This is why you run it on 3rd and 1. Heck, run it again on 4th down. I like my chances killing the game there instead of going the full length of the field with a sophomore QB on the road against your nemesis. So dumb.
If they get that first down, they can run the clock almost all the way down. EVERYONE knew Rodgers would get a TD if you kicked a FG there.

Yep, that is why I said "questionable call." I get trying to "win" the game, but damn man..............the other team has Aaron Rodgers.

Anyone else notice how much better games are when the refs don't call a ton of penalties?

That's becoming the norm.... some folks said the NFL was heading toward that college model and it appears to be true. Unless you are going to straight Victory formation, a lot of teams still run their handoffs out of the gun.

I think you guys [other than Punch] are missing my point. You are running out the clock. A bad snap is much more likely if you are in the gun than if you are under center. They should have been in Victory formation.

An injured rodgers is 100 times better than a healthy kizer.
It's supposed to be hard! If it wasn't hard, everyone would do it. The hard... is what makes it great!

j/c: New Orleans got beat by Tampa Bay at home. We tied the Steelers who were 13 and 3 last year.
This won't be a trap game for the Saints. Which blows.

Peterman for Buffalo, Watson for Houston, and Jimmy G for the Niners have all looked pretty bad thus far. Why the Watson inclusion? Because he looked bad at the time I posted it.

The NFL is literally all about your QB, and last night's comeback proved it.
When picking games, if you just pick the better QB between the two teams, you'll win at least 75% of the games.
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

Interesting theory .... lets do a quick test ... sounds logical but it can’t be that simple ... or is it ... *L* Our game = 0 - 1 ... Pats/Texans = 1 - 1 Jills/Rats = 2 - 1 Fish/Titans = inclusive IMO ... Bungles/Colts - Lucas better ... 2 - 2 Broncos/Seahags = 2 - 3 Chiefs/Bolts = 2 - 4 .. Mahomes may end up better but he’s not proven it yet Eagles/Falcons = 2 - 5 .. Jags/Giants = 3 - 5 .. Eli is a shadow of his old self .. but I gave u a gift saying Bortles ... *L* Saints/Bucs = 3 - 6 ... that one should count as two losses ... *L* .. Panthers/Boys = 4 - 6 Frisco/Minni = 5 - 6 ... Jimmy needs to prove it .. 5 games last year is to small a sample .. Cousins is no slouch .. Pack/Bears = 6 - 6 Wash/Zona = 7 - 6 Not quite ...

I typically bet and/or pick games that way throughout the season, and that number will climb slowly as the year progresses. Obviously it gets tougher when you have "like" QBs (like if the Saints play the Steelers or the Browns play the Cardinals, etc)

And u do pretty well? ... guess thats a dumb question ... *L*
Do u just go by who has the better QB or does it need to be a Rodgers/Brees/Brady type ... that i could see ... but in a game that pits TT vs lets say Tanneyhill or whatever dudes name is ... *L* ...

Darnold should be interesting tonight. Detroit's D is awful, so he's got a shot.

They will struggle to win a game ...
They played the rats yesterday who know how to feast on bad QB play ... so it won’t always be that bad ... but other than shady they may not have another player on the entire O that could start on many teams ...
There O will break every offensive futility mark thats been set over the last 25 years ..
And ther gonna break Allen in the process ...
Pegula’s a GREAT GUY but he may be almost as bad as the thief when it comes to being an owner ... that franchise is being run almost as bad as ours was ...

I wonder if Rasta still has his josh allen love fest. lol.
The kid was a waste of a pick to begin with, then you put him on a horrid team - i think manziel had a better chance than he did.

That pick 6 could have been a Jets TD if he put more air under it.

Darnold is showing his inexperience in taking that sack and not throwing it away. That’s one of the things I love of Mayfield, dude knows when to chunk it into the stands.
