Run the ball effectively.
Attack with the pass.
Bring pressure with the front 7.
How do the LB rotation work?
Cut the penalties in half.
No injuries.
I think that we'll all have similar things.

I have three really big concerns this week:
Can the QBs look as good? Can our run game look better? Can we stay healthy?
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

No injuries

What I want to see:
I want to see the OLINE produce better in the run game
I want to see Chubb when he gets a hole to actually hit
I want to see continued improvement from Higgins/Callaway
I want to see fewer penalties
I want to see the passing game hold up like what we saw last week
I want to see Baker continue to make smart plays and eyes downfield
I want to see Njoku have another big game. He was inconsistent last year
I want to see Peppers show us something. If not, we need to look at Kindred

Next week is the game where the starters will play the first half, maybe even in to the 3rd qtr, so I'liked to see Baker get at least a series with the starters. Not to create controversy, rather it seems to be the natural progression.
I want to see the run game start to come together. With 3 new QB's on the team and some new receivers it looks like the emphasis was on the passing game, and it probably should have and needed to be the focus. Now it's time to start drive blocking and creating some run lanes. It's hard for backs to get anything going when they are swarmed 2 yards behind the LOS. I saw something about Chubb gaining 28 yards after contact. He didn't gain that many in the game, so he was getting hit in the backfield on nearly every play..

I don’t really care to see a lot of running.
I’d like to see Duke in the game.
Continued effort to get Njoku the ball.
Worst team in the NFL at turnover ratio needs to get one please.

- Consistency from the defense. Seeing turnovers would be a plus.
- Better run game compared to Preseason Week 1.

I want to see continued development on both sides of the ball. I want to see a continuation of the competency we showed. I'd like to see Gordon show up and be on the sidelines, if not the field.
I want to see the OLine assert itself in the run game and open some freaking holes.
Browns is the Browns
... there goes Joe Thomas, the best there ever was in this game.

It's an awful lot of shuffling ... we just don't have an answer at LT

As Wiley said a few weeks ago, and took some heat for making the comment, maybe Bitonio at LG and being great is better than him swinging outside and being average. You might still be better with Bitonio staying inside and having someone less than average on the outside. Replacing Joe isn't going to happen if you expect similar results. You don't replace a LT like that. We may never have one as good as Joe. They come around maybe every 10 years or so, and you have to be the team in position to draft him. The odds are fairly slim that everything matches up.

j/c: I think the OL is in a state of flux. Thus, I believe we are trying different combinations and moving guys around at certain positions.
I think that is just as it should be. I'd rather us experiment now than during the midst of the season.
It would have been great had Coleman worked out at LT. It will be great if Robinson works out at LT.
I have no proof, but I have a hunch it'll be Bitonio at LT to open the season. And I wouldn't rule out Drango at LG.

Maybe I think whomever they play at whatever position on the OL doesn't really matter much in the overall scheme of things.

I guess the rotation at LT is something to monitor closely now. I don't think Robinson is the answer, but he might have to be?

NO INJURIES - Cliche but important. On either team, the Bills are the team I route for when the Browns are out, including the 5 years we didn't exist)
Smart Decisions - As they said on CBD, competent QB play in Cleveland feels like such a treat. I don't care if some of the throws are off as long as the reads are right.
Competent Run Blocking - Even if we still only average 1 yard per carry I want to see Chubb get hit at or after the line of scrimmage, not behind like he has been.
Decent Coaching - Looking for Hue to keep improving at head coaching basics like time management and relationship management.
My bar for preseason is EXTREMELY low. Winning that week 1 game vs Steelers is all I care about.

I'd kind of like to see Hyde for a few series in the next few weeks ... and see Chubb of course. Just to see who looks better (or if it's just the sucking OL)

Overall Improvement.
Baker get more time with the starters like Ballpeen posted.
Chubb run more aggressively and confidently.
More sustained, long drives and less 3 and outs.
A better pass rush.
And of course no injuries.

Been busy and just got done watching a replay of the Giants game. Based on what I saw in that game, I want to see Robinson working with the #1s at LT and Bitonio moved back to LG.
That should help to strengthen our run game on the left side as well as provide good pass blocking on the blind side. Need to get the best OLine on the field together and working together to help that unit gel ASAP.

It's a shame Corbett is basically a non-factor in this scenario.

#Browns Hue Jackson said starters, as expected, will play more Friday night against the Bills, probably a quarter. Baker Mayfield will follow Tyrod Taylor, but Hue Jackson said Drew Stanton will definitely play https://twitter.com/ScottPetrak/status/1029830671651549185

As bad as things have been for years, can you even imagine how bad they would have been without Joe. Shudder to think 0-32 instead of 1-31? I would like to see Tyrod Taylor have a good performance against the team that knows him better than any other team. I think Taylor is our best QB since DA's 2007 season, and maybe a couple Hoyer games in 2014. If he does well, and plays the entire season as starter, it means we won at least 7 games this year. I'm tired of the losing ... 7-9, 8-8 is what I'm hoping for, and I think the only way that happens is if Taylor does well.
