On the field ... his play at qb ...

Is it that u didn’t like parts of his game or is it the type of O he played in and factors out of his control like the fact he didn't throw into many tight windows at all and other things like that? ...

I’m just curious ... i see a lot of things i like in his game but respect your opinion and want to know if i’m Missing something ...

If you’ve discussed it before .. sorry, i missed it ...

I posted my breakdown on him a couple of times. You even commented once when tab and I were disagreeing. You said we "were both right."

I would love to give my breakdown again, but when I try and talk football, it just leads to attacks.

I know you are asking Vers , but just wanted to throw my .02 in.

Just from what I saw he was a one read QB, I never say him drop back, scan the field and find an open target. But he did throw the ball with zip, accuracy and in good rhythm. Definitely seems to play with a lot of heart and passion and his players seem to love him. JMO

All of those guys know way more about him than I do.

However, do I have to like Baker Mayfield? And if I don't, does that make me a bad fan? And if I am a bad Brown's fan, is that really a character flaw?

I'm not going to fall into diatribe. Poster's have been declaring their like or dislike for players when I joined the board and they continue to exercise that right, more power to them. I just would like players to get a chance on the field with regular season competition before we're looking to future draft classes to fill their roster spots. I feel just as strongly about post that presume that Mayfield should start right away and dismiss Taylor's winning experience. I just believe reserving judgement until the evidence determines the answer is the best way, going forward.

Your opinion of Baker Mayfield does not make you a bad browns fan.

Fair response, but I can tell you haven't read some of the past Baker conversations.

No worries, my friend.
