This isn't a cut, but a "keep" .... and a rather inspiring story:
David Tossell ‏ @David_Tossell Follow Follow @David_Tossell More Trafficked from Amsterdam as a child, abandoned on streets of London, inspired by American football, originally signed by Cowboys after 5 amateur games, @EfeObadaUK has now made the Carolina Panthers 53-man roster. Remarkable.

Yeah I don't see, even with the injury and history, that I'd think they'd cut Seth.
Hopefully Cajuste ends up making the practice squad. I know it's not official news but I truly believe that one.

In a major surprise, the Cowboys have cut Dan Bailey, the second-most accurate kicker in NFL history, in favor of Brett Maher, who has not kicked in an NFL regular-season game in his career. https://twitter.com/toddarcher/status/1035982863823511552

Too bad about Brantley. And I was rooting for Nate Orchard especially after he started turning it around after that awful half and seeing his story on Hard knocks. We were at the game when he made the pick six, practically right in front of us. Awesome play. I thought it might save his job.

Shocked to see Drango go. Actually really shocked. I think he and Dayes will get picked up quick. Both rookie Wrs made it too, Ratley and Willies.
Hopefully Cajuste will make the practice. Best luck to Nate and all else.

Ratley is not overly special.
Br. perriman waiver ravens is better than Willies, Dayes should be on the team if they are going to cut Vitale.
Who is orsen wells, I mean Orsen Charles.
Don't pass on real players???????
Every move the team makes, the Browns fans should be asking themselves, " does this move help them beat Pittsburgh?"
Can Deshaun Watson play better for the Browns, than Baker Mayfield would have? ... Now the Games count.

Orson Charles is listed at 6’3”, 257, so the idea of him sliding to FB when needed makes sense.

I literally never heard of Grace until the 4th preseason game. Gotta think he could be gone

Little surprised about Brantley, but that might be another culture thing. He'd flash early but his motor's not always running.
Looks pretty good.

Caleb Brantley is a bit of a surprise. He must have not been a team guy. Seems like effort was a problem (as it was in college)

The only thing I can think is that Charles is a blocking TE.
Cajuste can't block at all.
I would still rather have Brantley over Charles. Doubt he clears waivers.

I'm a little surprised at Bello, Brantley, Dayes, and Drango being cut. I guess Orson Charles made it as an H-back, since Vitale is gone. Wouldn't be surprised to see a him cut and a FB brought in - Jalston Fowler (FB from Alabama a couple years ago) got cut today. Wasn't he your guy, cfrs15? I remember you campaigning hard for a certain FB in the draft in recent years, but can't remember which it was.

Lawrence: Lawrence’s departure from New Orleans represents another somewhat surprising cut by the team after the former Auburn product turned in a few solid performances over the course of the four game exhibition season, but the Saints appear content with the kind of depth they already enjoy on the defensive line. The Saints had a lot of players on defense who have made plays throughout training camp practice, but Lawrence has slipped through the cracks somewhat. That was, until the preseason opener, when the defensive tackle hopeful was an important element in the overall defensive showing that helped lead the eventual comeback in that game. Lawrence had two sacks against the Jaguars, propelling himself into contention for a roster spot this fall if he could have kept it up for the rest of the summer. A former three year recruit according to the 247Sports Composite, which ranked Lawrence as the seventh best player in the state of Georgia, he did not play much in his first season with the Tigers, but showed enough in his last two years at school to earn a contract offer from the Saints last year, despite the fact that he needed surgery on a torn ACL. That would not keep the Saints from expressing their interest in him. “We felt he was athletic, explosive, and we felt like he could recover,” Saints head coach Sean Payton said of Lawrence. “In other words, he was battling an injury and we saw traits that are hard to find sometimes for defensive tackles, and it’s hard to find that position, especially after the draft.” Link

I am glad to see that Jeremiah McKinnon made the team. I saw several pick talk about him and he showed up during games.
I am pretty surprised that Brantley and Drango were cut. None of the other cuts were even 1% surprising.
My guess is that we will be claiming some edge guys on the defensive line.

so he lost the GLC and lost his job
