Tretter sat out practice Wednesday and Thursday but returned Friday on a limited basis. He entered the weekend listed as questionable to play but said he planned to push through the pain against the Bucs. Wide receiver Breshad Perriman is set to debut with his new team because he’ll be active for the first time since the Browns signed him Oct. 13. The Browns listed Duke Johnson as their starting running back, but a team spokesman said rookie second-round draft pick Nick Chubb could start against the Bucs instead of Johnson, depending on the formation the offense uses to begin its first possession. Browns General Manager John Dorsey traded running back Carlos Hyde, who started five of the team’s first six games, on Friday to the Jacksonville Jaguars in exchange for a 2019 fifth-round draft pick. Quarterback Drew Stanton, undrafted rookie receiver Da’Mari Scott, cornerback E.J. Gaines (concussion), middle linebacker Joe Schobert (hamstring), receiver Rashard Higgins (knee) and defensive lineman Carl Davis will be inactive for the Browns. TJ Carrie will start in place of Gaines. Briean Boddy-Calhoun will serve as the Browns’ nickel cornerback, the role Carrie has held the past five games. Christian Kirksey will slide over from weakside linebacker to start in place of Schobert in the middle of the Browns’ defense. Rookie fifth-round choice Genard Avery is listed as the starter at weakside linebacker, Kirksey’s usual spot.
