He'd be a great compliment to Landry as well.

We'll just have to see how it goes i guess. Hopefully he's in great shape, and he's doing football drills and learning the playbook. We'll see.

Even if we just can run him on deep post routes and keep a safety high to help the corner. I'll take Josh Gordon verse most anyone one on one deep any day of the week

After hearing Hue on Hard Knocks I have a lot more confidence he’s coming back. Probably make a big entrance on the final show or something like that. I’m thinking the FO, NFL, and Josh got together to shield him. IMO this could be a genius type of move if it actually is true and it works.

It'd be nice if he was meeting the team in NY to play tonight, but being that the 1's will only get one or two series, I suppose it's moot.
Game 2 or 3 will be better.

Let's hope this is not a prediction as to how much eligibility he will have this season.

Just thought of something from "Hard Knocks", when Gordon texts Hue he says "this is my new number so you can lock this in"... Seems obvious to me that he is cutting off some people from the past. Nothing ground-breaking but a really good sign.

I think we all are looking for some magic pill (no pun intended) for believing Josh is putting himself in a good place. A bunch of little signs feels like "grasping at straws". In reality, eliminating the people that were part of a dark past is the hardest thing for addicts to do, yet, experts insist it is the most important.

We look at Josh as being selfish, because he is, but turning for help in facing your demons is the most important part of a journey to recovery. In a sense, there's no denying that Josh, the person, is doing the right thing. While we grit our teeth and shake our head because Josh - the football player - is hurting the team, he's doing what he has been told to do so that he can be part of the team.

I'm hopeful as a fan that he returns soon and can contribute in ways that only Josh Gordon can. He's let us down, time and time again. As a person, I'm happy that Josh is "with the program" on his journey to wellness. I lifetime of abuse doesn't change overnight.

From what I have seen, nothing leads me to believe that Josh sees himself has a Brown.

He's a Brown this year... but I'm betting next year very well could be another story. If I'm him, I thank the Browns and seek out a fresh start somewhere else. I always thought he'd have a Cris Carter-type career where he'd go on to be very successful with another team.

He'll be an RFA next year. If he gets himself straightened out, he'll be offered a deal that would require a 1st or 2nd round pick from another team to sign him.

I'm not saying he won't be here. But I can certainly see him not being here next year whether it be sign/trade deal or something. I believe there's mutual respect between the Browns and Gordon. Hence the reason we changed his status from did not show in training camp. Gordon is going to want to be paid... and it's very possible we sign him to a very lucrative deal, but I'm not holding my breath.

Oh, he's shown that a long-term deal doesn't make sense.

But after all this time, he owes us two years. And we should get our two years. The ball is in our court, not his. After he gives us two accrued seasons, he can go and play for whoever he wants

On hardknocks Coach Jackson said the stripes on the helmets would be earned in camp. I presume meathead will be playing without stripes on his helmet this season...

I know you are joking, but acting like the stripes actually mean anything is comical. 45 of the guys on the team already know they are not going to get cut. Do you think Myles Garrett actually thinks he has to earn his stripes? Baker Mayfield?

Landry is 100 times better than meat, He shows up, he busts ass and he WANTS IT! I am SO happy we finally have a receiver that CARES and has the work ethic to want to be even better.
