Why the hat? Did Haskins spurn Maryland or something? Actually he did. He was committed to MD when they fired their coach a couple years ago.. a decision that had to be made... and unfortunately Haskins decommitted and went to OSU. He would have been the best QB MD has had going back to Boomer Esiason... I don't really hate him, he's a good kid.. I'm joking.. I just wish he was at MD so I'm a little salty. And Vers thinks that anybody who doesn't like OSU is jealous... that must be the only reason... couldn't possibly be any other reason.. <rolleyes> After reading your explanation, it does sound like you're jealous. lmao I'm jealous that another team signed away a major commit from MD.. that's different than being jealous of Ohio State specifically.

I think we're on the same page here.
Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

I wonder how much we paid VMI for that win? Toledo paid VMI $375,000. Here is link with all the payouts for week 1 of college football. Intersting note, Akron U may not get their $1.17M for letting Nebraska slap them around since the game was cancelled due to weather. I think in the end, they'll at least get a portion if not all the money. College football guarantee games: A gig economy worth more than $175 million this season

DC's just being a hatter. (Sorry Excl. You have 1 too many t's. A hater is someone who hates. A hatter is someone who makes or repairs hats.) This reminds me of some graffiti I saw (often) in a housing project on the eastside when I was working. Someone had written on a yellow wall in big red letters "F&@$ all Hatters" I was left wondering if the person who wrote that had a bad experience with 'Mike The Hatter' at some point.

Man, Ed Oliver is a freaking stud. Aaron Donald part 2.
Getting him would make our defense INCREDIBLE
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Jeudy is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Tillman is flanked out wide to the right. Judkins and Ford are split in the backfield as Flacco takes the snap ... Here we go."

Omg This GA Tech game. Nobody is playing defense. They are taking turns running down the field.

Arizona is down 31-0 at half .. Kevin Sumlin's start at Zona is not optimal right now

I know Jake Fromm is good, but how long until Justin Fields is playing? With way QBs transfer these days when not playing, they have to get him on the field sooner rather than later.

Nebraska has a great run game ... or Colorado's defense cannot stop the run

It seems to me like the top few teams are WAY better than the field this year.
Georgia, Bama, OSU, Oklahoma, Clemson .. then a drop IMO

Man, I hate to see a kid get hurt. I hope their QB is OK.
Woops wrong thread. I hope that the Rutgers QB is not hurt too bad. His arm didn't look good at all.

GC. I'm me, so I want to complain!
Tempo... is no more of a descriptive word than thermometer.
If a college football announcer talks about teams playing tempo, or tempo teams, he is contextually trying to talk about teams that play at a faster pace.
He should be saying "up tempo" teams or speed of play.
Tempo is no more of a descriptive word than thermometer is a descriptive word for hot, or cold,
Tempo is a music word for how fast the music is played, if I know anything at all, and I know I don't know much.
But if you heard a weather forecaster say it's thermometer outside, you'd say to yourself, it's nonsense;
and when I hear a college football announcer talk about tempo teams, or teams playing tempo, (and he says it 5 times in a half hour) When up tempo means to play music a little faster, and slow tempo means music that is played at a little slower rate,
I also say it is nonsense.

I said it earlier, but the few top teams in the country are head and shoulders above the others (Bama, Georgia, Clemson, OSU, Oklahoma)

Terrible call by the refs on the out of the end zone touch back against A&M.
They just scored a TD and missed the 2 pt. conversion. Comes down to an onside kick .

Texas Maryland has been a great game Pretty sure what Jeshaun Jones did for Maryland has never been done before and likely will never be done again. His first 3 touches of his college career as a freshman: 1. 28 yard TD run 2. 65 yard TD catch 3. 20 yard TD throw He didn't do a whole lot vs BG. McFarland on the other hand tore us apart. Boy, Maryland was one undisciplined, sloppy and dirty team today. The Falcons were actually leading at the half. BG is not a mentally tough team. They gave up a 3rd and 22 for a touchdown in the 3rd that put Maryland ahead and just gave up after that. The Terps were much bigger, more physical and way more talented, but boy did they commit a bunch of stupid penalties.
