The week starts out with a good one: Minnesota at LA Rams

The Rams have looked incredible thus far, but have a few injuries now

The Vikings laid an egg Sunday

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

Thats a “good” looking stat for the Faiders .... it keeps there D off the field and its a good thing ... thats about all it does ... it doesn’t turn into points ... i’m Not even sure f they’ve scored 50 points so far this year ... not sure they’ve hit 20 yet ....

The stat looks good ... but when u take it one step forward ... it doesn’t really accomplish much ....

Sheesh for the lambs ... thats 7 times out of 100 they go 3 and out ...

Wonder what the all time lowest % is .... your right ... THATS INCREDIBLE ...

Wow ...

I predict the Rams will score 36 points this week. It's only logical.

They scored 33 week one, 34 week two and 35 week three.

so they'll score, what? 55 points in Super Bowl?

Beside Thursday game, the rest of the games are uninspiring to me. Red zone channel most of the day until Browns come on (which i also think is compelling to national audience due to Baker's first start and the whole Gruden/Raiders melt down)

C.J. Mosley - LB - Ravens

Ravens ILB C.J. Mosley (knee) says he's day to day.

Mosley got in a limited practice last week but was never going to play despite his questionable tag. He's got a better chance to return this week. Getting Mosley back would be a downgrade to James Conner's Week 4 matchup.

That's a big injury either way for SNF

I'm telling you, he's a gun slinger and the team around him is doing a great job too. Some real highlight plays too where he did it himself.

I was watching that last night too. He's spot on.

I also saw the whole series where Garoppolo got hurt. Man, down 14 with 5 mins left and it was going to be 4th and goal regardless of those few extra yards he was attempting to get...damn shame. Why not just run out? Why plant to drive into the DB, who was pulling up anyway? What a waste.

Tonights game we are going to be force fed by AMAZON to have an all female Coverage of the game. I just hate agenda being forced on me. There was a female announcer earlier in the year and I thought she did a bad job.

Call me a sexist. But seriously I would enjoy it more if there was a more balanced presentation. I know I'll catch some heat. But Let me know how it turns out. I think I will skip this game as my way of answering their agenda...

Looks like the board had a hiccup where it was just deleting new posts. It seems everything is okay again. Maybe Purp instituted a board-wide timeout for everybody? laugh

I don't think it was deleting them. If you hit the quote button you can read them. I guess the board is getting ready for Halloween and is making ghost posts.

I posted that Brees ran for a TD on 2nd down in last Sunday's game. He ran through a couple of defenders.

Competitive QBs are going to do things like that, unless we call plays dead as soon as they are touched.

When's the last time Brees had two rushing TDs in the same game? ... pretty impressive

I understand your point, however, there are a few counterpoints.

#1 - Brees has already done it all in the league. If he ripped his knee up, he could retire and be ready for the HOF. Garapopolo is practically a rookie. He still has his whole career in front of him.
#2 - The Brees play, while on 2nd down, it was to tie the game with 1:15 left. Garapolo's run wasn't going to do jack. It's either 4th in goal from the 10 or 12, still down by 14.

Nobody knows when you knee ligaments will tear, but planting his left leg and initiating contact on a play that isn't going to change the outcome could/should have been avoided. There's a reason why Brady, the Manning's, Brees and others have stayed in the league so long, they know when to avoid contact. You're too valuable for that moment, that's all I'm saying.

The Rams lost both of their, very good, starting corners. It'll be interesting to see how they play on defense with Peters and Talib gone. Having Aaron Donald and Suh will help.

I can't see Minny playing two poor games again ... but, that Rams offense is scary good too

Looking forward to tonight's game. I'm sitting Goff in fantasy, which is a risk ... but I think Minnesota's D will try hard and THursday nights often are low scoring

Can't decide how I feel about the Storm-Kremer commentating. It's not terrible, but it seems a little out of sync and the pacing seems a bit slow to start.
