I made my picks for this weekend based on the "$5 bill seriel number method". If the number is odd or a zero, you pick the home team. If it's even, go with the away team. Simple.
We'll see how it works.

Two weeks into the random picking method has shown decent success, so I'm staying with the plan. This week, my wife punched her keypad without looking and I took the first 14 numbers to pick the winners for this week. Odd numbers + zero go for the home team and then all even numbers are for the away team. Weeks 1-4 (picks from my brain): 5/16 (31%) 8/16 (50%) 8/16 (50%) 5/14 (36%) 42% total  Weeks 5-7 (random picks): 6/14 (43%) - [Flipping a coin method] 8/13 (62%) - [$5 bill method (home weighted)] TBD/14 - [Random key pad over IM method (home weighted)] 52% Total Good luck everyone!

Dawg Michelle took week 9 picking 11 games beating out Rico & Perry County Pounders on the MNF tiebreaker. Dawgg66 lead is down to 3 games. I'm about 20 games back

I've been using a random number generator to make my picks. I've actually been doing quite well (compared to when I used my own brain).
If these were straight up picks without a line, we'd all be getting 11 correct picks or higher each week...obviously.

I have my system I use. It has got me in the top ten the last few years, but I am trying a few tweeks to the system this year On the bright side there are a lot of us making the so called experts look bad since we have picked better than them for a few years in a row.
