Is it possible? Is Josh clean, and ready to go? The whole story or none story, seems fishy, but whatever, if he’s healthy, wealthy, happy and ready to go...let’s roll. I’m in.

If Josh Gordon is good to go we are a completely different team to try and defend.
My Butch Davis gut feeling tells me we cannot count on Gordon. So I am not.

ready to go...let’s roll. It's probably not wise to use that phrase around a Josh Gordon thread.

Every QB we've had has forced the ball to him even when he wasn't open. Let's hope even if he gets on the field that doesn't happen.

So .... the exciting Josh news ... on a thread with a bunch of replies ...... is no news.

That would look a lot cooler if it had been posted from a room in Berea.

The Instagram picture looked like a werewolf holding a Browns' helmet in front of its face. I think the werewolf was wearing a jersey (not a Browns jersey) with #12 on it. I wonder if this means Josh thinks he's a werewolf, because I hate to tell you Josh, but that's another problem.

looks like a Browns jersey to me... werewolf putting on his helmet. Alpha Dog getting ready to do battle; suiting up? He may well be about to show up?

for whatever reason, Daryl Ruiter just tweeted that he doesn't expect Gordon back for week 1

I was a huge Josh fan, but now I wish he would just go away. This act is old. If he is better and can work out in Florida, come to camp. IMO, all he is trying to do is sell shirts and hoodies. Show up or shut up
RIP, Jim

he's a beat writer for the Browns; talking about Gordon not being here for week 1

It really sucks that the team has to deal w/the uncertainty of Josh Gordon and all his drama.

I believe this is accurate and I'm not sure why anyone would be surprised by any of this. It's become an annual tradition of Browns fans. "The Josh Gordon Saga".
Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

That's why I said that the team might be better off just to cut ties with Gordon now.
I believe it was Parcells who said that ability without availability is useless. Gordon has been useless for a long time now.
What happens if we make the playoffs and Gordon has to go away for a month? We count on him to be here, but can we really count on him?

At 780,000$ a year, he's still more valuable than our last WR.
I'd like to keep him at least through the current accrued season
Don't plan on him being here. But if he is, he's better than our worst receiver

The problem is when you start relying on an unreliable person. Josh has been unreliable for years and l don't see that changing. Move on, bring in Dez, and/or another receiver, and allow Higgins to assume a bigger role.
It is stupid to count on Gordon.

I am not saying we should cut Gordon. I just think it's a shame the "team" has to deal w/his constant drama.

It really sucks that the team has to deal w/the uncertainty of Josh Gordon and all his drama. Whose fault is that, that the Browns have to deal with Gordon's drama? The easy answer is that it is Gordon's fault. But after a while, it ceases to be Gordon's fault and it becomes the Browns' fault. The Browns are still a clownshow. They have chosen, choose now, and will continue to choose to deal with Gordon's drama. The Browns knowingly and willfully choose to let a player defecate all over them, year after year after year. Why? Because the Browns have no pride and no backbone. They are so pathetic and desperate that they will let a player do that to them. Real teams cut players like Gordon and move on. The Browns, clownshow extraordinaire, do what Browns do. (P.S. Folks, be happy that I stayed off that "Optimism" thread, because I would have gone full tilt Debbie Downer and ruined it for everybody. ;-)

Hey, even if you expect six wins and think the team is on the right track that isn't enough to qualify as optimistic. Some of those guys are on the train headed for disaster!
