If you believe that America should place moles and spies inside the opposition party while Federal Law Enforcement
works against that party during an election, then you favor a system like we see in Russia and other Authoritarian governments.

I do not want that kind of America.

Trump is saying to investigate all of it and find out where the corruption is. We must discover the problems and make sure they stop with this last election!

Trump is under investigation.
The FBI is under investigation.
The CIA is under investigation.
The Justice Department is under investigation.
The DNC is under investigation.
The Obama administration is under investigation.
Hillary and the Clinton Foundation are under investigation.

This Last election was a warning to America and we must do everything in our power to make sure it is not our future!

He can easily accomplish this tomorrow morning... when he pulls out his razor and toothbrush.

I understand this Daman.. but I also understand the flip side.. what happens in a year or two when Trump is running for re-election against Democrat X.... and suddenly there are allegations against Democrat X so the Justice Department does it's due diligence and puts a couple people inside the campaign?

I try to be very careful where I use the slippery slope argument.. this is one of those places where I see how this could go horribly wrong.

The problem is that he allegations were valid.

People need to remember that the FBI started doing all of this after popadopolous started yapping to an Australian diplomat about the Russian connects.

There’s really no flip side. In this particular case, the FBI did exactly what they were suppose to as far as investigating this potential criminal activity.

Which is proving to be less “potential”and more “ok, how far up does the food chain go”.

Is that what they did, or did they cultivate someone that was already inside to determine if there was an issue.

This is what the investigations must get to the bottom of.
If our Law Enforcement is now political and our elections are tainted, it will be the end of what this Nation stands for.

We all have a stake in this.

Swish all I'm saying is that it's not that difficult to come up with "credible allegations"... especially if you are the current party in charge...

The fact that the allegations proved to have validity isn't all that important to me, the thought of one party being able to infiltrate the other parties campaign based on "allegations" is scary. It's putting a whole lot of faith in the political neutrality of the FBI... and I desperately WANT to believe I can do that, but it's difficult.

Well when you have people claiming that they're more patriotic than "the other people" and they're more Christian than "the other people" and have more family values than "other people", you sort of earn a look under the microscope.

This is definitely something to watch. There is in my opinion a big difference between Trump Jr trying to dig up information and the President of the United States doing it.

That said I'm fairly ignorant to the entirety of this situation.

Nothing more, nothing less.

Posters who are first in line to defend law enforcement while the facts are still coming in, but now try to demonize the FBI, Justice dept, etc. now that 45* has named them as his enemy.

Just an observation.

Well a poster like me will always be first in line to defend the great work of law enforcement.

How many guilty pleas? How many indictments? All associated in one way or the other with the Trump campaign...

I think I understand what Trump is dealing with. He's a businessman, and if you believe him or just take him at h is word, he's successful.

He's used to running the show. He says it and it gets done his way. If it works, he makes money, if it doesn't, he losses money and files bankruptcy.

He's virtually had nobody to report to in any meaningful way his entire career.

Now, for the first time in his life, he's got a boss. Roughly 310 million of them to be clear. All of a sudden he's being looked like never before and actions that maybe would be considered OK in business, aren't in Government, and for good reason.

I'm sure he doesn't like it and I get that. But he had to know this would happen. If he's as smart as he says he is, you'd think he'd have figured it out.

So, he basically asked for this scrutiny... and he's getting it. Deal with it.

What is going on here is quite easy to see.
Clem and others are so wrapped up in their hate of Trump that it has spread to their hate of everything Trump and everyone who supports Trump.

-Trump announced, "My phones are being tapped" and you all laughed.
-Trump announced there are people inside the government who are biased against me and for Hillary who are attacking me at every level. Yet you laughed.
-Then it turned out there was an unsubstantiated dossier, paid for by his opponents and used by Law Enforcement to get a FISA Warrant.
-Then the illegal unmasking of American Citizens.
-Leaks by the FBI and others to the Press.

-On and on, Bad cops working their evil deeds.

Yet you continued to laugh.

-Then Trump fired Comey, the investigation by Congress found many of those involved in this anti Trump bias and down they went, Fired by their superiors, demoted by their superiors, early retirements as the TRUTH comes out.

-Now President Trump is calling for a full investigation of these matters to find out once and for all how deep this politicization of our Nations top Law Enforcement Agencies goes.

Yet you laugh, you blame him as America awaits more TRUTH.

So far the Truth and the Facts show that President Trump was right all along! You hate that.
