Yeah, that sucks for him, and for the team.

it was a huge difference for our defense
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

I know that Gaines and Carrie are NOT the answer

I know that Gaines and Carrie are NOT the answer Every team that is competitive should be calling the Cardinals and asking them what it would take to get Patrick Peterson and Chandler Jones.

maybe it was just me, but we seemed to play more zone yesterday than before. Maybe it had to do with Mitchell's injury .. but Ward seemed to be not as effective as a zone CB

I dont know who else we can acquire or sign, but I know this injury will kill us ... other QBs will just attack Carrie and Gaines at will

You can tell how much it hurt without Mitchell. Raiders imo started to turn their offense on and attack our weak secondary.

It don't look like there's any free agent CBs worth bringing in to look at.
Gaines and Carrie, we hope, can step up but wow they looked pretty bad. Carrie on Bryant was cake walk for Bryant.

These will be some of the growing pains we will all have to endure. A team can't be rebuilt all in one year. The starting line up is much improved and to a great extent so is our depth. But I'm sure it's not where these coaches would like for it to be.
I feel bad for Mitchell, the other payers in the secondary and their team mates. Hopefully he'll recover well and come back to contribute on the same level he did before the injury.
Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

It's all hope, but he might not be done for the season.

Gut punch for our secondary. Man, I've been enjoying watching them play as a unit.

This is good. When Mitchell and Schobert went down the defense felt like it took a step back. This will be a plus going down the stretch

That's wonderful news. The injury seemed like a pretty fluke thing. Hopefully he'll truly be 100% and won't be hampered by lingering issues.

One of Dorsey's most underrated FA signings. He was playing very well before going down. In the Dorsey thread, I was very down on him because of his overall FA/Trade decisions. I still am, but I should have referenced TM as one FA move that was cheap and worked out.

I think Mitchell and Randall have been his best moves in terms of pickups

T.J. Carrie & Greg Robinson are working out pretty well too.

I've been thinking a lot about this roster and it occured to me that we may be able to stick with BPA for the next draft.

T.J. Carrie & Greg Robinson are working out pretty well too. Yep, and Tanner Vallejo has been stepping up in the absence of Kirko too. I was high on Mitchell from the beginning. I thought that he would be the best of the 3 CBs' Dorsey brought in before the season. Damarious Randall has solidified the FS position, and even gives us an option @ CB. Thats pretty good

Vallejo has been solid for sure

I cannot disagree with this. However, Randall's contract was $1M this year. If we had cut him it would have $0 impact in dead money. Randall's contract in 2019 (his FA year) is $9M, cutting him would also cost us $0 in dead money, according to spotrac. Not sure what that means, just an observation.

We traded Kizer for Randall. And whatever money. Pretty sure we got the better deal. Sorry Kizer I love you always.

and least we forget, randall, who was a 1st round prospect as a safety, was playing corner his entire 3-4 years at green bay.
this is his first year playing back to his natural position, which means the guy is only gonna get better next season.
Dorsey nailed this.
“To announce that there must be no criticism of the President, or that we are to stand by the President, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public.”

"and whatever money" should never be a legitimate point, in any transaction, not just the the NFL, obviously.
I think it is obvious, at this point, we got the better deal on the trade. But some people like to wait on early round draft picks for three-ish years (Me) before committing to a player being good or bad. We'll see on Kizer.

LOL - The Rish will be upset with this news as well. KS just doesn't prioritize winning...
