I've given this issue a lot of thought and I'm not sure what remedy the left expects to be honest here.

It's a known fact that when you set a hearing date for illegals and set them free until the hearing, they, for the most part simply don't show up. Now we can debate whether holding them until they receive a hearing is the proper thing to do or not, but how else do you have them there for the hearing?

At the juncture you decide to hold the adults is where the left no longer has any tolerance. When you hold the parents, there are only two options, which the left will try to destroy you for no matter what you do.

If you keep the children with the families they will accuse the right of holding children in cages. If you send them into foster care in order to get them out of these detention centers the right is blasted for dividing families.

It seems to me the left is condoning one and only one thing without being willing to actually say it out loud. And that is, set all illegals free once you process them at the border full well knowing they will not return for their hearing and will simply blend into the nation adding an even larger illegal immigrant number within our society.

In other words, take zero action to try to stem the tide of illegal immigration. That's just not going to fly.

Gary Kaltbaum reminded viewers of "Cavuto Live" of then-Sen. Barack Obama's views on illegal immigration, as critics of President Trump continue to lash out despite his signing of an executive order to keep migrant families together.

Kaltbaum, a Fox Business Network contributor, referenced a quote from Obama during a news conference on immigration reform in 2005.

"We simply cannot allow people to pour into the United States undetected, undocumented, unchecked and circumventing the line of people who are waiting patiently, diligently and lawfully to become immigrants in this country," Obama had said.

"He sounds like Donald Trump," Kaltbaum said Saturday.

Mexican National Arrested for Attempted Human Smuggling

YUMA, Ariz. – Yuma Sector Border Patrol agents assigned to the Interstate 8 Immigration Checkpoint near Wellton arrested a Mexican national illegally present in the United States after he attempted to smuggle two illegal aliens Monday.

At approximately 9:26 a.m., Wellton Station agents referred a white Ford Fusion to the secondary inspection area after a Border Patrol K-9 in the primary inspection lane positively alerted to an odor it was trained to detect. After a subsequent search of the vehicle, agents discovered two male subjects lying on the rear passenger floorboard. Both subjects were determined to be in the United States illegally.

The driver, a 31-year-old male residing in Bakersfield, California, was processed for alien smuggling. The illegal aliens were charged with re-entry of removed aliens, and the vehicle was seized.

Federal law allows agents to charge individuals by complaint, a method that allows the filing of criminal activity charges without inferring guilt. An individual is presumed innocent unless or until competent evidence is presented to a jury that establishes guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.

Child smuggler arrested in the Rio Grande Valley

FALFURRIAS, Texas – U.S. Border Patrol agents arrested a woman attempting to smuggle an unaccompanied. Agents foil child smuggler at checkpoint child past the checkpoint.

On Saturday, June 23, agents assigned to the Falfurrias Checkpoint referred a 2013 Dodge Durango to the secondary inspection area to further inspect documents presented. The driver, a United States citizen, claimed the documents were birth certificates for both of her children in the vehicle. It was later discovered that one of the children, an eight year old Honduran national, is an undocumented alien who was not related to the driver, or the other child. The driver was placed under arrest.

“It is truly concerning when a child is encountered unaccompanied in the hands of a smuggler,” said Chief Patrol Agent Manuel Padilla, Jr. “It is equally frustrating when a smuggler uses their juvenile child as an accessory to commit such a crime.”

This case is currently under investigation.

The Rio Grande Valley Sector currently has multiple campaigns focused on rescues and danger awareness, such as “Operation Big Rig” and “No Se Arriesgue” to combat smuggling and ultimately save lives.

Health and Human Services Secretary Alex Azar said the government will meet court deadlines -- with the help of DNA testing -- to reunite children who were separated from their undocumented parents by immigration authorities. But reunited families may well remain in the custody of immigration authorities.

Azar told reporters on Thursday that officials have identified "under 3,000" children potentially separated from parents. He said DNA testing is being used to speed up matching parents and children.

About 100 of the children separated from their parents are under 5 years old, Azar said. A federal judge in California has ordered the youngest children reunited by Tuesday and the rest before the end of this month.

"HHS is continuing to work overtime to connect minors with verified parents within the constraints provided by the court," Azar said.

The government has more than 230 people working to match children with their parents.

Meanwhile, the Department of Homeland Security said Thursday that in June, there were 18 percent fewer "apprehensions and inadmissibles" along the border compared to the previous month.

Man wanted in kidnappings, rapes of Ohio teen girls is arrested; 2 suspects on the loose

One of the three men wanted for the alleged rape and kidnapping of two teen girls in Ohio has been arrested as a manhunt, which now includes U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), continues for the two other suspects.

David Ramos Contreras, 27, of Mexico, was taken into custody Thursday by the U.S. Marshals Service in Lubbock, Texas, Fox 8 reported. He was reportedly found hiding under a bed, although the exact location wasn't immediately clear.

Contreras, who was reportedly deported from the U.S. in October 2017, will be extradited back to Ohio to face charges.

Contreras, along with Arnulfo Ramos and Juan Garcias Rios Adiel, 19, were sought by Bowling Green Police after two sisters — ages 13 and 14 — reported on June 28 that the trio, along with a fourth suspect, Simon Juan Thomas, kidnapped and raped them.

Thomas, 24, of Guatemala, was arrested June 29 and charged with unlawful sexual conduct with a minor.

The girls, who WTOL reported were staying at a Days Inn in Bowling Green — where the four men were also reportedly staying — were rushed to the hospital for treatment after the alleged attack, and emergency room staff alerted police.

The U.S. Marshals Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force and Bowling Green Police are still searching for Ramos and Adiel, who previously lived in Texas and Florida, respectively.

You keep posting about Mexican children...a lot of crime involving Mexicans Illegally crossing the boarder.

Crimes by illegals is way lower than those by citizens on a per capita basis. And what is happening to those kids is horrific.

Not saying that rape is not horrific too.
