Our WRs CATCH passes that are there for them .. that's inexcusable to have so many drops (even LANDRY)

More carries for Chubb

Someone other than Garrett apply pressure on the QB

Less blitzing, more base D ... blitzing has killed us against the experienced guys

Continued progress for Harrison

A 2nd CB step up ... this is HUGE for our defense

Someone other than Peppers returning kicks (and please, don't even return them)

Better officiating

A WIN ... for the love of our sanity, please

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

This defense is a lot better than what Baker saw in Oakland. He cannot turn it over.

I want to see Ogunjobi and how he handles the stout interior of this O-line.

How well does Harrison hold up against the ageless Suggs.

Can our WR’s get any separation from these DB’s

The Ravens are good. This is probably the best litmus test to date.

IF our defense plays like we did against oakland, baltimore might put up 60. I really hope our linebackers fix their issues. I want to see more of Chubb and running game in general

nope , this is a huge issue. Last game we dropped a DT at the goal line trying to cover a zone ... that was UGLY on the TD

This is huge. We make a lot of TEs look like Gronk.

Also:

Work on the fumbles. The first pick was off the WR and the other one was a bad decision (you'll have that with rookie QB, at least he doesn't hesitate. When he decides to throw the thing, it's gone). But we can work on the fumbles.

Less drops. The dropsies have even hit Vise Grips. When the QB delivers the pass to the hands, you gotta catch it.

We need a CB to step up for Mitchell. We cannot continue w the zone coverage. Our zone coverage would have to improve a lot in order to reach "sucks." The Mitchell injury can really be devastating.

ST - My God this has been brutal. Peppers as a returner is not as advertised. Our coverage needs to be way better. And the penalties. Not just the typical illegal block, but formations as well? This unit has been terrible.

Hopefully we do a better job and don't put ourselves in a position where a BS call makes the difference.

There best be some changes on ST’s ...

There BEYOND BRUTAL in every phase ...

The coach needs to be relieved of his duties ... it can be done “unofficially” or he can get canned ... i don’t care ... SOMETHING NEEDS TO CHANGE ... its been 4 games and we look like we’ve never practiced together before ...

Hue can take over behind the scenes ... he can get fired ... I COULD CARE LESS ...

This may be the first time I’ve ever asked for a coaches head ... well other than bOtch ...

I am patient ... WE’VE SEEN ZERO IMPROVEMENT in 4 weeks .... ZERO ...

Nothing even marginal to hang your hat on unless u want to celebrate a FG kicker that SO FAR hasn’t missed ....

We FIRED Gonzalez .... rightfully so ...

Well ... Amos is doing just as bad as Gonzo was ...

And whoever HIRED HIM should get a huge red check mark for that one ....

Hue or Dorsey has some xplanin to do on that hire ...

We hired a guy that sucked at his last couple stops ... and now our always below average ST’s play is somehow EVEN WORSE ...

Imagine that ... we hired a guy with a horrible r=track record and now were HORRIBLE!!!!!

First and foremost, we need to cut down on the mistakes.. penalties, turnovers, etc..

We need to minimize the damage from dump offs and shallow crossing routes..

Not sure what to say about our STs that hasn't been said.. they are horrible and they are costing us.

Mayfield is going to have to recognize where Suggs is on every play...

Ravens are better than the Saints, they are the best team we have seen and have the best defense... to compete we are going to have to play a much cleaner game than we have been playing to this point.

Rough Flacco up early! If he cracks mentally, we can hang. Catching the ball would be nice. Williams keeping us out of the stoopid defense that gave up so much late.

No lead is safe the way this secondary misses tackles. We need at least one new gunner that doesn't whiff!

Yeah, I don't know why but it seems to me like we could be up by 20 points and the other team can just come back EASILY ... it's like our defense is good until the other QB wants to just pick it apart

I want to see fewer mistakes and better execution. That's it. This means

+ fewer special teams penalties
+ fewer drops
+ fewer missed assignments

As far as what I don't want to see:

+ Peppers in the return game.

This, plus I want to see our D perform better than last week. Better pass rush, and DB coverage.

I want to see us score more than they do.

Here's a really bizarre stat ..... the Browns are tied for 10th in the NFL, in scoring.

The bad? We're tied with the Steelers, and the Rats and Bengals are ahead of us. crazy

I want to see more Chubb, more pressure, fewer turnovers, and it would be lovely to see the refs get the #@&% out of our way for once.

The teams in our division rank 3 (Steelers), 8 (Ravens), 12 (Bengals), 24 (Browns) in passing yards per game..

and rank 2 (Browns), 22 (Bengals), 23 (Ravens), 28 (Steelers) in rushing yards per game..

and rank 2 (Ravens), 25 (Browns), 29 (Bengals), 30 (Steelers) in total defense..

I hope we can pound on this D. I'd like to save Mayfield from throwing too much this week. Let him really cut his teeth on teams like the Falcons.

I hope we have an answer for Mitchell being out. My money is on Gaines, but as long as somebody steps up I don't care.

I'm not going to think about the game and what I want to see until Sunday.

What I can tell you is that I am looking forward to the game Sunday ... Despite the loss to the Raiders there is so much to look forward to seeing.

Agree 100% ...

And those expecting us to be blown out are gonna be pleasantly surprised ...

Fans have a tendency to take things to extremes ...

If the refs don’t hose us or we don’t hand them 24 points on Sunday ... this place would be OFF THE WALL EXCITED for this game .... but because we lost the sky is falling and we have NO SHOT ...

Flacco throws a great deep ball. We can not let him get comfortable in the pocket.

The defense got tore up by Oakland. Guys were open all over the field. We have to cover better.

Flacco is a pocket passer. He does not move well or throw well on the move. We need to get pressure up the middle.

The run game is important to establish. We have to show the Ravens early that we can run on them. If we are able to do that; the passing game will open up.

Catch the damn ball. Nothing gets to me like drop passes. It is like kickers missing extra points. Damn you are receivers if you can't catch the ball what good are you?

Play a complete game. Special teams don't have to be spectacular just efficient.

Turnovers lose games. Easiest way to lose; turn it over.

Just win. This is a division home game. If we want to stay in the hunt; this becomes a must win.

I'm interested to see how Harrison holds up (or doesn't) this game ... this is his toughest test thus far, correct?

Interview process for DCs:

Browns: Does your defense account for covering TEs and backs coming out of the backfield especially on shallow crossing routes?

Candidate: Yes it does.

Browns: I'm sorry, your not the right fit here.

You going to press or blitz? Both? Base?

The number of people coming off the line clean and unchallenged for easy chunks and moving chains is pathetic. We gave up over 40 points. Change and fix it. We apparently choke in zone.

it seems like our blitzes RARELY work. I may be biased, but it seems like we send extra guys and they either get engulfed by the OL or the QB makes a quick read and gets a big chunk
