Denver at Arizona tonight ... not much interest on my end outside of fantasy football

Yeah, I have a solid chance of winning money on my Monday-Thursday contest and I also played a Thursday single game contest.

One fun note this week....
Brees has beaten all 32 teams in the NFL except one. The Ravens. I'd imagine this will be his final chance to do so. So, even more reason to root for the Saints this week... cuz who here ever roots for the Ravens?

Two pick 6’s. Ouch. But you’re correct Swish, Rosen has a trash team around him.

Arizona is a bad team. Broncos aren't great, but their D is literally controlling this one.

That game was horrendous. Byron Leftwich will probably be the Cardinals offensive coordinator soon. Steve Wilks might be one and done.

Understandably I was not watching the end of that game, but just now I was on Twitter.com and found out that Josh Rosen got hurt when the Cardinals were down 45-10 on a 4th and 15 play. Why was he even in the game? That whole coaching staff needs to fired directly into the sun. Imagine your, hopefully, future franchise QB getting hurt in that spot. Oof.

The Cardinals OL was horrid. I do think they had 2 starters out, though. The RG was getting murdered. Rosen is going to be damaged goods if they don't do a better job of protecting him.

With Bradford and Glennon, Rosen shouldn't even be playing. McCoy is abysmal.

Rosen went to the worst possible situation for any rookie qb ... and i mean the WORST ...
Reminded me of my boy Mitch going to the John Fox coached bears last year .... just NO CLUE how to groom a young qb ... i just had no clue how inept Wilkes. McCoy and whoever else is involved with their decision making ...
That teams a mess ... Bradford and Glennon should be sent out to be the sacrificial lambs ... there better options than the rook just cause of their experience and the fact they’ve seen it before ...
And then theres the NOT RUINING your rookie qb by getting him injured and/or destroying his confidence ...
These guys are BAD ... there so bad Rosen’s very first regular season game action came with 3 minutes left in the game ... a game in witch they had just fallen behind by 4 i believe ... HORRIBLE TIME to put your rook in unless your hand is forced by injury ... theres wasn’t ... the morons just decided that was a good time ... BRILLIANT!!!!
For Rosen’s sake i hope this staff is gone after this year ... if not ... good luck josh ... your gonna need more like Devine intervention ...

They just have nothing going for them; we're in a much better spot than AZ across the board. Rosen didn't look good, but it's so hard to judge

I don't see Rosen having the demeanor to thrive in a situation like this. He is a big baby, and his body language of the field was something I caught immediately. He was bumping into his RB and not even acknowledging him, almost like an "get out of my way" between plays. Bumped into a lineman too and just shrugged past him.
I am not one that puts labels on a player early - But I don't think Rosen is going to make in the in the NFL.

Terrible body language. And man, dude just gets thrown around like a rag doll. Threw some beautiful passes on occasion, but could have easily had 5 INTs. Dumb decisions. A lot of this could be due to the fact that he's clearly on the worst team in the league. Big dummy didn't want to come to Cleveland, careful what you wish for.

Cardinals announced that offensive coordinator Mike McCoy has been relieved of his duties and that quarterbacks coach Byron Leftwich now is Arizona’s offensive coordinator. https://twitter.com/AdamSchefter/status/1053305319034683392

Its too early to say for every single player in this draft this year - except for Rosen IMO. He is the only person I will say that about - simply because of the demeanor I saw last night, and his attitude toward his teammates. it was well documented throughout the draft process as well, and I think its the only reason we didn't draft him. Dorsey gushes over how BM was with his teammates and how they responded to him at OU. I am telling you, this kid is a jerk and no one is gonna want to play with him.

The NFL is brutal to rookie quarterbacks. Fact of life.
In games like that when you are down 4 scores early; they tend to spin out of control.
QB more or less forced to throw. Linemen go on the hunt. Pressure and forced throws get bad results.
I would not condemn Rosen so fast. Just like Darnold, Baker or Allen. These guys will all take some lumps.
The only rookie who I can remember who started and was lights out was Marino.
Rosen will learn and get better. It's good to eat some humble pie. He has a great arm. He is accurate and smart.
Body language? I don't know. I saw some support from teammates when he threw the pick six. Hard to say unless you are in the locker room and get first hand info on the guy.
When people started grading this rookie qb class after a couple games I was like "really".
Darnold started out fine. Then wham. Then got better then made mistakes. Same with Baker.
These guys are not surrounded by offensive talent. They are on bad or average teams.
Let's give them this year. Look at them after the year then see next year how they react.
I am happy with Baker. Happy with how he has played. And I believe he will be a good player.
The others? Time will tell.
