They're negotiating with ABC to start a new daytime soap.

This is why we can't have anything nice.

My original thought was a battle to the death between Saunders and Williams for interim HC spot. Dorsey and Haslem wanted first row seats for the fight so they ran down to the locker room where said battle was to take place. Subsequently, it's also why Williams is now being named the HC and not Saunders.

Saunders is dead.

This is the state of the fan base.

Yup.

Now... why is the Browns fanbase so bitter, full of bile, enraged, and wretched?

Could it be the utterly incompetent Browns organization abusing its own fanbase for decades? Not years, DECADES!

Could it be that fans either know or intuit that so long as the Haslams own the team, there is no hope of better days ahead? That despair and hopelessness are the only realistic path for Browns fans?

So yeah, Browns fans are pretty crass and ill mannered. The Browns organization deserves all the fan abuse that it gets. They started it.

Yeah, in light of the Haley firing, I pretty much have to retract those opinions which now don't withstand any scrutiny.

Looks like Dorsey/Haslam got sick and tired of Hue and Haley bickering and blew them both out of Berea.

jc..

Thought I posted this once...

Another season down the tubes with nothing but more change in future.

The Browns retool again as the coaching staff will be fired and all new coaching for the young players to learn under.

Next year will be "another rebuilding year" with new playbooks for everyone.

Ultimately, this all falls on the Haslams...these were their choices..time for Haslam's to sell the Browns IMO.

More recently, the Haslams, and over the longer run, continuous gross organizational incompetence. Decades of it.

They gutted a roster with quality players on it, Schwartz is probably the bets right tackle in football and we squabbled with him over chump change and he walked.

Hue was not a great coach but he never had a chance.

Needed a bigger house, bought one in Waite Hill. Cowher, Tressel, Saban, Urb, Bernie, Ferentz, they're all coming to coach in some capacity and moving in together.

Is it possible to die of deja vu like this? I mean over and over again. This is like a truly bad Groundhog Day. Win some games now! Oh, and the kicker thang. . . .

I think it was more than that, only 19 of the 53 from 2017 returned in 2018. That is 35% returning.

Main character from 'The Office' TV show.

Not a compliment.

During a candid conversation in "The Fire", Michael tells Ryan that he became a salesman because he loved to make friends. After being promoted to regional manager at a young age, he continued to treat work-related relationships as personal friendships. He acknowledges the difficulty because his colleagues are all lower than him in the workplace's hierarchy. He seems to have few relationships outside the office.

In his interactions with other characters, Michael is shallow, callous, ignorant and unaware of basic social norms. He tends to overestimate his own importance in the eyes of his coworkers and cannot understand why they do not share his enthusiasm. Michael believes an office should be the "place where dreams come true."

I will believe it when Haslam let's Dorsey hire the coach AND there is an organizational change where the coach reports to the GM and the GM reports to Haslam. Haslam is basically an incompetent jackass who Cleveland is saddled with as a bumbling owner. The sooner he sells the team the better.

After 55 years, I'm walking away from this dumpster fire. Good luck to everyone who continues to hang on. You'll need it.

We wanted to fire a guy how many weeks after we hired him?

Haslam is definitely a concern.
