Only by his denial. He just grilled Rosenstein for not knowing what all 1500 of employees are doing, saying that Rod was the boss and should take accountability. Now he denies ever knowing about his friend molesting his wrestlers, despite 4 of them saying they told him about this explicitly.

I've seen you post this more than once. Yet I haven't seen you ask where it stops with Republicans? In case you've missed it, they're just as bad.

I've asked it plenty of times.. you just don't get all upset and respond when I post things you agree with.

Plus, CHS is left leaning so I wouldn't ask him to comment on the midset of the right..

I lean so far left, I'm laying down. It's fine to call me a commie. Just please don't make me comment on Obama's legacy. Or Killary's or her supporters. They're all so fake.

Jim Jordan’s Accusers Have A Sketchy History, Raising Questions About Their ‘Authenticity’

Nice job of cherry picking by the daily caller. I think it's good to report on all the facts, and on one hand reporting that there is a sketchy history of two accusers is relevant. But the DC makes no mention of the other 3 accusers (there are five to date) including former UFC Mark Coleman.

Too bad they are all so sketchy... rolleyes

The right is not going to eat one of their own over this though, not with Trump out at rallies taking swipes at #MeToo.

November is going to be very telling. It will definitely be a referendum on Trump, his brand of lying politics, the immigrant family separations, and rather or not these sorts of things are acceptable in politics now.

A decade ago and he would have been forced to step down by the GOP the day after the story broke.

Do you seriously think that anyone cares about this D-list wannabe?

Most people have forgotten all about her, now that her career is in tatters.

Man, you really had to dig around in the archives to come up with this one...

That's a pretty damn effective ad right there! And if your mental make up is predisposed to crapping your pants over the slightest resistance or change, an ad like that might make you be willing to give up your human decency and freedom to cower under the coat tails of an authoritarian strongman.

Yep, that's a pretty damn effective ad right there!

The advert shows the worst of the Left... I am sure it will appeal to many regardless of how fringe or otherwise the folks in it are. On the other hand a video of Trump spouting off randomly about a slew of stuff in a knee jerk reaction to whatever thought flashes through his brain after he got done watching Fox - that'd probably scare or appeal to just as many people .... and we won't be better off because of either. . . While Europe gets to send up a giant baby Trump Balloon as an effective display of their contempt for Trump - the people of the US need to actually find a way forward. I haven't seen any real leadership on the left or the right since Trump took office, I don't know where it's going to come from either.

The left’s personal destruction machine turns its focus on Jim Jordan

By Thomas Lifson

Jim Jordan has been one of the most effective investigators in pursuing the cabal that weaponized the FBI and intelligence agencies to fight the candidacy and then the presidency of Donald Trump. Rather than answer him with facts and documents, the left is out to destroy him, which tells anyone paying attention that he is on to something.
This campaign began to tar him with scandal, no matter how far-fetched. George Rasley explains at Conservative HQ:

NBC News published an article on Tuesday, quoting Mike DiSabato and Dunyasha Yetts, two former Ohio State University wrestlers, claiming that when Jim Jordan worked as assistant wrestling coach at OSU, he ignored sexual abuse carried out by a university physician named Richard Strauss. ...

Jordan, a two-time NCAA wrestling champion, denied back in April that he knew about Strauss's alleged activities. But Yetts told NBC News that Jordan was either a "liar" or taking part in a cover-up of the abuse. DiSabato called Jordan a "coward."

Jordan, a leading House conservative and candidate for Speaker, has vehemently denied the allegations, saying that he was never told of sexual abuse against athletes during his stint at OSU, which stretched from 1986 to 1994. He said he would have taken action had he known about any abuse by Strauss, who killed himself in 2005. ...

And interestingly enough, looking through the articles about the allegations you can't find any mention of head coach Russ Hellickson's name, who would have been the logical person to whom allegations of abuse should have been reported, if they occurred.

Chuck Ross of the Daily Caller checked out the bona fides of the two accusers and found ample reason to doubt their integrity:

One accuser, Mike DiSabato, is also being accused of bullying the widow of a Marine over a memorial fund set up in her husband's name.

DiSabato is also facing a defamation lawsuit.
The other accuser, Dunyasha Yetts, served prison time for a $1.8-million fraud scheme

Further tainting the charges is the involvement of Perkins Coie, which, as Paul Mirengoff of Powerline points out, is:
... the Seattle-based operation that served as the go-between between Hillary Clinton's campaign and Fusion/GPS, as they colluded with Russians to put together the phony dossier for use against Donald Trump.

That caper is only part of the law firm's longstanding relationship with Democrats and the left. To cite just one example, Perkins, Coie helped inflict Al Franken on the nation when, quite likely via voter fraud, he became a U.S. Senator.

Given their penchant for committing fraud and thuggery, the two Jordan accusers could use all the fancy legal representation they can get. But Perkins, Coie's representation of the two isn't about Yates and DiSabato, it's about nailing Jim Jordan.

The firm's presence is a sure sign that the left has undertaken a concerted effort to bring Jim Jordan down, and that the sudden emergence of allegations centering on events from at least 25 years ago has nothing to do with what happened (or didn't happen) back then. This is the Jim Jordan equivalent of the Trump dossier.

Yesterday, Rep. Jordan appeared on Special Report with Bret Baier and faced an intense grilling (entire video embedded below). As Richard Baehr points out, he lost a nephew in a car accident the day before, which makes it all the more amazing that he would agree to an extended (12-minute) appearance. Not the action of man with something to hide.

Of course, the effort here is to raise the specter of Joe Paterno ignoring reports of homosexual assaults by his assistant. But Paterno had a motive: protecting his legacy. Jordan, a lowly assistant coach, had no such motives for a cover-up, and in fact, had he known, he could have profited politically by exposing the misconduct if he was already planning his entry into politics.

Here is the Fox News interview. Judge for yourself whether Jordan looks innocent.

I think we are going to see a changing of the guard in liberal/democrat politics. I see the more progressive younger candidates winning in 2018-2024... by then the old guard establishment will all be gone or the minority on the left. JMHO

And as a result, you will lose votes from those in the middle and further go backwards in political power. Trying to appease only your base will backfire like nothing you've ever seen.

I'm not sure I agree. I used to agree 100% with this view. But I'm increasingly of the view that if the democrats keep peddling out the status quo they are finished. The Nancy Pelosi's and Chuck Schumers of the party need to step aside for some new faces and new ideas.

The main reason I think they have to adjust their posturing is because Trump won the 2016 election by largely catering to his base. It's why his approval ratings have languished in the 30s and 40s but will not go lower. He is doing exactly what his base wants him to do. If democrats don't find a base of their own, they will be left with nothing. Reading the tea leaves, I don't think moving farther left is of itself a losing strategy. At the very least, it's a better idea than the current losing strategy of saying vote for Chuck and Nancy.

Six Former Ohio State Wrestling Coaches Defend Jim Jordan: “None of Us Saw or Heard of Abuse of Ohio State Wrestlers”

By D.J. Byrnes

July 9, 2018

Six former Ohio State wrestling coached issued a statement Monday defending United States Congressman and former Buckeye assistant Jim Jordan against allegations he turned a blind eye to rampant sexual abuse committed by then-team doctor Richard Strauss.

"What has been said about Jim Jordan is absolutely wrong," the statement read. "We all worked on the wrestling coaching staff during Jim's tenure at The Ohio State University. None of us saw or heard of abuse of OSU wrestlers. The well-being of student-athletes was all of our concern. If we had heard of any abuse, we would have spoken up."

Signees:

Russ Hellickson, former head coach
Dave Ruckman, former assistant coach
Rex Holman, former assistant coach
Ken Chertow, former assistant coach
Myron Kharchilava, former assistant coach
Kenny Ramsey Jr., former assistant coach

Seven former wrestlers accuse Jordan of knowing about the abuse, with the latest being David Range, who wrestled under Jordan in the late 1980s.

So you know for a fact Jordan knew? PLEASE save everyone the headache real quick. Just submit your evidence to the local news station and this new circus act can be over with.

I didn't say that at all. However, someone at Ohio State obviously knew.

I'll play your jump to conclusions game tho. What could I tell you that the 7 other witnesses haven't?
