TT and Ward injuries both looked really bad. We finally got some semblance of good fortune there.

OMG!!! Hue was so freaking stupid for putting him back into the game [pssttt, he almost certainly had medical clearance.]

Moving on from the nonsense of Memphis and device. All the news looks pretty good, other than Avery.

I think we really need Ward this year. I'm sure they will be careful w/him. He is an extremely important piece to our team.

I never will forget after two AFC Conference finals, Ryan goes and puts in Sanchez, starting QB, in the 4th qtr vs. NJ rivals Giants for some Preseason Glory of GAME #4 and gets Sanchez seriously hurt to lose him for the season and to have Sanchez never to look the same again.

smh, now that was STUPID

Man accused of sexual assault at apartment of Browns players
Published: August 28, 2018 - 8:47 PM | Updated: August 28, 2018 - 9:19 PM

Beacon Journal/Ohio.com

BEREA: A 22-year-old woman accused Kashwayne Nelson of sexually assaulting her early Saturday morning in the apartment where Browns players Rashard Higgins and David Njoku live at the Metropolitan at The 9 in downtown Cleveland, according to a police report obtained Tuesday by the Beacon Journal/Ohio.com.

Police interviewed Higgins and Njoku. Neither player is accused of wrongdoing.

The woman told police after she fell asleep in Higgins’ bed, she woke up and thought he was having sex with Higgins, only to discover it was Nelson when she heard his voice, according to the police report. She demanded he turn on the lights. She then tried to call police, but Nelson pulled the phone away from her ear and pulled her hair. She left the apartment, called 911 and met police outside the hotel.

Higgins told police he had been with the woman but walked out of the apartment and went downstairs because he couldn’t sleep, per the police report. That’s when Nelson is accused of sneaking into Higgins’ bedroom and having sex with the woman.

Njoku told police he had been in his bedroom the entire night and didn’t hang out with anyone. Njoku also identified Nelson as his friend. Nelson lives in the apartment, according to the police report.

The officers arrested Nelson on suspicion of rape and charged him with obstructing justice after he told police he gave them fake identification.

The woman told investigators she didn’t want to prosecute, Cleveland police spokeswoman Sgt. Jennifer Ciaccia said.

A Browns spokesman said the team was made aware of the incident.

“Rashard immediately notified us of the situation and he and David fully cooperated with the police while being interviewed,” the spokesman said in a statement. “While our players were not the target of any allegations involving illegal activity, they understand the seriousness of the situation and we have expressed our concerns regarding the matter. They will continue to cooperate with the authorities as needed.”

it seems like there's always something with this team (even if everyone claims there's nothing)

The only reason to have a fake ID is to commit hide from a crime, so this guy's shady no matter what. People are judged by who they hang with, and this isn't a good look for the team. If what the girl says is true, she was raped in Higgins/Njoku's apartment.

Glad it doesn't really involve our players first hand. Njoku is like a Boy Scout. This guy wasn't a friend of choice but a guy from their complex that they have befriended or hang out with. If he did what he did. He deserves what he will get. So so glad its not directly related to one of ours!

Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

I understand two guys from the team sharing an apartment, but why do you even have some other dude living there as well?

This is a strange story all the way around.

Hundely looked about like Kizer last season, maybe a tad better because of experience. I know Packer fans were not happy with him

That about sums it up.

I feel terrible for NFL players when their friends do something that casts them in a negative light.

Sounds like Hollywood and Njoku aren't in any trouble what-so-ever, but it still isn't a good look, especially knowing that Hollywood and Njoku are both highly regarded as character guys.

On the bright side, great to see they immediately informed the Browns, fully co-operated with the police and are cleared of any wrongdoing.

Hue was asked about Randall because Mary Kay saw him running around before the game, he said he's fine!

Like Coley, this is big news.
