I don't blame U for bein' mad about this - EA's slogan is "If it's in the game, it's in the game", right? Since when have the Browns worn brown pants?? I've been watching them 36 years and have never seen that. I'm no lawyer, but that's false advertising in my book.

Must just be a console thing. For PC I have every Jersey color combo you could imagine

I think I'll do that right now. Is it possible in any way to make them develop a patch or a roster update that changes this?

I have another complaint, this time it's about the roster. Not to overlook the details, but where the hell is Dorsey?
They put Anderson in instead,lmao.
I guess that will change with the roster update, huh.

Speaking of roster updates, they made one this weekend. Some changes, I've heard it's different for 360/PS3 but for Wii this is how it goes...
Quinn is up from a 77 to a 78 (which believe it or not really helps)
Anderson is up to a 76
Peek is in the game at a 72
Steptoe is in the game now and is ahead of Wilson
Wimbley is up to an 87 from an 86
Bentley is down to an 88 from a 90
That's all I really saw, nothing too big, I'm assuming the rosters will change again after the last preseason game/before the season as well.

I gave up on Madden and turned it in and put that money towards an actual game (Halo 3).
Madden was the biggest let down of the year for me.

Wow the game is 100x different on the 360 vs reg x-box. I am having a hard time with getting used to it. The stadium looks friken cool but is there a way to get different camera angles? Like I don't like playing right up close and rather be a little farther away. I just can't get used to the way it is setup.

Me too. I've played the PS3 version for almost a week, totally different from Wii.
You can't force throws downfield anymore and expect to have success...the game makes you read the D more.
I hate the fumbleitis from the computer and my own players.
It's a lot more realistic in terms of offense, the primary receiver is the primary receiver for a reason and you understand why when the other routes open up the primary route. Very cool but takes getting used to if you haven't read a defense before.
Rookie is far too easy but pro is a bit on the hard side. Haven't tried All-Pro yet cuz I'm trying to master Pro at this point. I'm starting to figure it out. It's a shame Pro's not easier or rookie's not harder cuz I can tell that people who don't play games often are gonna be frustrated with this.

wanted to bump this... anybody play online here? I think it's a good game.. havn't played a whole lot of madden the last couple years but I've still got some skills.

I've heard it resets the rosters back to default. 
I want the Cleveland Browns to be my pallbearers so they can let me down for the last time.

if you are getting an error then follow these steps...I have had the same problem today...
If you are in game, press the PS button and quit the game before following these steps.
1. Cycle to the Game setting in the PS3 console and highlight the Game Data Utility folder and press X on the controller.
2. Highlight the Madden NFL 08 file and press the Triangle button.
3. Choose to Delete the file and then restart the game. (Note that this only remove the update and not your saved data.)
Please note that you should not attempt to go online until the update is fixed, as this will prompt you to reinstall the update which is causing the error. I'll update this post with more information as it is available.

Did anyone else notice that Peek is set as a DE and you cannot change him to a OLB? They had it right wiht the last update, what happened? And he's not even a choice for the OLB depth chart, wha the?
