DeValve's body of work would be enough reason for me to keep him on the roster. I vote DeValve. That doesn't automatically mean Cajuste is a cut if he can make a spot on ST.
I'd probably keep devalve over cajuste ... he's shown promise during games
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."
Devalve should be cut. hes never developed into a real down the seams threat and he lacks the ability to out run lb'ers and safties. kinda, over rated.
Over Rated? He runs GREAT ROUTES, He has Great hands. He put on weight and actually got faster. Its a shame he hasn't suited up this year but I would be very dissappointed to see him released this year. I'd love us to have TWO TE out there than a FB.
I don't really get impressed with Fells that much.
jmho
Defense wins championships. Watson play your butt off! Go Browns! CHRIST HAS RISEN! GM Strong! & Stay safe everyone!
Pretty sure some of the cuts are going to upset many fans here. It’s going to be tough to watch a few of these guys on HK’s. May the best man win. May the next man up do his job!

the best ability a player can have is availability
Except Kizer ... his was tradeablity

let me rephrase... he hasnt really been able to take that next step with his game. he has the physical dimensions. but hes not a physical TE. he wont go up and out muscle for a contested ball. he goes down easy on contact his hands are good. but he fails to create consistant seperation. he doesnt sell his routes. if hes not cut thats fine. buts never gonna be better than a 2nd or 3rd TE. Fells gives you more in what Hue is trying to run on offensive a power knock you in the mouth ground game plus with your ? marks at OT..you need a true blocking TE to help hold up the Suggs Watts and Lawsons of the AFC. Devalve just cant block to save his life
I believe the cut down date is September 1st. Check back then. There aren't going to be significant cuts before that. People are just speculating on who might get cut. Nothing wrong w/that.
The team also waived WR Evan Berry, OL Kevin Bowen, DL Marcell Frazier, OL Geoff Gray and K Ross Martin. In addition, TE Julian Allen was released from injured reserve.

Would anyone think we should keep Cajuste if we weren't on Hard Knocks?
Nope. But I’m a sucker for the feel good Cinderella stories. I demand he makes the roster!

Zane Gonzalez has won the Browns' kicking job for 2018.
Gonzalez was battling Ross Martin, who was waived on Tuesday. The No. 224 overall pick of last year's draft, Gonzalez didn't have much to do for his 0-16 club, attempting just 20 field goals all season. He converted only 15 of them. That's a 75 percent rate in a league where 80 is generally considered the "acceptable" threshold. The Browns also parted ways with WR Evan Berry, OL Kevin Bowen, DL Marcell Frazier, OL Geoff Gray and TE Julian Allen.

Unfortunately, I would say no. The human aspect kicks in and you see the player and the human.
It's the same thing whenever I preach about Orchard and needing cut/not making the 53. I dislike him on the field, and always KNEW he was a true family guy and Hard Knocks amplified that feeling. His kids are adorable.
At the end of the day, human emotion/association aside, may the best players make the roster because they're that, the best player.
I wish they would cut #41 (Jordan). I think he is terrible.
Didn't he come in, in place of Ward? (when he hurt his back) I thought that he played OK. (though I'd have to go back and check again to be sure)
