That soft vulnerable place deep in your football heart, beneath the crusty layers of cynicism that have grown over the years: Baker touched it, didn't he?

Admit it. Own it.

Now I urge you, just surrender.

Come join the harem of men (and women) who are as in love as you can be with a football player. It is filled with throngs of Sooners.

But there is room in this tent for all of us. You will get here eventually. You will want to have his baby.

Now that this little Tyrod Taylor speed-bump has been removed, congratulations, we are going to the playoffs.

Book it.

If you are a betting man, now is the time to throw down with Vegas on things like division titles, conference championship, offensive rookie of the year, and yes, even the Super Bowl. Will we win it? Probably not. Not this year. But the odds you'll get will be worth the money and they will come down precipitously over the rest of the season.

Go Browns!!!!!!!

It's just one game. Let's see how things go from here on in once other teams start getting film on Mayfield. Personally I think he'll be alright. But only time will tell.

Yeah, well this place is kind of about a team. Not making a single player on it your idol.

Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

I refuse to admit that I was dancing around in my boxers during the final few minutes with tears of joy.

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

What was that movie where the couple wiped out their memories of one another?

Anyway, in similar fashion, I am going to forget that I was so furious when we took Mayfield instead of Darnold. rofl

Pittster. Let me ask you something. I THINK you are old enough to remember the Kosar days? If not, sorry.

What is a BETTER feeling to you TODAY?

Bernie's 1st start in 1985 or Mayfield's coming into this game in 2018?

Let me tell you something I was fully aware of when they both had their fist start. It takes a team to win a football game.

I'm very excited about the possibility that Baker holds moving forward. But I'm just as excited about those possibilities with Ward and MG.

Had our FG kicker missed both of his field goals we would have lost by two points.

I'm not impressed nor interested in hearing from someone who is nothing but a Baker fan boy on a team message board.

Even better news!
it's twins.

Celebrate. The coolers are open (and empty).

These should be rounded up and auctioned for charity.

The coolers, not the twins.

LMAO. You didn't answer the question. Cool. Testy Testy aren't we.

FANBOY? Are you F'in' kidding me. I DESPISED THIS KAT in February.

Lost by 2 points? OK. And IF Gonzalez doesn't pull a bone on us, we're 3-0. So where are we now? 1-1-1. Who knew.

Answer the question GRUMPY. NOONE said it's not TEAM RELATED.

You seemed to miss the point. I was talking about the person who started the thread, not you. Maybe you should read the original post by old Baker Brown to get some context. lmao

Man, I think we need to pump the brakes a bit on the Baker era before we start fitting him for his HOF jacket. If he's the starter, I'm sure he'll have his initial success because there isn't much game film on him. Jimmy G isn't exactly lighting it up like last year now that teams have had a chance to study him.

Besides, haven't we seen this story before a few times, we stand behind the starter thru training camp/pre-season and a few games, he doesn't catch fire and we all start shouting for the rookie. I know it's been forever since we last tasted victory but we should just simmah down naw!

This is true, I think maybe a lot of us are carried away as we finally got a win lol and a come from behind win of all things. And you're right as a whole we have seen many of our players flash brilliance when we first see them play, only for them to regress and flutter away.

There will be a few moments he provides that makes us scratch our heads. Be prepared for it and let the kid learn from it. We have the possibility of something really nice. I'll just sit back and watch it develop. 30 minutes of football so far have been pleasantly different!

Pretty sure that in the end, Hue will go with Baker Mayfield.

The team just lit up with him in there. I don't think I can really explain it, but everyone on the team just played better when he took over. For the D it almost felt like, wow, he's getting it done. He's moving the ball, the O is responding and suddenly, the D was inspired to play even better than they were.

Crazy how that seemed to work isn't it.

Hue apparently said yesterday that he will wait until next week to decide if Baker is the starter or not. But I think his mind is made up, its gotta be Baker.

I think the whole "we'll decide next week" thing is out of deference to Tyrod. Taylor may not be the QB we all wish he could be, but he's a class individual, and he deserves to hear that news from the coach, not the media.

I didn't want Darnold or Mayfield.. I think we'd have been well served by either but seeing them on thursday, we got the better guy without a doubt in my mind.

Ain't nothing wrong with being a Baker fan... You can bet your last dollar Cavs "fans" are jumping off the wagon in full force now that LeBron is gone.

His guy plays for the Browns, he's a Browns fan. He doesn't have the battle scars, the deep-rooted anger and eternal pessimism, but so what. As long as he brings beer to the party - it's all good.

You must have missed reading a few of his juvenile and quite disgusting posts which have since been deleted. I hope the guy is on a ‘ref vacation’ for awhile.
