"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."
" Now here you are running these dirty old streets tattoo on your neck fake gold on your teeth, got the hood here snowed but you can't fool me, we both know who you are"
I think our D plays well again and Baker get's a couple TD passes ... Browns 28-10

31 - 14 Browns. Perfect game for Mayfield because the Raiders can't rush the passer. He'll make mistakes but overall has another good performance. D is very good as usual.
I was asked the other day if I could choose either Cleveland or Ohio State to win or lose and could only pick 1 to win who would I choose and I said Cleveland. The Comeback was why? Cleveland isn't going to the playoffs and OSU could win a National Title, I said I would love for the Buckeyes to win another NT but I am a Browns fan first and a Buckeye fan next.. If you were asked this question as a fan of both who would you choose to win ?

This week??
Buckeyes all the way. Browns ain't winnin' no title this year. Buckeyes could be well on their way... or lost in the mix after this single game.
I have no idea what the final will be but given Oakland's poor D and the fact ours has been pretty stingy against some great O's I don't think that Oakland has a very good chance to be honest.
However, with a rookie QB (all be it a pretty good one) there is always the unknown with any rookie QB?
That said, I think the Browns win 24-10 in a rout. Bake won't lose his 1st official start count on it !

Can't believe I am in a group that is comprised of the best NOT just fans but people on the planet.
I feel pretty good that the Browns might score over 30 points for the first time in a while. I think we might even spot 40. That would be fun huh? I'm expecting the D to have a little relapse at some point ... not sure if it'll be vs Raiders or not but I don't feel they can sustain this pace.
The more things change the more they stay the same.

That would be really encouraging if we'd win a game like that, let alone win this one at all.
I have a few fears:
1. They are desperate 2. They are at home 3. They will be supremely prepared for Baker 4. The turnover battle can't always go our way, can it?

The Browns are going to have to average +3, to +4 in the turnover ratio every week in order to be in games. The turnover ratio is going to have to go the Browns way, every week.
And the Browns offense needs to run better outside the red zone. They need to throw better inside the red zone.
And 13 points off of 11 turnovers, that is a red flag.

They had to win the turnover battle, overwhelmingly, in the 1st 3 games.
Baker changed that.
We scored on 4 of his 6 possessions. (not counting kneel downs) 2 of those were TDs.
We have failed to score off of turnovers, largely because of Taylor's struggles. We have failed to sustain drives. Taylor averaged less than 200 yards in his 3 starts. Baker threw for 200 yards in a half.
This offense is a different offense now. Baker doesn't hold the ball forever, until his receiver is completely open. He understands that every receiver is open at some part of the field. He is able to throw receivers open. He is able to complete passes under pressure.
Our running game also opens up when the QB is moving the ball through the air.
I expect to see a lot more of the things that Baker does well. We'll probably run some RPOs, and some swing/screen passes. His strength, however, certainly appears to be that he is able to read the defense, and make quality throws. He'll be challenged as DCs start throwing more and more at him, but that will also strengthen him, as he sees new things, and learns from them. One thing the coaches and his teammates have said about him is that he is a voracious learner, and has a photographic memory.
Given his accuracy, placement, willingness to attack, quick reads, arm, and football smarts, I feel better about him than at any point since we drafted him. I am so looking forward to tomorrow. I think he's going to do great.

I can't really give a prediction that I feel strongly about.....but I will say this.....with the way our defense has been playing through the first 3 weeks of the season, if BM comes in and moves the ball effectively, and actually puts points on the board; then the expectations for this season should go through the roof.
A dominant D paired with an offense that can consistently score points....that is what makes a playoff team...
a lot has been made about their lack of pressure on defense ... I'm interested to see if Oakland makes a concerted effort to blitz
