I play Little League Baseball year-round, I played Midget football for 5 years before giving it up for baseball year-round to improve on my pitching..I have a pool in my backyard that I am in everyday. Since when has what Brownie does with his time become anyone elses business? The last thing he deserves is to be attacked because he spends more time on the computer then the rest of us. If he enjoys being on the computer, then all the power to him. It's not something I would prefer to do with my free time, but that's the beauty of the world: People are different.  Anyways, about Bettis (lets try to get back on topic, please) ... *gulp* Even though he was a Steeler, I've always had respect for him. He played with heart and loved his team, and hey, by doing this he was just trying to protect himself. Everyone won in the end anyways, right?

SHEP... I suppose to me the smack lies here...
1. that the Steelers would treat their pro-bowl quarterback that way. Rooney has always prtrayed himself as one of the most stable and classy organizations...and then they bench their quarterback so they dont have to pay him. Personally, I think Stewart just blew but that isnt what Bettis is saying.
2. The Golden Domer...Bettis wasnt good enough to keep his job without pulling a Michael Johnson (remember that 150m race...that was an all time laugher)
3. We give out free stuff on our website...the steelers charge for coloring books.. maybe if their fans buy enough they wont have to bench Roethlisberger if he has a good season to avoid paying him.

j/c... Does anyone else find it ironic that the two people in this thread (shep and Christy) who are blasting Brownie for his age, typically act more immature than Brownie? BTW- Age smack is just as lame as spelling smack. I've seen more intelligence about the game of football from Brownie than I have seen from you, Christy. So apparently, age doesn't equal intelligence. At least I see him on here posting about the game of football with some intelligent posts, unlike your typical "Browns suck, I love the Steelers!" posts.

What's there to say about it in the meantime....unless you care to rehash the games from last year? Somehow I doubt it. And for the record, the "age smack" isn't a slam against his age at all. It has to do with the fact that a 14 year old kid spends way too much time on a computer....kids at that age are at a crucial stage in life when socializing is critical to their development. When you spend 99% of your free time on the computer, then something is wrong. If I were his parents, I'd pull the plug on it. If you don't hearing the truth, then I suggest staying out of this forum..........."you suck" at it anyways.
