Does anyone know what Bonds Rookie card is really worth?
I don't think cards are nearly as valuable as they used to be but I also don't collect them anymore. That was something I did as a kid. Too bad I don't still have some of them.

Thanks Ppe I just asked the kind of stupid question that pisses me off when others do it. I know name calling isn't allowed but I'm calling myself plenty of them right now.

If I have one, I will mail it to you and pay the postage. It will be useless once he's indicted.

Don't believe there ever was an "original" of such a card; maybe a reprint in new issues,...???

Even as the #1 and very proud to say ... self proclaimed #1 Bonds hater, this thread is embarrassing to those of us in Bonds hater nation. Not only is this the 1,000th time this picture has been posted on this board, and others. It's the border of the Topps 2nd year Barry Bonds card, not the rookie.

The 87 topps is also his rookie card. That is a 86 traded/rookie card you posted.

In the business, there is usually only one rookie card. Either the 86 is the card or it ain't. Doesn't matter if it's a traded/rookie. And it doesn't have anything to do with when you played . I.E. Jim Brown's rookie card is a 58 Topps. He was a rookie in 57. It's a little different today; they puke your card out as soon as you hit .300 in "A" ball.

Bonds had a card in the 1986 Topps Traded set, a small set that was sold near the end of the season, but 1987 was the first year he was in the full set so this is generally considered his rookie card.
