Not really.

Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

I'm all about it. I think he is our answer for FS, deep down truth IMO. Hope I'm right.

good move. they must like what they've seen

Great pick up by Dorsey, man its so nice to have a GM who actually knows what he is doing. Didn't realize how good he (both Dorsey and Randall) is.

Btw we have picked the Packers clean as we got Wolfe and Highsmith from their organization. We knew the talent that was available. Taking a mediocre CB and playing him where he belonged was a brilliant move. Just hope he stays healthy as he's been playing dinged up the last couple of games.

Maybe it was the negative shield/defense mechanism I've been putting up in the several recent seasons to keep my expectations low and disappointment levels lower, but three games in - seeing our FAs, seeing our rookies... John has done a spectacular job.

It would be hard to see/imagine these guys regressing/going backwards too, as I know it's early.

I know it's early but just about everything Dorsey has done is looking good. Kizer got in a game went 4/7 threw an INT and took 2 sacks.....and Green Bay decided to play a hurt Aaron Rogers after that.

Personally, I'm still hoping Kizer gets it together at some point. He's a Toledo kid and as one myself, I'm backing him up. His development would be aided by healthy Aaron Rogers who would keep him on the bench learning how to be a pro. Obviously, he's not ready as we learned... painfully.

28 turnovers in 16 games.

Deshone Kizer is never going to be anything in the NFL.

I will never forget this play. I think it was 2nd down, Kizer rolls out to his left and keeps running toward the sideline….he is about to run out of bounds for a 10 yard loss…..at the last second jumps over the white line and throws the ball away while in the air…..it was right then and there…..beyond all the turnovers, beyond the horrible accuracy, I knew right then that this kid isn’t cut out for pro football.

My guess is that he made a few tackles, but the player got extra yardage after the first contact.

He didn't disappoint. Has skills. Just a broken shell mentally. Snakebit lasts. If he is bright and learns from mistakes, he should be absolutely golden by now. Not a player yet.

Kizer was just another wasted pick made out of desperation. I didn't want him to begin with. He certainly proved me right so far =)

Yeah, to me drafting a QB with accuracy and decision making issues is a futile attempt. Those things rarely improve enough to become worth it.

Yup, they factor in coverage and they also factor in 'run stops' which are similar to TFL but a deep safety isn't going to get the extra bump in points because they dont have the opportunity to make many 'run stops'

Randall has played well this far.

Ya’all just need to spend a wee bit more time on the Isle ... wink ...

I thought Kizer was a GENIUS PICK ... u guys just need to look at it from a slightly different angle ....

- he played so bad we didnt win a game and got the #1 pick witch led to Bake ...

- Dorsey turned Kizer into Randall ... just the FS WE NEEDED ....

Hope that slightly adjusted viewing angle helps ... thumbsup

While when looking at the end result that's true. Based solely on the pick itself? Not so much. lol

I agree with both of you. It's best not to draft a QB with accuracy issues - and while I'm on the drafting topic - it's best not to draft a receiver (or TE) who has a history of too many dropped passes. It's just risky business.

I can't wait to see how David Njoku fairs this season.

Nothing wrong with positive thinking and you do have a fair point. Still we passed on some really good players. Of course we could have just as easily picked another lemon too. Who knows ^^

Hahaha, I love this.

I saw something similar the other day regarding Cam Erving being a brilliant selection because the pick we got for trading him became Genard Avery, who is currently the top rated rookie edge rusher in the NFL.

So, essentially, we used a first round pick on layaway to acquire a high end pass rusher.

I'll take that logic. nanner

Reminder, Randall hasn't even been practicing because he's hurt:

What a great move by the front office, we turned a player who had no future with us into a very good starter.

Got to love Dorsey! Some great moves. Randall being one of them. Taking a kid who played FS in college was drafted by the Packers and played CB for them. Make the trade and without hesitation placed him where he belonged... FS and those years at CB helped his coverage skills. Just great vision for the team.

The picks of Mayfield and Ward that were also questioned by so so many...Fans and so called draft experts alike.

How the Chiefs let him go...I'm happy but he built the Team that is winning there in KC.

Also I would like to commend him on signing Harrison as a possible replacement to the GREAT JOE THOMAS...what a pick up that was and PROPS out to Hue Jackson as it was he who made the quick call before the season started to put Bitonio back to his LG position and start Harrison at LT. Again many blasted HUE for this move. But again Hue is showing that he happens to be a great HC for us! Again Thank you Mr. Dorsey cause firing a 1-31 HC would have been easy. Keeping him here was a Great MOVE! for the first time we got a team that is getting better with talent and some CONTINUITY!!!

It's amazing at how much this team has improved in one year under Dorsey. The guy uses so many avenues to acquire players. Like you said, he made two excellent picks at 1 and 4. He takes flyers on guys w/past character issues, such as Callaway and Harrison. He made a few trades that really helped.

I also think he and Hue work well together. That's huge for us! We also have two excellent coordinators.

This is the first time since our rebirth that I really believe that the future is bright for this franchise.

We are quite there yet, but we're so much better than we were. This year is about learning how to win and getting the younger guys some much needed experience. Watch out for this team next year.

And think about this. We really might have franchise guys at QB, Edge rusher, CB, and LT. Those are the 4 most important spots on the team. And they are all freaking young. That is amazing!!!

it's amazing what happens when you have a competent GM. . . . turns our our coach isn't that bad after all either. He just needed a team with enough talent to be sub par and he could build them into a average + to good team.

Hunter + Dart = This is the way.
