The #Giants and WR Odell Beckham Jr have agreed to terms on a 5-year extension worth a whopping $95M, source said. He gets the highest guarantee ever for a WR at $65M and averages $20M over the first 3 years. Nice job by the #NYG and agent Zeke Sandhu getting this done. Win/win💰

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

WR's just aren't worth that much.

Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

if that's what he got, I wonder what he was asking?

Cost of doing business in the NFL. They are lucky he didn’t say “forget it” and test free agency.

I read he was asking for 20m/year average. Almost got it.

They have probably 10 times the money in New York as other markets, so payging double the price for every contract is just old hat for them.

On the opposite side of the spectrum, I'm sure most NYG fans are happy to see it officially happen. One of, if not thee, best WR in the game.

He is the best WR in the game. AB is rightfully claimed as such because he has the track record and current production. Beckham is the toughest matchup in the entire league at WR. Which makes him the best game to game IMO.

I remember watching film on.....Zach Mettenberger because some DTers LOVED him....probably the same guys who love Josh Allen LOL....I remember Jarvis Landry flashing all over the field and was underwhelmed by Odell.....this was the pick that put the light bulb on in my head that PROJECTIONS are the be all end all in the draft....HOW DO THEY PROJECT to the next level is THE most important question.

Yeah, think about having OBJ and Landry on the same team in college

I’d go with

1a. AB
1b. Hop
3, 3 or 4 guys could go here IMO ... OBJ would be one of them

Don't see how... they all have same salary cap... it's not baseball... its rue in baseball that New York can pay whatever they want bescauss there's no cap and they can charge higher prices at the game...

They have the money, but this isn't basebal, or basketball which has really strange rules....the NFL cap has to be met.

Salary cap is the same for all teams ... they're going "all in" the next 2-3 years

That is how it was designed. Rather than rooks getting the 50 mil contracts, now the vets get the cash.

Apparently they are thinking they can have another SB run with Eli, because they certainly can't think that with Davis Webb. Or maybe they have a deal cooking for Bridgewater, or another veteran QB. Can't really believe the Jets would trade with the Giants, though.

I think Diam knows this and that has been his point all along to the guys who criticize Dorsey for paying Landry big dollars.

No they would rather have the money on the owners pocket...

Off course they like it, he's making much less money than JG or Kirk Cousins, or Eli....

Speaking of... a guy walks into a doctor's office and says, "Doc, I've got a piece of lettuce sticking out of my ass!" The doctor takes a look and says, "Oh, that's just the tip of the iceberg."
