No crystal ball here.
I have a ton of respect for Rivers. But I see this game being decided by our running game.
Our defense will do enough but it will be our ability to run clock and gain first downs.

This defense held Brees and Big Ben in check, I don't think Rivers brings anything they didn't. Only difference now is we have some offense. Aren't the Chargers the only team we beat in the two previous seasons when we really sucked? I think we got thier number, Browns win and we are gonna whip on em!

Much like you I find it too hard to predict. With this team, anything is possible.
I'll refer back to my comment above. We beat the Chargers in 2016 with far less talent than we have now. So there's no reason for me to believe we can't beat them now. That's not a prediction that we will, but it certainly means we can.
Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

Brees, by himself, may not bring anything that Ben & Brees don't, but what will differ is the weapons at his disposal and how we match up with them (or don't), which is what remains to be seen. I'll tell you what, though, win or lose, if we play them close, there will be no team that I won't give us a realistic chance against.

Jet lag kicks in and Williams D throttles the Chargers O a bit by "throwin the kitchen sink" at em. Browns O in general and ground game in particular help push our TOP to 37-38 minutes. I did pick the Browns to win Sunday in my weekly confidence picks. I expect another close game. I would like to see this team be a little more clean in their play, but I expect a little bit of sloppiness.
Special teams will probably be another adventure. I just wonder what they are going to do about this kicking situation if this team wins a few more games in the next few weeks. It really sucks finally being able to compete with these other teams every week, only to know that at best, we have a 50/50 shot at average NFL field goal, anything past 40 yards is a wasted attempt, and extra points are also no guarantee.

The chargers are little underrated as they've only lost to the two undefeated teams (chiefs and rams...both of whom would romp us) and they beat up on the Raiders whom ended up beating us...
Nonetheless it should be a fun game
