 2Bs) was the first Cleveland Indians' leadoff hitter to have 4 XBH since Tito Francona did it on July 3, 1964 against the Chicago White Sox.

Whoa!

Greg Allen got his first RBI of the year. The man's on fire.

Well, sort of.

Still looking for first base hit.

Tigers radio color man Jim Price gave an old glove with Tito Francona’s signature to Terry Francona today. Indians manager said it was probably a purchase with S&H green stamps way back when.

Carlos is 5-1 this year, which is good. Also good -- 🍪 is 8-1 with a 1.45 ERA in his last 12 starts against Detroit.

Let's start the series off right!

I listened to the game and Hammy said we are second worst in baseball right now, just better than the Royals. Talk about a strength going to a weakness in 1 year frown

A lot of people were happy to get rid of Shaw, but I'd take him back in a split second.

As stated, the bullpen is atrocious.

Tomlin working on no-hitter.

I don't mean to jinx him but Tigers still hitless after 2 PC. (pitch count)

Never mind.
