On one hand you want liberals to be treated one way, and on the other you want anyone else to be treated differently. No, actually I don't really care about that. I was the first to call out Samantha Bee for her comments about Ivanka. But let me tell you what I do stand for. I stand for any and all businesses to have the right to hire or fire whom they so choose unless there is a contract in place that legally states otherwise. Now that used to be a conservative value. I'm not really sure when that all changed.
Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

The NFL, not liking what the players are doing, have decided they have to follow policy, or they can fine and suspend them, their right to do so.
Actually that is still questionable. The NFL did not say they were going to fine or suspend the players. They said they will fine the teams. Once (if) the teams try to pass those down to the players is when the battle over the CBA will begin Questionable huh? Please do tell, have any NBA players kneeled? No? Why not? Because this was in the CBA that they agreed to (The NBAPA). What the NFL owners have done is added to the CBA without any negotiating with the players association. That is why the NFL put it in that the teams would be fined, because there is nothing to grieve on that. Once teams try to pass it down to the players is when the NFLPA can grieve it. The NFL kind of played it smart in the way they did it . Not saying they wont win the battle in the long run , but there will most likely be a battle, or the NFLPA may say hell with it and pick their battles elsewhere

so we agree, they were not allowed to kneel. thank you for agreeing, that the nfl has the same right the nba has in making that rule. Yes and no.. they are not allowed to kneel by their rules, so on that we agree.. the reason nobody in the NBA challenged those rules is because the NBA allowed them to wear shirts like these and others (on the court, while "at work", in front of the paying customers).. so far the NFL's only concession has been to keep yo' blackazz in the locker room and out of sight of our paying customers... as soon as the NFL makes a genuine concession like that, or at the very least reaches out to the players union to see what kind of concession they might accept, then they might rise closer to the level of the NBA.

so dress code is now an issue.... funny, I have to wear a suit to work, or I get sent home. If I refuse to change into a suit, I lose my job. The NFL as a company has a right to set any standards they wish to uphold the image they want to portray. As does my employer - thus they require me to wear a suit. If I do not wish to wear said suit, I can find a new employer.

Maybe Fox News will pick up Roseanne and air it right after Hannity, continuation of audience engagement. Then all they need is Duck Dynasty before and they will own conservative TV.

There isn't a double standard because they're not being racist. Well, I'm sure Bahar and Maher have been, but I don't know the situation you're referring to. They're also telling jokes. Typing x + y = z is not a joke. Chris rock saying he wants to see white kids show and white mothers on tv crying is not racist? saying or joking? And what was the context? The NFL as a company has a right to set any standards they wish to uphold the image they want to portray. I get that.. the image they are portraying right now is that of a bunch of whiney billionaire white guys with a 2x4 so far up their butt it's coming out their ears.. a group who loves to walk around down on the field on game day and shake hands with their assets... a group who arrives to the stadium in a limo, rides a private elevator to their owners box, and avoids any and all contact with the common folk...

ABC is reportedly looking into rebooting "Roseanne," but this time the series will be focused on Sara Gilbert.
According to TMZ, ABC is seeing if there is a possibility of "re-branding the show and focusing on" Gilbert's character, Darlene Conner, rather than Roseanne.
TMZ reports that Gilbert has been contacting her "Roseanne" cast members to see how much interest they have in a potential reboot just in case the network moves forward.
