- We're still a kicker and a set of competent NFL Referees from being 5-0. We just finally overcame those two deficiencies this week. (Barely)

- After 5 games, we are undefeated at home. No really! Look it up!

- I thought EJ Gaines had a good game. It really settled that side of the field (unlike last week), and that coupled with Ward's usual shutdown D, the Defense really looked solid this game.

- We really need some competent receivers. Again, tons of drops again today. Baker nearly put up 350 yards with Derrick Willies as one of the top receivers? He really spread it around though. Four receivers with 60+ yards.

- Looks like the Kardiac Kids are back.

We had 2 kickers in for tryouts last week. I bet we have a new kicker next weekend.

Baker Mayfield is the real deal
Denzel Ward is a stud
Myles Garrett takes up 2 blockers every week and still gets pressure
Oginjobi pushes the [pocket as well as any
Carlos Hyde is tough
This team is tough
This team is young
This team is hungry

This should’ve been worth 3 wins.

We beat the Ravens
We beat ourselves
But most importantly we beat the Refs!

Fired up that we won. I just can't stand that the defense gives up so many big chunk plays when the game is on the line.

Those who have doubts about Mayfield need to look at the poise this kid had today.

Baker is winning this entire team over not too mention the city. He will be fun to watch grow and pretty much the story that holds my interest in pro football.

I think they're a couple calls away from being 3-2 and a 3 game win streak.

I think the Steeler tie, and the Saints loss, coulda been legit losses, they're 2-2-1

Maybe the refs will start to give us some respect and stop being one sided every week

I thought, overall, the team played very well.

The D played well, stopping the ravens who had a huge benefit of field position in the first half.

The O played well, considering the average starting point was the 13 yard line in the first half.


I could nit pick certain calls here and there, no doubt.

But, the team held tough, and won. That's all that matters today.

That no call pass interference was ridiculous. How can they not call that

Hard to believe with 31 kickers on other teams and 7 billion people in the world, that there is no better kicker available.

What nobody is talking about is that roughing the passer call on Baker. Might be the worst one yet this year.

That play to Willies had everything that we drafted Baker for on display. Awesome.

We got a win ... For now thats all that matters.

The block in the back flag that was picked up was the killer to me.

They claimed it was "uncatchable", but the DB was riding Landry for a good 10 yards before he pushed him into the other back. Should of at least been illegal contact.

Lol, this season hasn't been easy.

How about that defence? Held Ravens offence to three field goals.

Bake is just a resilient dude. Doesn't shy away from the heat. Duke with three good runs at the end, that kick was ugly but he got it through.

2-2-1 after five games, a legit D and a promising quarterback. I would have taken that on Sept 1.

We're getting better.

Good win. We beat a tough, gritty, hard nosed and talented team. If we had a better kicker it wouldn't have even gone to OT. I hope our future wins get a little easier. It's tough on my stomach!!!

I sit corrected it was absolutely illegal contact. I dont care if the ball was going to the other side of the field. You cannot do that. its in the rules!

I can't remember the last time I posted in this thread after a win.
It feels good,but I'm drained.

I've heard 2 separate explanations.

1 it was a judgment call because the ball was uncatchable.

2. that it couldn't be illegal contact after the ball was thrown, and if the not thrown it could be illegal contact because it's ,(12 yards), more than 5 yards downfield.

Shoot! It coulda been targeting, he shoulder blocked him in the chest!

After 5 weeks NOBODY has mentioned the 2019 NFL draft

That game was torture to watch. I have a headache.

I never felt like we were gonna win.

And then somehow we won.

Can we please not have any more OT games???

Happy for the team though. They had to beat the Ravens AND the refs.

Almost, yes the WIN is all important. However, we need to bring kickers in AGAIN because our current guy nearly gave the game away TWICE. Or three times....terrible missed point, should have won game in regulation again. Terrible miss from 55 yds out and the winning kick was LUCK...we won on a knuckle-ball kick which should have been made CORRECTLY. It's obvious our kicker DOESN'T have the RIGHT STUFF> GO Browns, get another kicker.

By rules a quarterback can't be hit at the knees while in the pocket and Baker was clearly hit in his knees/lower leg from his right as Suggs hit him from the left. By rule it was the right call.
