Which is a stupid question to ask anyways, there isn't a single shred of proof...there isn't a Grand Jury in the country that would indict Kavenaugh. The case would never even reach a court room...because you need this little thing called "evidence" and "witnesses" of which this lady has neither. He should sue her out existence after this is all said and done.

the fact this testimony was even included, the fact this lady with no proff was even allowed to speak is a disgrace....hell they will let anyone in their to speak, if they are telling the truth or not matters very little. Its a clown show plain and simple.

I'll say this: I'm gonna watch very closely to who confirms this guy and who doesn't.

I've been keeping score, and in the past two years I've gone from being a Registered Republican to getting closer and closer to refusing to support that party ever again.

I've never been more embarrassed as an American as I have since Trump's been elected.

So, I'll just continue to watch and remember. Because confirming this guy, like this (with these allegations) is a joke. It also sends a terrible message to sexual violence victims and to females everywhere. The Supreme Court is a serious institution. There's many candidates available. Why would any Republican vote to confirm this guy with an accusation like this looming over him?


There's other conservative candidates. Nominate another. Supreme Court Justices are for life, so let's get the thing right.

Kavinaugh might not be guilty. But he very well might. Dismissing Dr. Ford's Testimony is ridiculous. Shouldn't we have a higher standard of hiring Supreme Court Judges?

I will say this sends a very positive message and a great lesson study for high school and young college boys and girls starting their prominent lives. Better be respecting others. Very telling that the entire congressional committee agrees that something happened to her and believes that she was sexually assaulted including Kavanaugh. Yet they all refuse to have the FBI or have any other authority but themselves to investigate into an attempted rape charge. In a state with no statue of limitations?

J/C I was able to watch a portion of both testimonys. What I found hilarious, is the biapartisan and complete crap on this board.

The second ford was testifying, the leftys on this board are instantly saying how believable she is, how Kav is done, etc etc. Then the second Kav started testifying, they started saying how he is a drunk, mean, angry old man.

And the same goes the opposite for some on the right. We live sad times, where eff you to the other side is more important than the truth. smh.

Here are my takes:

1. For those bashing the Judge about his emotions and demeanor. Think abou tthis way, you guys freak out and scream when someone calls you a snowflake or 40 makes a joke about you. How do you think YOU would react, if someone is accusing you of attempted RAPE, in front of your children and wife......I think you might be a little heated and emotional as well. Your lifes work and career is jeopardy - you are receiving death threats as well as your wife and children.....GMAB - the mans emotions were real and genuine IMO.

2. Ford - for those bashing and calling her names. For me, her story never quite added up for me. Watching her testify, I found her to be more credible than I originally did. She showed hurt, she showed pain.

I truly believe something happened her has at that party, and that day. I really do. I absolutely in no way shape or form, feel that the Judge had anything to do with it.

I am extremely disappointed in a lot of YOU.....such a sham this entire scenario, and truly shows how low people will go and act towards one another. A lot of you would rather ruin someone's life of a political matter than get the right thing done. I have always contained I can disagree with others but still respect them, I have lost respect for a lot of you.

But some questions, why won't Kavanaugh answer questions. He kept interrupting before questions could be fully articulated.

One other thing, he says, without a doubt, is innocent of these acts. Yet he won't say he'd support an FBI investigation into these specific allegations.

I know he's been investigation 6 times before... But were these allegations checked out? No, they couldn't have been.

I don't care for Kavanaughs stand on Presidents being allowed to run free and loose without taking responsibility. And I don't like anyone telling a woman what she can and can't do with her body. So some of his stances aren't my cup of tea. But they wouldn't stop me from voting for him if he gets this off his back.

He needs ask for, even demand that an FBI investigation take place..

Her political activism shows she was lying and part of a left wing conspiracy to keep this guy from reaching the Supreme Court before Mid-Term Elections, as a Hail Mary in hopes that the Democrats can somehow take back the Senate from the Republicans, even though there's far more Dems up for elections than Repubs, and far more Dem Incumbents in contested races than Repubs.

She has so much faith and passion for her beliefs that she has sacrificed hers and her family's life to try to destroy Brett Kavanaugh's so that he (and any other Conservative Candidate) doesn't make it on the Supreme Court.

The deadline to release this information AFTER all the public and private meetings where this could have been shared by Feinstein's office is the "partisan move, bro". She had plenty of times to present this information and choose to wait until the last minute...

Of course republican don't want to delay and go to an investigation...why should they?:

Only one person presented evidence: Kavanaugh
Only one person has eye witness corroboration: Kavanaugh
Only one person has already been subjected to six FBI background checks: Kavanaugh
Only one person has detailed memories of the time in question: Kavanaugh

This whole ordeal was a joke and a disgrace to watch unfold. I could not believe what I saw yesterday. An FBI investigation means nothing as they would just ask the same questions as the committe and come to the same conclusions.....go ask Joe Biden.

And for clarification, didn't the FBI already say no do completing one? Not sure on this point.

I have always hated politics, it is nothing more than 2 little kids arguing, in this situation I see that we are all in BIG trouble if someones accusations (without evidence) can make you guilty and destroy not only the person but their entire family ... That's all I have to say except God help us all ...

Dr. Ford is not a credible accuser. She has motivation to lie and slander Kav.

1. Last year she became a liberal activist and is strongly against ANY conservative judge being appointed.

2. She lost her properties after banks won a foreclosure against her. The presiding Judge as Kav's mother. There is a strong argument to be made that this entire accusation is an act of revenge.

3. She has no evidence of any kind. Her own witnesses say they didn't see anything ever happen to her. In other words, she has zero witnesses and zero physical evidence. Not only would there never be a trial but you couldn't even get a police investigation over a claim like this. It takes more than an accusation with no evidence of any kind to justify an investigation.

4. The lie detection test was a fraud. They only asked 2 baseline questions. Normally it's barely accurate when they ask tons of them. Anyone could best that bad a given test. Especially when your coached and trained by a psychologist while being one yourself. It's easier to lie on those tests than you think. Also, there is no such thing as a truth serum outside of the movies so it's not like you can drug them and get the truth either. Also, sociopaths and psychopaths can lie as much as they want and not fail a lie detector test. It's just not a reliable way of getting to the truth.

These are the facts and there are no grounds to have ever accepted her allegations to begin with.

Meanwhile our judge has been the subject of extensive FBI background checks. Not once but at least 5 of them and possibly more. Why? Because he is already a judge on the second highest court in the country. He has the highest level of security clearance there is in our country. To get that kind of security clearance outside of being the President of the United States they tear your life upside down to find any and all possible issues with your life. If he had ever had the lifestyle Dr Ford alleges then he would have never passed to gain the security clearance.

They could not possibly investigate him more than they already have. This demand for yet another FBI investigation is purely a delay tactic because they are hoping to gain control of the senate and refuse any and all appointments made by Trump in the next 2 years.

What they have done is very clear and blatant. I hope they get punished for it.

The Republicans might not be able to bounce back if they appoint Kavanaugh. Very poor show on their part.

I seriously doubt this case would even have Kav on it. These justices do an absurd amount of work on the cases before they declare any kind of judgement on it. With him just stepping in he most likely would abstain on any votes for a few months until he has time to get vetted into the cases and understand them fully. It's just an insane amount of work and he is not going to want to rush in on his first few cases because he is a huge believer in the supreme court setting precedents for the lower courts.

I mean anything is possible but it's just not likely.

I think they will lose their base and lose far more votes if they don't confirm him. If they don't have the courage to do their job in the face of such obvious false charges then they don't deserve to be elected anyways.

Have a great judge like Kav in the supreme court will do this country more long term good than a 2 year period of control over the house or senate anyways.

Looks like we'll know Tuesday. They (the GOP) are going to send it out of committee to the floor for a vote come hell or high water today. That vote will be Tuesday at the earliest.
