Game 1 - Warriors Game 2 - Warriors Game 3 - Warriors Game 4 - Cavs Game 5 - Warriors
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Jeudy is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Tillman is flanked out wide to the right. Judkins and Ford are split in the backfield as Flacco takes the snap ... Here we go."

The Rockets really blew that game after halftime. Cold as ice. What the hell happened that they were missing practically everything?
I'm almost afraid to watch the Finals, but of course I will. When Golden State gets hot? They are practically unstoppable.
We shall soon see/Go Cavs!

+25? Yes, I'd take Cleveland there.
My honest line would be Warriors -14

Gentlemen's sweep is about as good as we can hope, barring any injury to GSW. There you have it, lead predicts an easy GSW series win SO THE CAVS ARE GOING TO BE THE 2018 NBA CHAMPIONS!!!

based on the Alabama football/Lebron basketball trend we should win the title
based on everything else we should lose

barring any injury to GSW. They are the most complete team in a very long time. Ever. You have to go back to the Celtics/Lakers days to even get close. Bulls weren't close. I was thinking about this last night.. who from the 90s Bulls teams would start (or even see significant minutes) on the GSW team? (I picked the 95-96 team just for fun) MJ - sure Pippen - would see time.. Who else? John Salley maybe.. Kerr probably not, Kukoc I don't think so, Rodman limited.. Ron Harper maybe as about the 10th man.. If you go position by position, everything the top 7 players for the Bulls could do, GSW has somebody who can do it equally as well AND contribute other stuff.. other than MJ.

Browns' Damarious Randall on the hook for millions if Cavs win play 11:08 AM ET Pat McManamon Cleveland Browns safety Damarious Randall may have to dig deep into his wallet if the Cleveland Cavaliers win the NBA championship. Randall has promised everyone on Twitter who retweeted the following that he would buy them a jersey -- if the Cavs beat the Golden State Warriors in the Finals. Damarious Randall ✔ @RandallTime If the Cleveland Cavaliers win the 2018 NBA finals I’ll buy everyone who retweet’s this a jersey... 11:58 PM - May 28, 2018 As of Tuesday morning, Randall had 72,801 retweets, and the number was growing fast. In 30 minutes the number of retweets went from 65,000 to almost 73,000. At an average cost of $99.99 on the NFL Shop, he's committed to $7.279 million in jerseys. Randall's promise was born out of his apparent support for Stephen Curry and the Warriors. The Browns' new free safety, acquired from the Packers in an offseason trade, stirred up the hornet's nest that is Cleveland fandom by blatantly rooting for the Warriors, to the point of almost taunting Cleveland fans on Twitter. Damarious Randall ✔ @RandallTime I’m glad the Cavs made it to the finals so I can watch Curry light that bitch up Game 3 & 4 😂😂🤷🏾‍♂️ 11:19 PM - May 27, 2018 Damarious Randall ✔ @RandallTime I’m courtside for game 3 & 4 ... 🤙🏾 11:03 PM - May 27, 2018 Though some fans understood Randall has no obligation to root for the Cleveland teams, others were not pleased. Damarious Randall ✔ @RandallTime 27 May I’m glad the Cavs made it to the finals so I can watch Curry light that bitch up Game 3 & 4 😂😂🤷🏾‍♂️ Matt Kirchner ($LTC $TRX) @LIGBeyond 1. Are u from California? 2. Is your family from california? 3. Have you lived in/gone to school in California? 4. Have you played with any team or player(s) associated with the golden state warriors? just a front runner then. Same as every other GS fan. Leave Cleveland please 11:37 PM - May 27, 2018 Damarious Randall ✔ @RandallTime 27 May I’m glad the Cavs made it to the finals so I can watch Curry light that bitch up Game 3 & 4 😂😂🤷🏾‍♂️ Josh Stefanow @TheStefanow Damarious Randall's Cleveland fanbase love - 03/09/18 - 05/27/18. RIP. Cause of death: Self inflicted anti-Cleveland tweet. pic.twitter.com/JdMSoVSCd8 12:45 AM - May 28, 2018 Damarious Randall ✔ @RandallTime 27 May I’m glad the Cavs made it to the finals so I can watch Curry light that bitch up Game 3 & 4 😂😂🤷🏾‍♂️ One fan responded to the jersey post by saying "Zero chance he delivers." To which Randall responded: Damarious Randall ✔ @RandallTime 100% chance 🤙🏾🤙🏾 https://twitter.com/clevstrikesback/status/1001312484869976064 … Randall, who grew up in Pensacola, Florida, did tweet that LeBron James deserved the MVP award, and that he would have pulled for the Cavs if Houston had won. Now he's evidently going to have courtside seats for two games while cheering for Curry and playing for the Browns. Randall making friends in Cleveland

The Cavaliers are heavy underdogs in the Finals. Ty Lue says the Cavs don't need that for motivation. He said the motivation comes from knowing they'll be champions if they win four more games. https://twitter.com/jsproinsider/status/1001494058538291200

He also said that he will buy everyone who re-tweets one of his tweets will get a free jersey, if the Cavaliers win. He signed a 4 year deal worth just shy of $8 million, nd he is already over that amount at the average cost of a jersey. lol He will be playing for free, or worse, if the Cavaliers win. How Browns' Damarious Randall irked The Land over the Cavs, and his generous offer | cleveland.com https://www.cleveland.com/browns/index.s...#incart_m-rpt-1CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Welcome to Cleveland, Damarious Randall. The Browns' new free safety, acquired in a trade with the Packers in March, has incited The Land with a series of pro-Warriors and pro-Steph Curry tweets. A native of Pensacola, Fla., Randall has quickly discovered that Cleveland fans stick together and if you disrespect one team, you incur the wrath of the masses. But Randall is not only holding his ground about the Warriors beating the Cavs in the NBA Finals, he's so confident about it that he's made a very generous offer. He tweeted that "If the Cleveland Cavaliers win the 2018 NBA finals I'll buy everyone who retweet's this a jersey.'' Randall has Vegas on his side, with the Warriors historically huge favorites to beat the Cavs in the seven-game series. According to Sportsoddshistory.com, Golden State are the biggest favorites in the last 16 years at -1,000. Afterall, the Cavs lost to the Warriors in five last year -- and that was with Kyrie Irving. Watch the Browns first OTA practice So Randall might not lose his shirt on the jerseys, but if the Cavs win, his new four-year contract with the Browns worth $7.9 million won't be nearly enough to cover it. As of about 9 a.m. Tuesday, Randall had more 57,000 retweets, and at an average of about $150 for a jersey based on Cavs website prices of $200 for authentic jersey and $110 for a swingman version, he's already up to more $8.55 million. But Randall is having fun with it even though he's getting hammered by Cleveland fans. In fact, he even tweeted some laughing emojis about Tyrod Taylor tweeting "Go Cavs.'' But Randall is confident you will love him again when he starts at free safety for the Browns this season. See how it all unfolded here: Damarious Randall ✔ @RandallTime I’m glad the Cavs made it to the finals so I can watch Curry light that bitch up Game 3 & 4 😂😂🤷🏾‍♂️ 11:19 PM - May 27, 2018 Damarious Randall ✔ @RandallTime You a Cavs fan now 😂😂 https://twitter.com/tyrodtaylor/status/1000936771012710400 … 11:13 PM - May 27, 2018 Damarious Randall ✔ @RandallTime They will love me when they see me play Free Safety 😂😂😂 https://twitter.com/friedbonious/status/1000944729746432000 … 11:41 PM - May 27, 2018 Damarious Randall ✔ @RandallTime IF Houston would have won I would have gladly rooted for the Cavs To win the finals ... 11:51 PM - May 28, 2018 Damarious Randall ✔ @RandallTime If the Cleveland Cavaliers win the 2018 NBA finals I’ll buy everyone who retweet’s this a jersey... 11:58 PM - May 28, 2018 Damarious Randall ✔ @RandallTime Me Tomorrow At Work 😂😂 11:48 PM - May 28, 2018 Nick Mastropietro @NMastropietro 28 May Luv this dude! #HeGetsUs https://twitter.com/bakermayfield/status/1000914294714851328 … Brian Demps @bdemps15 Maybe Damarious Randall should grab a pen and paper and take some notes on how to embrace a city and their fans. 9:25 AM - May 28, 2018 Damarious Randall ✔ @RandallTime Na everyone know the outcome of this already ... https://twitter.com/dukejohnson_8/status/1001303583298609153 … 11:38 PM - May 28, 2018 Damarious Randall ✔ @RandallTime Na everyone know the outcome of this already ... https://twitter.com/dukejohnson_8/status/1001303583298609153 … 11:38 PM - May 28, 2018 Joe Cappuccio @WingsWithJoe .@RandallTime It was a good series. Well we got them right where we want them.
The Cav's will most likely be the biggest underdog of all time in NBA Finals.
So the stage is set for the biggest upset.
That's why we watch sports to see what nobody expects.
Tyson vs Buster Douglas.
Could we pull the upset?? My eyes and logic say no way. Lucky to win a game or two.
What would have to happen?
Love, JR, Korver, Hill and Green will have to go nuts.
In addition defense or just luck that the Warriors can't hit shots. I mean the Rockets were epic chokes.
Harden? Please. MVP? Give me a break.
LeBron will do his thing which is be what he is - great.
I thought the Cav's would lose in the first round so this is all gravy to me.

Lesson for the Cavs in that ZERO for 27 or30 on second half threes. Demand paint. There is no substitute for how it can help you in many ways. We better get a few folks to open a can of bad ass grit. Because we have not taken nearly enough hurt to some of these folks. Blast 'em.
We screw up in predictable ways. We have managed to survive and move on. But we need to punish these guys; we chase and react. We need to prevent and deny. Contest every ball.
Go, Cavs! Sixteen quarters from winning it all. . . .

Randall will probably send everyone a Manziel jersey. Lol... an instance where the winner would technically be the loser. ... As for the team, gosh I don't even know what to say. Excited, nervous and just the whole picture going on. I hope LBJ is fully rested. He's the spark that makes the engine move. Love still in protocol, that sucks. Might not make it game one.

I hope some more positive/realistic guys like you post more on this thread. All the Cavs' threads have been utterly disappointing due to a few posters constantly ragging on the team and not even enjoying a team that has gotten to the Finals 4 straight years.
I mean........damn! That's a great accomplishment and it sure beats battling for the first overall draft choice each year.

What the Cav's have done is nothing short of a miracle.
I mean the team was put together more than halfway through the season.
Clearly a team with a chemistry challenge.
To get to the Finals is astounding. Win a game seven on the road to a team that had not lost at home in the playoffs.
Now we are dealing with house money. There is no pressure. The Warriors have every advantage.
It would be so cool to take them down.
I will be tuned in pulling for my team.

You think the GS coach is going to overlook us, sell us short, not take us seriously? I do not. Look over your shoulder at the wrecks in our wake: Survived that killer first round, and played our way into THIS championship. The BSPN wizards and endless number of jabbering heads can't line up fast enough to talk at length why we can't win.
Fans, we have been in "Can't win" mode doing the impossible for an impossibly long time. If any of them had been right in much of any of their drivel, well, we should be out by now it seems. We are the bee, too heavy to fly, but too busy flying to listen. We just win. I think we may have found some bench; LBJ remains King: we are grittier.
Typical Cleveland Ball betting: I wouldn't bet on us, but i wouldn't bet against us. Go, Cavs

Golden State and Houston were obviously the class of the NBA this year. I don't think anyone else was close, quite frankly.
James Harden, Chris Paul, Clint Capela is a heck of a core. Heck add Eric Gordon to that as well. They have a system in place that may not be the most conventional or exciting playstyle but it's winning basketball in 2018 (65 wins, took Warriors the brink in game 7 and would have won if not for a historically bad shooting run.)
I'm not sure how you can really compare the Celtics and Rockets. The Celtics are going to be monsters maybe as soon as next year, but at least for this year, they're very young and inexperienced and were down two of their best players. That they were so close to knocking off the Cavs is a testament to having an outstanding young core, outstanding coaching, as well as a front office that put it all together. They never should have been able to go toe to toe with the Cavs like they did. Sorry but that's just the truth.
We'll see what happens in the Finals. I'm rooting for the Cavs but think they are totally outgunned and outcoached. If they win more than 1 game this series I'll be very impressed. On the flipside though, I'm not expecting much so there's not much in the way of expectations or pressure. Maybe the players feel the same way.. teams can be dangerous like that.

Its great we are in the finals, but lets not pretend we have a chance...we have the worst odds in NBA history according to vegas...had we still had Kyrie then I'd like our chances alot more.

Last year in the Finals we had an elite offense with both Lebron and Irving playing at a very high level and we still lost 4-1. I think the, 'but we have Lebron!' doesn't really apply when the other team has two MVP-caliber players in their primes, two more top-20 or so players, good role players and an excellent coach. I'm not sure the NBA has ever had a team like it before. To think back in 2016 there were actually people arguing that the Warriors shouldn't sign Durant if they had the chance..

The Rockets really blew that game after halftime. Cold as ice. What the hell happened that they were missing practically everything?
I'm almost afraid to watch the Finals, but of course I will. When Golden State gets hot? They are practically unstoppable.
We shall soon see/Go Cavs! Well, when any team gets hot they are unstoppable... We are in the Finals with merit, Houston is on par with the Celtics. How many games did Golden State take to beat Houston, and we are better than them. So anything goes... If players rise to the occasion, we have the GOAT on our side... we are not better than houston...Houston was the 1 seed in the west. They also handed us our worst loss of the season and we lost both games against them. That being said, we would have had a better chance against them as we matchup better and LBJ>>>>Harden by a large margin. Houston lives and dies by the 3 and the PNR, We saw what happens when the 3 doesn't fall for them. GSW is just a machine with relentless offense and suffocating defense. If they take away lebron its going to expose the rest of the team. Time to see who has championship mettle Houston was also better then GSW, and the Celtics better than the Cavaliers... Yet Houston is closer to the Celtics, and we won... GSW didn't sweep Houston, and in fact IMHO they were a worse team, luckier and more experienced. Houston isn't even close to the Celtics, Houston would beat the celtics in 4..We wouldn't have beaten Boston with kyrie and gordon.. Its great we are in the finals, but lets not pretend we have a chance...we have the worst odds in NBA history according to vegas...had we still had Kyrie then I'd like our chances alot more. How did Houston fair against Boston in the regular season? Don't remember such a sweep or dominance from Houston... And yes Houston is probably better than the Celtics, but they are also better than Golden State and they lost... We didn't get to the finals by luck, we can play any team and win. In a good day the Cavs are the best team in the NBA, so we just need 4 good days...

Regarding the Cavs, this are the Finals, and Finals never repeat. 3 years ago we had a worst team, we can argue that Irving just melted on the finals last year, and that the team mojo wasn't there. No team can beat the Cavs in a good day... we the GSW and all the NFL know that... Now is 4 more good days too much to ask, maybe, but lets see...

No team can beat the Cavs in a good day... I disagree. If the Cavs play their best game and GSW plays their best game, GSW wins.. they just have more weapons and more depth. Doesn't mean the Cavs can't win the series...

But either houston or GSW would have provided a quick series against us. And I should have prefaced the houston/boston comment. Boston with Kyrie is just as good as houston probably, but without him no. But I concede that we would have had better matchups against houston than we do against GS. Houston can get hot/cold for long stretches and you can get back on them. GSW have relentless offense, which if we have our cold spells like we always do, especially in the 3rd, then thats death

GSW can erode a big double digit lead (or grow a small lead into a big lead) in the blink of an eye if you go cold or lose focus on defense for even a short amount of time... You really have to stay at the top of your game for the full 48 to beat them..

No team can beat the Cavs in a good day... we the GSW and all the NFL know that... Now is 4 more good days too much to ask, maybe, but lets see... Houston was clearly better than Golden State, how so? I think you are conflating having a very real chance of winning the series with being clearly better. The first is true but the latter is not. Warriors - Rockets 1. 119 - 106 2. 105 - 1273. 126 - 85 4. 92 - 955. 94 - 986. 115 - 86 7. 101 - 92 (752 - 689) How is it that the clearly better team got outscored by 63 points in a 7 game series? When I watched, there were times where it seemed like Golden State struggled to find answers and other times where Golden State just demolished Houston. I'm talking about 126-85 in game 3, or 64-25 in the second half of game 6. Houston had a great chance this series for a number of reasons. Games 4 and 5 came down to the wire and it honestly felt like a miracle that Houston won both of them. Maybe others see it differently. Their only convincing win was game 2. NBA games and especially series go beyond just talent. Matchup and adjustments matter. Houston is actually built really well to contend with Golden State. Everybody who got significant minutes on the Rockets, aside from Capela, can shoot the 3. They have Harden who is a beast in isolation, which largely nullifies Golden State's switch-heavy defensive scheme. The Rockets themselves have length and athleticism in abundance on the perimeter, while Golden State was weak on wing depth (see what happened when Iggy went down) while stashing a bunch of big men that had little use in this series. It's too bad because the Cavs don't really have the talent to stress that like the Rockets did.
