And you're right, the BS explanation is what makes it way worse. They probably would have been better off just not throwing it to begin with. The fact that there was flag thrown, proving that at least one official on that crew knew what he saw as being a penalty..and the "officiating crew" decided to change the call and pick the flag up...this crew needs to go back to reffing HS anc College games.
This really makes the NFL look bad..but let's see if the NFL fines the Bucs #31 for his targeted hit or they simply circle the wagons and back the officials for picking the flag up.
Let's see what the NFL does...

Let's see what the NFL does... I agree Mac. Fines are usually announced on Fridays. The thing that bothers me was the explanation...that Baker was a runner and can be hit in the head. What? Defenders aren't allowed to spear other players in the head. What's up with that? The NFL has a serious problem with the refs and the rules. Some of the rules allow for too much opinion, and many of the refs aren't very good . The good crews get the "good" games and us lower ticket games get poor officiating.
If everybody had like minds, we would never learn. GM Strong

No I was waiting for the flag helmet to helmet hit on a slide. Of course excused and explained bogus wise by the TAMPA ANNOUNCER BARBER...liar. As the NFL recognized and apologized like they usually do after games that the player should have been penalized. What a bunch of Ref crap we must go through week after week. Now the mother of all Cheaters will be faced at Ketchup field. Steeler and Refs sleep together.
Defense wins championships. Watson play your butt off! Go Browns! CHRIST HAS RISEN! GM Strong! & Stay safe everyone!
