While Keelan Cole's catch was completely amazing, it's not even close to the OBJ catch. Thats not why i said hes really good ... it was impressive ... but i like him cause he’s big, strong, fast and has good hands ... What i saw today just confirmed what i saw last year .. IMO he’s gonna be a baller in this league ..

You've been following too much soccer. It's football. I am not a Gruden fan, but that wasn't throwing anyone under the bus. Again, it's football. We disagree on that ... i don’t like publicly humiliating players ... not my style .... Especially after week 1 ... *L* ...

I think teams are making it a point to stop Barkley ... kinda like teams wanted to shut down Manziel. His amount of hype is so high.

The Steelers lost!!! Even the refs giving Ben the touchdown when every replay showed him over the LOS couldn't help. I thought the NFL rule was some part of your body had to be hind the line. Was it always where the ball is instead? If it was the ball versus the LOS, then the replay officials straight up cheated to give the Steelers a TD. That ball was way over the line. Sure, I wasn't wearing my glasses today, but that looked way over. If you'd told me the Steelers would be 0-1-1 in week 2, I'd have questioned your sanity.

I think that the Cardinals want to know how you could have forgotten them.

Eli Manning hasn’t been good for a couple of years now and the Giants took a running back over a potential franchise QB. If Darnold, Rosen, or Allen turn out to be great this will be a disaster decision.

there are many problems with taking a RB that high in general, but when your QB is like 37 years old (and not nearly as good) there's a BIG concern.

He didn't publicly humiliate him. He brought up a fact that was about the game and wasn't a conclusion about Carr's ability as a qb.
The term "under the bus" is overused and misused. It's typically used by people who dislike a coach for one reason or another.

I dont like Chuckie ... not even a little bit ... part of the reason i dont like him .. for calling his players out publically in Oakland ...
We disagree ... i think he’s an egotistical jack ass that can’t ever accept blame ...
There was NO NEED for him to whack Carr at his post game presser and then come out after he watched the film and say he STUNK and had wr’s running wide open all day all over the field ...
IMO u adress that IN PRIVATE with the player when there going over film with whoever does that with them ... if it was me and my qb played as bad as Gruden said he did ... i’d Be in the room leading the session and there would be no punches pulled ...
To call him out in the press ... what does that accomplish ... as far as i can tell it emberrases the player for the sole purpose of you placing blame elsewhere ...
If u see it different that’s fine ... we’ll just have to agree to disagree and accept the fact we’d have different coaching styles ...

Had 2 females house guest from Florida who were big time Giant fans watch the game. Love it when my house was full of women who are hard core football fans and actually know what they are talking about. My Wife, the bride to be in Nov. (she recently moved to Florida to be with her parents) Her mother who is a hard core fan. One of my football players came by to make sure I was ok and watched with us he was laughing as the 4 letter words were flying...and not by me.
Was going back and forth during the opportunity out there when we were in commercial. Packer Viking game and Chief Steelers.
So happy to see The Steelers lose pretty convincingly and at their house. Happy to see another tie with Packers and Vikings and we might be in competition with the Vikings for Bailey's services.
Is that a record...tie games in the first two weeks of the season?
Fitzpatrick...are you kiddin me? Happy for him.
Also watched a lot of the Pats and Jag game. So Bortles became a HOF QB last year he actually showed signs. This year he shows proof that it was no fluke but man he has a long delivery but he was very accurate and his OL kept him pretty clean for the most part.
Cowboys Defense looked pretty good last night. Zeke won the battle of the RBs.
Lot of good games yesterday with battles to the end! jmho
Defense wins championships. Watson play your butt off! Go Browns! CHRIST HAS RISEN! GM Strong! & Stay safe everyone!

You know what’s crazy about bottles?
He plays a lot like Cam. Guy can take a hit, and likes to dictate the hits he takes cause it’s better than getting hit in the pocket.
Because bottles has a 6.40 yards per rush, placing him 3rd highest all time for QBs. He will tuck it and run and there’s nothing anybody can do about it.

Whew that catch by the Jag's WR was a circus catch. Odell style. Fantastic play and to have the intelligence to extend the ball to keep the defender from knocking it out... I mean WOW. Incredible play made by the WR. EDIT Link for the catch, i hope it works: linky

I think someone called this out earlier, but there's been a few comments today about the Clay Matthews hit on Kirk Cousins that would have won the game. Clay Matthews flagged for 'burping' the QB, Kirk Cousins admits it was 'probably a generous call' Sorry, linking a YouTube video would be easier, but the NFL continues to be jerks about social media. The Garrett hit on Ben last week was fair, but I'll admit it was close according to the rule. This hit on Cousins, was so totally fair. If I were a Packers fan, I'd be livid, even more pissed than what I witnessed yesterday as a Browns fan (Zane never missed a winning kick and the refs had no part is thievery). The refs stole the game from the Packers, which I can laugh about because I can't stand them, but it was the wrong call. I was more worried about the catch rule coming into this season, but damn, the league truly is turning into a flag football league. NO hit on the QB ends up being legit (unless you're TT and a LB leads with a helmet). Heck, even if you tackle him WITH the ball you can get penalized. Just wow.

Its not the refs fault ... its the LEAGUES FAULT ...
I said it last week and i’ll Say it again this week ...
The only thing the refs care about is beating the tape when there doing there weekly evaluation with their supervisors ... all they want to do is get the call right ...
The rule enforced on this play is 100% about player safety ... 100% about trying to keep the qb healthy ... so on plays like that ... AND THIS IS WAY HARDER IN REAL TIME THAN IT IS ON REPLAYS ...
IF the ref calls it and its really not a penalty like was the case with MG and even more clear with Mathews yesterday there going to lose a point IF THAT .. they may get a pass and are only going to get dinged if its really bad like Mathews was ... bit that official MAY NOT EVEN LOSE A POINT ...
On the other hand ... IF they dont call it and its deemed excessive ... THERE TAKING A HUGE HIT ... and i mean HUGE ...
That is one tough ass call to judge and make and the refs are told to ERR on the SIDE of CAUTION ...

In both cases the 2 teams had a more than fair chance of winning the game, so don't go blaming the refs. Packs and Browns blew it by their own fault.

Packs and Browns blew it by their own fault. I know that argument and you're right. Bad calls happen all the time and good teams battle through, no matter what. Each team had a chance to win after the bad penalty (or missed kick(s)) and didn't get it done. It's their fault, I'm not arguing that. In terms of that call, in that moment, the game would have been over for the Packers. An interception had been made and the game was essentially in the books. I think you can blame the ref for the bad call and at the same time blame the teams for not finishing their own work. The blame falls more on the team but there's a percentage on the ref (the percentages vary by the individual).
