As bad as our offensive line is how can anyone expect the offense to be productive?

Our Oline is getting BLOWN OFF the LOS in Pittsburgh today...not sure what plays will work when you have 2 seconds to get it off.

At some point we have to stop giving Hue a pass for the continued infighting and media leaking that has went on here during his tenure. Freaking day of the Steelers game in a make or break game potentially for the season and this nonsense gets leaked.

I’m not in the fire Hue crowd, but crap like the stuff this week is why when he does get canned I won’t feel to bad for the guy.

I think the team finally gave up in Hue after the missed field goals. Its time.

Hue needs to take over the unemployment line. Good bye, good riddance.

As much as the media makes holes when there aren't leaks, I don't know if that's entirely on Hue.

I feel like the Browns' stereotype is as much at fault as anything. It colors/slants everything in a negative direction.

These guys have known reporters they leak to.....MKC is a known leak source for Hue and Dee Haslem. Who knows about the national guys (except Silver of course) but MKC is known to be the local mouthpiece for those two.

More importantly I am sick of the infighting and distractions....it’s hard enough to win in the NFL without those. Every freaking year this crap comes up and I’m sick of it.....can someone in that building be a professional and handle this stuff behind the scenes like men/ladies???? Ridiculous

The Rams were horrible even the first year after Goff was taken #1 then they fired their coach and hired Sean McVay and look at them now that can happen here too if we pick the right HC ...

Agreed. Twice this team has given up now this year on him. The only argument some have had was that the team doesnt quit. They did today.

Not quite, that Rams roster was built by Jeff Fischer. Folks can say what they want about Fischer but the guy knows how to build an NFL roster. McVay was the beneficiary of Fischer roster building.

Funny thing was Jeff Fishcher wanted to come here but the Browns would not talk to him. Folks say Fischer is just a .500 coach well .500 looks really flipping good right now.

Fischer would have helped us build a competitive roster that would have allowed us to build a competive roster so we could compete. Wonder if he is still interested because he is the perfect fit for us if he is. He will get things turned around here, he may be thee only guy not named Norv Turner who could.

#Browns Hue Jackson on NFL Network's pregame report OC Todd Haley could be fired if things didn't go well today: No. I don't even want to talk about or give legs to anything about last week. I said what I said out of frustrations. That's over and done with.

Today's performance has me frustrated as heck.

Oline needs to take the blame on this one.

We will not progress if the only think we do is looking for someone to take the blame.

And IMHO, OL is not to blame. Baker is trying to do to much...

Someone is to blame for the protection calls or lack of recognition on what was going on since nearly every pass play had at least a man unblocked. Don't know if that's Haley, Baker, or OL. Or combination of all of the above.

8 Games left. Win Any 3.

Hire, Fire, Payoff the Refs/ league/ other team, ask Santa Clause,

I don't care WHAT you have to do,

There are 8 games left, Win any 3!

Give us some hope! Some thing is going right, some form of progress in to ANOTHER YEAR, of a lousy offseason with little to no progress since 2001,

Win Any 3.
Win 1! Start with 1.

Chiefs
Falcons
Bengals
Texans
Panthers
Broncos
Bengals
Ravens

Each game, I see a "chance" the Browns could win. None of them look impossible.

Report: Hue Jackson has alienated himself from coaching staff

The moment that offensive coordinator Todd Haley was hired by the Cleveland Browns, there were concerns about how he could co-exist with head coach Hue Jackson. The two have very big personalities. Frustrations seemed to bubble to the surface following last weekend's loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers when Jackson sounded open to a hostile takeover.

"I feel like I have to and I want to [be more involved]. That's what I know. I'm not going to continue watching something that I know how to do. That's just the truth. Nothing against anybody in our building. That's what I do and I think I need to be a little more involved...I'm not trying to create any issue here. I think if the offense is not playing well, and we have not over a period of time, being a head coach and an offensive guy who has done this, I think I have every right as a head coach to jump in here and see if I can help and assist to see if I can get this thing where it needs to be. We need to be better on offense. If that is my specialty then I need to be involved more and I will be," the coach explained.

"I have been respectful [of Haley's job]. That's why you bring guys in and make them the coordinator. There are some things that we have to fix fast to get this thing back to where it needs to be...I'm the head coach of the football team. Period. Period. There is nothing else that needs to be said. Nothing. That's the way it works. I'm the head coach of the football team. It's not going to be about butting heads. I am the head coach of this football team. I will do what I feel I need to do to get this team where it needs to be."

CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora has been very outspoken against Jackson in recent weeks. He wrote that "Only Hue Jackson would believe that Hue Jackson could save the Browns' offense." La Canfora expanded upon his thoughts and some of the buzz that is pervading team headquarters.

"Jackson's remarks on Sunday further alienated him from his staff, according to numerous sources with knowledge of the situation, and he has rankled others by repeatedly allowing players to show up late or not adhere to the team's dress code when traveling with little repercussions. A lack of discipline is considered part of the losing culture there," La Canfora wrote Sunday morning.

"Jackson's remarks flabbergasted and confounded those he works with and confused many in the locker room after rookie quarterback Baker Mayfield had just rallied the team from a 16-2 halftime deficit to send the game into overtime. It was Jackson's own inability to develop a quarterback or kickstart the offense that led to the hiring of former Chiefs head coach Todd Haley as offensive coordinator in the offseason, and the Browns are averaging a touchdown more per game than they did a year ago."

Jackson and Haley have each said that procedure has not changed this week despite remarks. Haley will continue calling plays this week against his former team - the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The Browns' organization is no stranger to turmoil between coaches. A year ago, Jackson won a power struggle with former Executive Vice President of Football Operations Sashi Brown. Browns was fired in favor of General Manager John Dorsey. It is believed that Dorsey has the support of ownership so it will be interesting to see how things play out in the coming weeks.

I don't think dress code violations are a reason for dismissal. However, I am concerned by reports of players showing up late without repercussions.

That is definitely a concern for me as well, but I want details.

The most talented player on our roster showed up late during saints week and ended up getting cut, despite him being actually sober for a change.

Winning 3 is a challenge IMO

Kansas City - LOL
Atlanta - their offense is too potent
at Cincinnati - they're good on both sides
at Houston - not with how they're playing
Carolina - they just might be top 5 in the league
at Denver - this is a maybe
Cincinnati - this is a maybe, maybe
at Baltimore - they'll need this game

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

We aint beating the Chiefs
I don't think we beat Atlanta
Bengals are on fire right now
Texans are on fire right now
Panthers are always in the playoff hunt
Broncos is winnable, but Den is a tough place to win
Bnegals again
Ravens - I don't see us winning when they are fighting for a playoff spot.

We are not winning another game this year.

There has to be alot more to they story than what we are told. My guess is either they believed that Gordon would not pass a drug test or Gordon led them to believe that in order to get traded out of Cleveland.

As vocal as I was about it ... once i calmed down (it took a while .. *L* ..) ... i knew it had to be done ....

If he was showing up late and being a general turd he had to go ... especially on this young team ...

Still peed about the Kendricks move but thats another story ... *L* ...

...and here come the standard post-firing "leak" articles that give the heretofore unseen insight that will "validate" the "need" to fire the person.... like clockwork.

So far hes looking good in NE. Maybe he was doing that because Hue was letting him do that, and not holding him accountable....just a thought.

I was meh on it to be honest.

I get the reasoning, but I also think Hue gave him too much a leash "the eagle has landed the eagle has landed" got me thinking Hue was too excited for Gordon, and let him do what he wanted.

FYI - looks like there was a big rift in the room with Haley and Hue. Both are gone, I would have preferred to keep Haley, but hey - I think its best for the franchise. On to KC.
