Another great victory for the team that has been called "trash" and would never make it out of the first round of the playoffs.

Observations:

--TT has owned Horford for years, dating back to when cfrs called Atlanta the Golden State of the East. I don't know what it is exactly, but he's in Horford's head.

--I didn't like the Korver acquisition, but the guy is a much better player than I thought. Obviously, his shot is pure, but he also is a good team defender, sets good screens, and hustles his butt off.

--Love is struggling w/his offense, but if he gets hot, Boston is baked.

--TT's ability to keep loose balls alive, rebound, hustle, and screens are huge for this team. Those are the kinds of things that win playoff games.

--Nance gave us some quality minutes. His jumping ability is awesome and he is a "quick jumper." He doesn't have to gather himself. He just rises up. Fast.

--George Hill might or might not have had big stats, but he was huge for us. The guy is smart and tough. We need him to continue playing well.

--JR has become a very good defender. He is pretty quick on D. I love how he flies at guys and he won't get punked.

--LeBron is simply the greatest player in today's game.

--I thought our defensive intensity was great in the first half, but we got a little sloppy in the second half. We weren't as intense defensively and turnovers hurt.

--I said that I thought whomever won game 4 would win the series and I still believe that our experience combined w/having LeBron wins out and we go to the Finals for the 4th consecutive year.

--I'm enjoying the ride. Some of you should hop on the wagon. It's a fun ride and sure beats being miserable and negative.

All I can say is... with LBJ, anything is possible. When we're making our shots, especially referring to 3's, we stand a high chance of winning.

With that said, Boston missed a lot of shots and from memory, most were good looks.

we need to make sure we bring that same energy to boston tomorrow night.

if we can get 2 other guys to score in double figures, i think we will be ok.

It would really help if Love could find his shot. We all know he is typically a very good shooter. And hopefully, either JR or Korver can get hot.

I think it might be tough to beat Boston in game 5. Winning 4 straight is tough in a Conference finals. Obviously, losing the first 2 made this rough. But, I think we can still win the series.

One thing I can't believe I forgot to mention earlier. We were abusing Boston by setting screens on the wing. Boston would switch and LeBron was punishing the smaller defenders. LeBron out-coaching Stevens. LOL

I think as long as Hill/korver play like they have, jr hit a couple threes and play good defense, and love continue to atleast rebound..But for cavs, the key seems to be Hill..if he has success everyone seems to follow.

Ok, I never said those things but to be fair.. we were perilously close to not making it out of the first round.. and we are benefitting from Kyrie being hurt about as much as GSW did when Kyrie and Love were out a few years ago...

Yea, right around the time we started missing shots. That's the Cavs achilles heel.. if they aren't making 3s, everything falls apart with it. Korver got cold in the 4th and missed 2 or 3 shots in a row that he would normally make and we also missed a few at the rim that normally we would make, that's when they cut the lead to 6 (or 8, can't remember exactly)...

yep. thats why everybody says lebron is the HC.

people sometimes forget that brad stevens only has a whopping 3 wins against lebron and the cavs in the playoffs, in a total of 3 series.

Love frustrates me because he's big for no reason. he's so inconsistent on when he wants to get in the post. and he keeps getting these silly injuries. its always something with him.

and it sucks because i really like Love, and the reality is that if Love isn't playing well, our chances of winning really shrink. we need him.

game 5, imo, could be the make or break game for both teams. so i agree its gonna be tough to beat boston, but man...we got something they dont. Lebron.

I'm sure it will be offered in the pregame and repeated many times throughout the night.. in a series tied 2-2, the winner of game 5 wins the series more than 80% of the time...

Love frustrates the hell out of me at times. My son and I were watching one of the games against Toronto and I was cussing out Love like crazy. He's like: "settle down."

Of course, Love then nails a three and I say: "I love that guy." smirk

As far as game 5 goes, I think Boston might take it, but then we beat them at home and win on their court in game 7. I hope we don't have to go 7 games, but it's gonna be tough in game 5.

I think you guys are right, but I think game 4 was the pivotal game in this particular series.

for the cavs, absolutely. Lebron might turn this into that 07 detriot series.

Love the man when he's in it, hate him when he's not. I just wish he had a secret recipe, article of clothing, black magic or SOMETHING that could get him going early in games because when he's shooting, doing damage in the paint and rebounding - man he's a great asset.

probably the biggest key to this team: Love, JR, and Korver must hit shots

and if George Hill plays well at the guard spot, all the better

Looks like the Rockets are picking up right where they left off. They have real problems making simple layups.

These missed dunks are contagious.

This game has had such a weird flow to it. Warriors come out to a 12-0 lead. Rockets battle back and take a 10 point lead. Warriors respond to go up 10. Rockets go up 5.

What next?

Kinda shocked Houston won this. I hated their O, but their D was pretty good.

And they beat them in GS's house!

The Warriors looked like they did in game 7 of the 2016 finals in that 4th quarter.

What a game last night. This series will hinge on game 5 IMO

Tonight’s line favors the Cavs
Cavs -115
Boston -105

The series winner line is:
Cavs -190
Boston +165

Boston put up a nice fight, but they aren’t beating LeBron in a best of 7.

I did not know that stat. We need to run hard and not get cocky or complacent. Best of three now. This is a "Count on ME!" game, to bring extra and do more. And maybe we can pound inside some more. When we run hard, we hurt people. Sit one or two down, we are in abetter place. Find all the D you can!

Go, Cavs!

I'd actually put a little money on Boston. They'll be energized tonight (and game 7). Plus, if we don't hit a certain percent of our 3 pointers we will lose.

the warriors seemed really out of synch the last quarter. No movement, no spacing, poor shot selection.

I think it was a combination of things:

1. Iggy's injury forces them to play a "non shooter" and Houston can sag in with 2 and pressure with 3.

2. Klay was a little hobbled.

3. Green at times becomes a non-threat.

4. Steph is in his own head a little bit right now.

5. Houston ramped up the physicality.

I don't think he even got that shot off in time had he made it.

When they reviewed it on the postgame show, it appeared to be in his hands when time expired.

It doesn't look good right now but one game can change the momentum back ... Lebron should be MVP every year ... JMHO

Let’s clean up the lazy passes lebron. 7 turnovers a game isn’t a stat you want
