99% of the country who aren't idiots: "The parade is stupid"

Trump: "im only cancelling the parade cause the phoney DC locals"

Willit: "WHY IS EVERYONE BEING SO MEAN TO TRUMP! LEAVE HIM ALONE!"

Mattis didn't want to tell you guys the real reason, but I will.

I heard earlier this morning that the parade that isn't going to happen was originally intended to take place on Nov 10.

Nov 10th is also the Marine Corps Birthday (the sole reason Novemeber 10th exists). You can't have a military parade without the Marines and you can't actually expect Marines to be sober on their birthday.

Drunk Marines and expensive military equipment don't mix.

Why would I need to "go after him" ohhhhh scary....

unlike you and the other puppets with Obama, I can disagree with a subject and not blindly follow agree with everything he has done.

I have stated I couldn't care less about a parade in the past. I wouldn't do it, if they do that's their prerogative, no need to keep commenting on it or trying to make a mountain out of a mole hill. It is what it is. But your pure hate wont allow to see your own hypocrisy.

You didn't want a parade because it was too expensive. Now trump is saying its too expensive, and your trying to bash him for not doing it, its rather hilarious to watch you try to squirm from agreeing with his decision.

marines have an odd sense of humor.

downrange, while everybody has armored vehicles and MRAPs, the marines like to march along the side of the roads, kicking trash over to find IED's. when a marine kicked an IED and it exploded, the other marines went "hey, we found one!"

So there was this, in my fb feed today:

THIS

I’m sure the vast majority of our boughs would rather see that $92m divyed up in their paychecks.

That much money just to have our military walk down the street past a grand stand is not wise.

Betcha $5 bucks we’ll see tweets about how some foreign dictator now wants to behave after seeing the parade.

catfight BTW I've heard prosecutors have all of Trumps tax returns back to 2009. Collected when Cohen was busted. When the IRS catches all his tax frauds maybe they can collect enough from Trump to have his parade and march him straight to prison.

Why am I not surprised that you're fluent in German? Is that the language you and Trump communicate in?

Vhat Vould be Mother Russian, sir. smile

Spent some time at Parris Island, **not as a recruit** - spent a week there in MCJROTC for a field trip. It was actually cool, my bother WAS in Basic while I was there on our field trip - I was not able to see him though - I was at least hoping we would see each other in passing or something, but never did.

Any who, in the program we spent a lot of time on Marine Corps history. Learning about battles, the inspirations behind the dress blues and the blood stripes, the sword, Chesty Puller, etc.

You mean the one that’s so far obtained 5 guilty pleas and 17 indictments?
Just because you don’t like it doesn’t mean it’s a waste of money or time.

I hope we do have a parade next year.

And the cost is very low.

And it celebrates our vets.

And it celebrates Trump's impeachment.

You mean the investigation that has actually been productive in terms of indictments and finding Russians who interfered in our elections?

Yet you had no issue spending all that money investigating Hillary for much longer which netted nothing. Oh the hypocrisy of it all. lmao

I wouldn't say it resulted in nothing. Its not my fault our government, from the FBI to the justice department is filled with certain corrupt individuals. Regardless, there needs to be someone else overseeing what the special counsel is doing.

Think about this for a second. All the corrupt activity that was discovered in the FBI and DOJ, do you think this ever would have been uncovered if Hillary had won the election? The real answer is nope.

So you are projecting what would have or may have happened had the election turned out different. And I have no clue what you mean about corruption. Those are nothing more than wild accusations with nothing to back them up.

The only thing I have seen is two people discussing what their politics are in private texts. According to what's being used as evidence it seems no democrat should be a member of the CIA or the FBI when a republican is president and no republican should belong to either when a democrat is president.

Because God help you if you have different beliefs than those in power.

Weird. If someone is going after Trump, or republicans, you call their conversations 'private', even though they DO matter.

Yet, anything related to Trump, or a republican that was 'private', is considered grounds for accusations, impeachment, etc.

And before you say "president" vs 'private citizens', understand, the 2 you are defending here worked for the gov't. The FBI, as a matter of fact.

And Omarossa? Her recordings were private, as well. Do you feel the same on that situation? Or is it 'different'?

No one cares that Trump is having private conversations or what he says in them. They care about the policy and plan for America.

If Omarossa had a tape of Trump talking about how much he loved McDonalds and the sweet music of Beethoven, no one would care. Well, I'm sure the 24/7 media will care, because that's their job. They will feed you needless information for 24 hours. But no one would ever really care.

Just like no one should care what jokes two FBI agents made to each other during their affair.

So you're saying anyone that works for the government can't have political leanings different that the one who is president? They can't say anything that supports a different candidate? They can't send a text to someone that supports the other party without being accused of corruption?

Because that's the point here to me. They were texts between two people. It wasn't public statements to undermine the president, which at that time wasn't even the president.

Let's carry that one step further. Are you saying they can't publicly state their disagreements with a sitting president without losing their job or being considered corrupt?

Because that's what's going on right now. People are being treated in a manner like never before having their security clearances taken from them because they speak out against the president.

Sadly, it's made the so called 'main stream media' go after Trump for - get this: Fast food.

And everything else.

So, Oma's recordings: Were they about policy? Or her trying to frame someone? Weird how she started recording, secretly, about as soon as she got hired on the campaign. Did she have an end goal in mind way back then? It could certainly appear so, couldn't it?

These FBI employees - you know, employees of the gov't, that, while having an affair (I thought lib's hated affairs? Cheaters. Or, is it only Trump that gets that treatment?) ....but, these federal gov't. employees that are charged with, you know, being FBI agents, talking about how they'll work to make sure trump isn't elected........and in a position to possibly do so....that doesn't matter?

No need to even respond, because truthfully, here's what it boils down to: Depends on what 'side' you're on.

Dem's/libs would over look most stuff if hillary had been elected and would defend her on whatever grounds they could. Cons, repubs would attack her on whatever grounds they could.

It really IS that simple.

Your first paragraph: No, that isn't what I'm saying. I understand that, even if you work for the gov't., you are absolutely entitled to your political belief's.

However, when your job involves investigating the gov't., their damn well shouldn't be texts and conversations about you attempting to take a certain candidate down.

When did they say they were in a position to do so? They said "We will stop him". Pretty sure that's what most voters that were voting Dem felt. Sometimes context is everything and people are really reaching on what that meant to suit an agenda.

Check my post above. Everyone who opposed Trump thought he wouldn't be elected. They thought the Democrats and their votes would stop him. Not that they as individuals would stop him. I mean you can try to present it the way you are doing, but that takes a leap of faith to come to that conclusion.

Agenda.

Yup. You're right. What you're missing is, it goes both ways. I stated so, in many more words, in an earlier post.

Hey, pit, would you, or some others on here, feel comfortable with me being a ref on Dawgtalkers? (I'm not by the way. Contrary to what 1 person keeps saying).

I ask that, because you know my 'take' on things. Would I be able to be fair? I give myself tons of credit - but boy, that would be a tough question for me to answer.

Not even the greatest President in America's history is above the 24/7 News channel treatment.

Maybe this means we should never view 24/7 news.

Omarossa's recording are about herself. Like any good reality TV star, they must make themselves the center of attention. She did a good job at this. Donald Trump the reality TV show producer, would be very proud. The real question is who didn't see this coming?

Also, the FBI agents should be investigated if they did indeed make Trump un-electable. However, since Trump was elected, it leads me to believe that they didn't enact a plan that would make DJT not be the President. However, if they did, then put them in the gulag, or whatever you Cons want. Until then, you're just trying to prosecute an offhanded joke.

Also, if you're looking for a lib scoreboard here it is:

McDonalds - bad
FBI - Bad
CIA - Even worse
Donald Trump - Gigantic moron. Best thing for Democrats.
Cheating - Bad.
Staying in a relationship you're not happy about and wish to leave - not nearly as bad as cheating, but still bad.
Poupon mustard - Good stuff

Yes I would. No matter who the refs are here, I'm sure they lean one way or another when it comes to politics. I believe you are an honest enough of a person to follow the guidelines rather than take a personal approach.

While you're slanting the question, sure. Firstly they were opposed to him becoming president. The word "hate" is you projecting. Like I asked earlier, are you saying only republicans should work in the CIA and the FBI when a republican is president? Because that sure sounds like what you're suggesting.

So Trump was about the only person in government who wanted this parade at $12 million...

Trump supporters call it brilliant..

Trump still wanted it at $90 million...

Trump supporters double down on how brilliant it is..

Trump bows to public pressure and cancels the $90 million debacle claiming it was his idea to cancel it...

Trump supporters claim that cancelling it is the most brilliant thing ever...
