I'm thinking of getting one, but haven't checked one out before. Is it cool? Is it worth the money?

What are some good games? How big of a memory card do I need? Any other accessories I'll need?

Thanks

I had one last year. I bought it for my trip to the Philippines. It's an amazing little unit. Games, movies, internet, music, pictures and I'm sure there's more I don't know about. The price point is really nice too.

You don't have to buy the UMD movies.....just convert your the movies on your PC using PSP9.

The memory card should be big enough to hold your music and a movie or so.

Thanks for the info. So it has a browser built in that you can browse the net? Can you play the games online too?

Do you think 1gb is a big enough card?

Never even saw this thread...

I gb is ok, but if you plan to store alot of stuff on there, then go bigger.

I am pretty sure it has a browser on there, but it stinks..not iPhone quality or some sort, don't expect much.

You won't see as of a wide collection as you would for PS2 or XBOX's....but the very best games such as all the sports games like Madden and The Show are on there.....

One thing that is cool is the Madden. You can play your Madden franchise from your PS2, and port it into the PSP if you have the special cord...very cool for roadtrips!

Well I got one with a 2gb stick (Best Buy had them on sale for $45). I bought Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops and Madden 08.

It's OK, but I have to admit I'm a little disappointed. One thing that's driving me nuts is half of the time my kickoffs don't work in Madden and which ever defensive player I'm controlling before the snap strafes left on his own. Anybody else experience this?
