Man, I don't know. You say you give..........but Vambo, you work so awfully hard at making minorities look bad.
I want to highlight this paragraph from an article you just posted that was designed to a make certain people look bad.
Quote:
Most of these immigrants told Fox News they are coming to the United States for work, yet the increasing number of immigrants crossing the border has increased the demand for agents whose work is nonstop - each hour bringing a new group of arrests. This, as thousands of Central American migrants in a human caravan are streaming over the international bridge from Guatemala into Mexico after breaking through metal gates at the border fence.
Read that carefully.
I am an excellent reader. I have a Masters in English in addition to degrees in Mathematics and Education and I see an attempt to deceive and mislead.
Read it again.
It says that most of the immigrants are entering the USA for work. Then, the article used the word "yet." The following information in no way refutes their claim, but still manages to paint the immigrants in a negative light.
I have never been a fan of bias. I have never been a fan of discrimination. I have never been a fan of prejudice. I feel this is an example of all three.
are you that clueless? millions upon millions of AMERICANS in this country speak spanish.
But hundreds of millions don't.
more than 20% of the country speaks spanish, and overall, 1 in 5 people in this country speak a different language other than english.
you really are intolerant to those who dont look like you. you're about as bad as rocky the more you post.

If they come here LEGALLY GREAT! But if they come here ILLEGALLY they are breaking US laws. Do you think it's OK to breaks laws in the US? If so where do you stop, which laws are OK to break and which should be enforced?
I often feel incompetent because I don't speak multiple languages.
As you well know, Europeans speak multiple languages. To be fair, that is in part because their borders are so close to one another. However, I think that is pretty cool.
I would like to be more "worldly" instead of the dumb jock that I am. LOL

I am not a fan of breaking laws, but the current immigration laws are ridiculous. They make it almost impossible for people to enter legally.
I also think that a lot of people who talk about how awful breaking laws are also break laws themselves. I think people break the speeding limit. Do you disagree? I think people drink and drive. Do you disagree? I think people might fudge things on their taxes. Do you disagree? I think people download and upload music instead of paying for it. Do you disagree? I think people use the internet w/out paying for it. Do you disagree? I think people rip off cable companies. Do you disagree? I think people run red lights? Do you disagree? I think people drive w/out a seatbelt. Do you disagree?
I could go on and on and on.
The conclusion is that I don't think someone trying to search for a better opportunity by escaping a country where they raced repression is a greater crime than someone who speeds while driving drunk.
Hell, I noticed that people were complaining about LeBron's program because Akron's schools were paying for a percentage of the school. LOL....Bro, they would have had to pay for 100 percent of those kid's education if LeBron never showed up.
They refuse to recognize what's going on in the 'hood. You ever try and buy food in the hood? What you see? Fast food joints. Gas stations. Convenient marts. The one grocery store has a limited selection and jacked prices. It's all part of keeping people down!
Lancaster's population is only around 40K so when I moved here I wondered how it supported so many fast food joints and major grocery stores. At least 2 dozen fast food places (two of some) and 2 Krogers, Giant Eagle, Meijer, Walmart, Target (groceries?), Sav-A-Lot, Aldi's... But after living here a short time I realized it's destination shopping for those in bad CBus neighborhoods and pricier/overpopulated suburbs lol. Most weekends you would think the population was 200K+.
This also explains the tons of bars and churches. Way too many for a 40K population, yet new ones popping up all the time? It's really a great place to shop. Mall, and just about every major store you can find anywhere else. Tons of mom and pop shops, arts/crafts places, and public activities like downtown music and festivals. Again, 40K population.

The authorities do not have the personnel to catch all the people breaking laws and you think letting more cross without checking is a good thing?
Do you think they should be vetted before entry? Checked for diseases, if children are actually with their parents, if they have past criminal backgrounds or if they are smuggling drugs into the country?

my wife was explaining to me that its mandatory for them in germany to take a second language course in elementary school. obviously its still the basics, but my wife learned basic french in 4th grade, english in middle school, and continued english in high school.
some kids, like her best friend, took french all the way through, and she's fluent in German, english, and french. my wife is fluent in German, dutch, and english.
meanwhile, we got people in America who can't even speak english properly. yet they're typically the same ones trashing people who happen to be bilingual, and by that i mean spanish speaking.

What utter nonsense. The US accounts for 19% of the world's entire population of immigrants. In other words 1/5 of the people that immigrated to a new country LEGALLY went to the US to immigrate. No other 5 countries combined in the world allows as many LEGAL immigrants as the USA does.
Our immigration laws are ridiculous though. You're right. They are way too EASY. They are not hard or impossible. They are the easiest in the entire WORLD.
That last source was a report from the United Nations. Even if you don't like the News sources I quoted from you should at least accept scientific tracking data from the UN.
While you folk may want to claim the US doesn't accept enough people the facts state we do far more than ANY other country to LEGALLY accept immigrants. That is a cold hard scientific FACT.

Oh, and here is evidence of what I was talking about:
Quote:
Mary-Jane E. Maryland Becoming a citizen is insanely difficult
Becoming a U.S. Citizen shouldn't be so difficult, but it is due to the lengthy wait time, monetary and personal cost, and the fact that most immigrants do not have an immediate relative that is a U.S. citizen.
Dear Next President,
Do you have the right to vote? Have you never lived in fear of being deported? Are you a U.S. passport holder? Immigrants that are not U.S. citizens don’t have the right to vote. They live in fear of being deported. They are not U.S. passport holders. Why don’t they just sign up for citizenship? Most have tried and are still in the process; some have been in the process for 10 years. Becoming a U.S. citizen is just so challenging. It should not be so difficult for immigrants to become U.S. citizens, but it is hard due to the lengthy time it takes, monetary and personal cost, and the fact that most immigrants do not have an immediate relative that is a U.S. citizen.
A lengthy wait time is one of the many factors that causes becoming a U.S. citizen to be so challenging. Harlan York claims that there are 5 factors that causes the long wait time in the immigration process: family quotas, too many deportation cases with not enough judges, employment quotas, background checks, and the system’s inherent flaws. With employment quotas there is a maximum amount of skilled workers allowed from any given year (York). After the maximum number is reached “all the remaining applicants are put on waiting list for the following fiscal year”(Edward Boreth). According to Edward Boreth for “many years, the number of applicants has far exceeded the quota, creating waiting lists that are years long.” This means that immigrants waiting on the list may already have an approved employment or family based petition, but they still have to wait for immigrant visas to becomes available for them. Harlan York also points out that background checks is another factor to the challenge. Even though the process has become “much more advanced (and quicker)” it’s still a struggle because “certain checks take an extraordinarily long time,” which could be due to the immigrant having a common last name from their home country (York). Undoubtedly the rest of the factors just continue to load onto the truck called the struggle when it comes to becoming a U.S. citizen.
The monetary and personal cost for the process to becoming a US citizen is extremely upscale. The fees run into the thousands! Before you can become a citizen you have to: obtain a visa which according to Michael Pruser can range between “$799-$1880, depending on the reason for the requested visa,” and get your green card which costs up to $2,485. Pruser writes that “in addition, many immigrants hire an immigration attorney to ensure all forms are filled out properly and to aid in all aspects of the process.” Most immigration lawyers charge between $5,000 to $7,500 to help a client through the green card process. Some cases can cost closer to $15,000 before adding on application fees and potential family members. Romy Ribitzky adds that “the real cost is harder to quantify”. Applicants can spend years haunted by a feeling of lost opportunity and helplessness as they wait for the process to finally end. Furthermore, if we add up all the different fees required to come to the U.S. and obtain citizenship , the total amount adds up to be between $4,000 to $11,000 which just proves that the cost of becoming a U.S. citizen is indeed extravagant.
Having an immediate relative that is a citizen in the U.S. is a huge advantage that many immigrants do not have. As an immigrant trying to become a U.S. citizen, the factor of not having an immediate relative that is a U.S. citizen just makes the process harder. When you have an immediate relative that is a U.S. citizen the process becomes slightly easier because that relative can sponsor you for a green card. But many immigrants don’t have an immediate relative to sponsor them, which in result causes the process of becoming a citizen to be longer and more expensive. Since the U.S. immigration laws are designed partly to unite family members, an immigrant can obtain a legal status in this nation “through a spouse, sibling, or other family member,” (All Law) which all sounds good, but not for the immigrants that don’t have any of those. It’s easier if you have an immediate relative because this nation’s immigration law allows citizens to petition for certain relatives to come and live permanently in this country. According to the official website of the Department of Homeland Security, “immediate relatives have special immigration priority and do not have to wait in line for a visa number to become available for them to immigrate because there are an unlimited number of visas for their particular categories.” Already it is unquestionable that the lengthy wait time that it would take immigrants without an immediate relative that is a citizen of the U.S. is undoubtedly five times longer than it would take for an immigrant with that immediate relative. In fact, the statement on the website proves that not having an immediate relative that is a citizen in the U.S. is a factor that causes becoming a U.S. citizen more difficult for immigrants.
Becoming a U.S. citizen shouldn’t be so exhaustively time and money consuming, but it is due to many factors given to immigrants. A numerous amount of immigrants trying to become a citizen have a long way to go when they’ve already been through so much. The amount of time and money this process takes is exasperating and the fact that most have no immediate family, that is a U.S. citizen, that can help them just makes things more difficult. Most immigrants that have been in the process of becoming a citizen for years still answer no to most of the questions asked.
The caravan of about 4,000 migrants from Central America seeking to enter Mexico and then the United States illegally is attempting to invade and attack the U.S.
This assertion will almost certainly be denounced by the usual sources as being hateful or offensive, but it is long past time we stop letting the left prevent us from using words that clearly communicate reality.
The fact is: Thousands of people have openly stated their intention to break American law and invade our country. Other people, some of them Americans, are funding this deliberate effort to invade America.
If you think “invade” is too strong a word, watch this video of the caravan tearing down fences separating Guatemala and Mexico while waving the Honduran flag (the country these people no doubt plan to claim asylum from). How is this not an invasion?
We cannot allow ourselves to be intimidated by the heart-wrenching pictures and misleading words the left-wing media will doubtlessly manufacture if this caravan arrives at our border.
We also must reclaim our narrative from those on the left. We cannot allow them to demonize us and distort what we stand for and what we are trying to do.
Let me be clear about where I stand.
I strongly favor legal immigration. I am happy that America remains the most welcoming country in the world for legal immigrants.
According to Pew Research, in 2015 there were a little more than 30 million legal immigrants in the U.S. This is higher than the population of Texas – our second-most populous state. I think this is a great thing that makes America stronger. It is simply a lie to say I oppose immigration.
Furthermore, I have worked very hard to get sound, responsible immigration reform for decades.
In October 1986, when I served in the House, I voted for the Simpson-Mazzoli Immigration Reform Act, which granted amnesty to about 3 million people (originally estimated to be 300,000). I voted for the bill in return for two commitments: to control the border and to establish a guest worker program.
Similarly, President Reagan wrote in his diary that he would reluctantly sign the bill. “It’s high time we regained control of our borders and (Simpson’s) bill will do this,” the president wrote.
The harsh lesson of 1986 was that liberals took the amnesty for 3 million illegal immigrants and then broke their word on controlling the border and creating an effective guest worker program.
Finally, on a personal level, I spent much of my childhood living in foreign countries (my dad spent 27 years in the infantry, and I now live part-time in Rome, Italy).
I outline my record to make clear that I don’t fit any of the nasty stereotypes with which the left smears those who threaten them (see “the Kavanaugh effect”). And neither do the vast majority of Americans who want a functional immigration system that reflects American values.
The very idea that thousands of people believe (or are being told) they have a right to invade America and demand that we take care of them tells you how sick the system has become.
The time to draw the line and fight for an honest immigration and border control policy is now.
The caravan is the perfect symbol of the arrogance – the organized effort to destroy the rule of law – and the contempt for the American system that the left exhibits every day.
We have been so conditioned by a half-century of political correctness doctrine (developed and sustained by the liberal news media, college professors, and left-wing politicians) that we have forgotten how to tell the truth about illegal immigration.
The truth is: Illegal immigration has substantially increased the risk for Americans.
MS-13, the vicious El Salvadoran gang, killed 17 people on Long Island in New York in a 17-month period in 2016. The gang has an estimated 8,000 to 10,000 members in the United States.
Fentanyl and opioids also come across the uncontrolled southern border. Last year, more than 72,000 Americans died from drug overdoses – more than the number of Americans killed during the eight years of the Vietnam War.
There is a substantial safety impact of uncontrolled borders and the routine breaking of the law by illegal immigrants.
If America is to survive, we must win some key arguments about facts and prove that much of what left-wing politicians say – and what the liberal news media report – is simply wrong.
If America is to survive, we must heed George Orwell’s warning in his great essay “Politics and the English Language” that “political speech and writing are largely the defense of the indefensible."
Nothing could more accurately characterize the left’s speech about political correctness and the unending effort of the left to shut down language that exposes the hypocrisy and falsehood of its members’ positions – especially when it comes to their animus toward American sovereignty and defending the border.
As I wrote in my New York Times best-seller “Trump’s America: The Truth About Our Nation’s Great Comeback,” the liberal media have actively participated in creating propaganda designed to manufacture sympathy for the lawbreakers and delegitimize those who would defend American sovereignty and the rule of law.
When House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., says to Harvard Kennedy School students that Democrats are for controlling our borders, she is simply lying. When she goes on to say, “we do need to guard our borders, and we do need to have immigration reform,” you have to wonder how stupid she thinks we are.
There is no evidence of any Democrat-backed program that would be effective in controlling illegal immigration. The Democrats oppose the border wall in any form. They would hobble or abolish the Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency (ICE).
Democrats favor so-called sanctuary cities and states in order to shield illegal immigrants from the legal immigration process.
Sen. Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif., has introduced an open borders bill, which every Democratic Senate incumbent has co-sponsored.
The national vice chair of the Democratic Party campaigns in a T-shirt that says in Spanish “I don’t believe in borders.”
Democrats only ever favor complicated, impossible-to-implement legal systems, which create opportunities for people to enter and stay in America illegally.
Not only do Democrats oppose controlling the border and stopping illegal immigration, they welcome illegal immigrants as an offset to legal American voters.
Consider what Pelosi said in El Paso to immigration rights activists: “We believe that we will have leverage when we win in November. And why is that important? Because it gives leverage to every family” who came to America illegally.
Stacey Abrams, the Democratic candidate for governor in Georgia, is even clearer in her commitment to illegal immigrants. In a recent speech, she said the blue wave is comprised of “those who are documented and undocumented.” There could not be a clearer indication of the Democrats’ belief that illegal immigrants are an integral part of their coalition.
The San Francisco Democrats have even adopted a new regulation to allow illegal immigrants to vote in city elections.
The caravan invasion is a useful starting point to insist on an honest debate about our future as a country.
Quote:
Every Democrat should be forced to answer these six questions before the election:
Do you think 4,000 or more people should be allowed to invade the United States whenever they want to, and, if so, how big and how frequent do you think the next caravans will be?
Who do you think is paying for these efforts to undermine American sovereignty, break American laws, and impose foreign will on the United States?
When you are told it is only a small number of people in this first caravan, how do you respond to the fact that we already have an estimated illegal immigrant population of 1.8 million Central Americans, 650,000 South Americans, and 425,000 immigrants from the Caribbean. Does that change the scale of the problem?
If caravans are accepted the numbers will grow dramatically in a very short period. When you learn that the Gallup World Poll estimates that 29 percent of people in Latin America and the Caribbean (that would be about 197 million people) want to migrate – and 29 percent of those people (about 57 million) want to come to the United States – does this change your concern about controlling the border?
When you learn that beyond our hemisphere, the Gallup World Poll estimates that millions more would come to the United States if they could, does that increase your interest in controlling the border?
If you do not think this caravan should be allowed to illegally enter the United States as an invasion of our sovereign border, what would you do to stop it?
If Democrats really wanted to control the border, how do we have an estimated 11 million-plus illegal immigrants currently in the United States – and a system that can be gamed so easily that people have continued to brazenly and openly break the law?
This caravan attack is the right place to draw the line and say “no more.”
House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif., is right. Congress should come back and pass the laws that would enable Americans to re-establish the rule of law at the border and protect our country with dignity and authority.
President Trump is right. Stop the caravan now.
If you want to defend America, let your House member and senators know how you feel.
I provided scientific evidence that PROVES the USA is the most generous country when it comes to accepting legal immigrants. That's a fact.
You respond by insulting my faith and calling me a racist.
Instead of name calling that should get you banned for a few days accept the actual evidence. Don't counter facts with opinions from biased sources.
It's a privilege to become an American Citizen. Not a right. When you meet the requirements that we are looking for then your accepted. The USA accepts more legal immigrants than All other countries. 19 % of all immigrants all over the globe are legal immigrants to the USA.
My wife was a legal immigrant. It's not hard to meet the requirements at all. Koreans are more of a minority than blacks, hispanics, or latinos according to census data. Yet you accuse me of hating minorities. I don't hate anyone based on the color of their skin. PERIOD. Stop the lies. Stop the hate. Face the FACTS.
You can't fix stupid but you can destroy ignorance. When you destroy ignorance you remove the justifications for evil. If you want to destroy evil then educate our people. Hate is a tool of the stupid to deal with what they can't understand.
I already provided evidence. You and razor chose to ignore the articles. That's on you two. Not me.
Btw----where was the personal attack? Are you saying being called a Christian is a personal attack?
Look, the two of you can cut the crap. This is an exercise in futility. Neither of you will ever display any compassion or understanding to the plight and situations those people face and I will never agree w/you to despise an entire group of people.
So, let's call it quits and stick to furthering our own agendas instead of tap-dancing around the truth. You are both disgusted by illegal immigrants and I am disgusted by Christians who have no compassion for people in dire circumstances.
I am disgusted by so called American citizens who favor breaking our own laws, bring danger to our own citizens, all in the name of supporting foreigners over our own country. Like you.
The skeard conservatives need a safe space to hide from the other!
The horrible caravans of depraved MS13 killers and rapist, the angry violent liberal atifa mobs, the lazy benefit sucking job stealing illegals, the muslim sharia law terrorist hordes, the lying commie socialist scum, the not-white not-christian that thinks they have a right to be here or vote... they've all teamed up and they're out to get conservatives! The White Christian Majority sees the chaos sounding its death knell! They must hide and shiver away the nights in pure terror!
The only one showing hatred is you. I just provided the truth. You might not like the truth but that is too bad. The truth doesn't change just because you don't like it. Calling me names, insulting me, telling lies about me, etc does nothing to change the truth.
1. I don't hate minories. 2. I am not against people immigrating legally 3. America accepts more legal immigrants than any other country in the WORLD. It's not even close.
It is not hateful to ask people who want to live in the USA to follow the laws of the USA. It saddens me that you can't understand that.
You can't fix stupid but you can destroy ignorance. When you destroy ignorance you remove the justifications for evil. If you want to destroy evil then educate our people. Hate is a tool of the stupid to deal with what they can't understand.

You personify the word disgusting. No stance on any issue is too deplorable for you to take. Scared little nobody conservatives trying to find protection from the changing world... #LetsHide #BeScared #HelpUS #Whimper
I provided links to what I was talking about and you completely ignored them. You can go off on another tangent, but I'm done speaking w/you on this subject.

You sell out your own countrymen for the sake of foreigners.
We must protect our Nation from those among us who support foreigners over our own. From those who are Domestic Foes to the United States of America.
We need immigration but True Americans will not support people coming here illegally! We will not stand by as our country is invaded. We do not support the breaking of our own Laws!

lmao
That's the same reaction I have when I see all your #BeScared posts from the Fox Propaganda Network. smh
The fact that people still refer to immigration situations as “invasions” disgust me.
“To announce that there must be no criticism of the President, or that we are to stand by the President, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public.”
I already provided evidence. You and razor chose to ignore the articles. That's on you two. Not me.

You provided opinion pieces. I provided factual numbers.
It's very obvious to anyone that you insulted my faith and that you called me a racist. You falsely keep accusing me of hating minorities.
You want open borders so that anyone can just walk into our country. That is an act of foolishness that is not accepted ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD. I want our laws obeyed. That is not hatefulness.
I'm not tap dancing. I'm standing firm on my beliefs and on the side of hard facts. But your right, talking to people like you who have hearts full of hate for those who disagree with you is pointless.
I'm done with your nonsense.
You can't fix stupid but you can destroy ignorance. When you destroy ignorance you remove the justifications for evil. If you want to destroy evil then educate our people. Hate is a tool of the stupid to deal with what they can't understand.
You simply don't pay attention to anything do you? lmao
In case you missed it, which you obviously did, I'm for a border wall. I'm for enforcing our immigration laws.
What I'm not for is acting like some crazed lunatic and labeling people who are trying to build a better life for their families as "invaders" or making it sound like they're some major threat to our national security. I'm not for using immigrants as some sort of political pawn.
I also don't ignore the propaganda thrown around. Unless you forgot, Trump just sent thousands of National Guard troops to the border in the spring which he said would help stop the problem. And it did. Arrests are up by a wide margin. Unless you think Trump lied and those troops aren't helping?
But now that it's close to election time he needs another straw man argument to work up the base. And you just help spread it with more fear tactics. Carry on....
