I did my time. I just wanted to apologize for my language/approach in my last few posts.

Everyone has done time around here. These days I usually know beforehand that I am being put in time out but I deem it worth the penalty.

Hey they'll suspend you around here and not even spell out exactly what you said or did to get suspended. They'll label the offense, sometimes but never let you know what you said that caused it. Then sometimes they'll just say your suspended and not even give you a reason. lmao

I just decided I'll do what I do and let the chips fall where they may. It's not like i lose a lot of sleep over it anyway.

One thing I have figured out though. Those who claim the moniker #liberaltears do the most crying. lmao

Weird. I've been suspended a few times. I didn't care for it, but I certainly understood it. I guess I'm just logical, and fair when it comes to my suspensions.

I actually didn't say they weren't fair. Comprehension is your friend. I said I was never told what it was I said that I was suspended for. So I'm not sure what it was I said that got me suspended.

Now these folks do this for free and the board is free, so I don't mind when they do it. I just know that people have whined to cause it and it's funny they label others as the whiners. It's hilarious!

So I'm going to be me and not worry about it. If that offends you or I've struck a nerve with you? Too damned bad. lmao

As you said, comprehension is your friend. At some point, you may try that? I've never had to have an explanation for when I got banned.

I don't think it's that difficult to observe the rules. I was suspended once years ago - I think it was a week - came back, got the explanation and that was it.

There's nothing quite like going to the Dawgtalkers website like you normally do and not being able to view anything. Initially you think, huh, what's happening? And then you see the word suspended or banned! Happened to me a couple weeks ago because I posted a YouTube video with bad language in it.

One would think so. Yet if you post in pretty much the exact same manner for years with no suspensions, then suddenly, bam, bam bam, it tends to make one wonder. lmao

I've dodged the ban hammer so far, but I don't think I push it as far as some.

If you delete your cookies you can come on the board and just read. You just cant log in and respond to anything.

But maybe we could get more of an explanation when we are banned so we know in the future, I know I have gotten banned and had no idea what I said that I was banned for.

Incognito only works in your browser. It prevents your browser from saving history and such.

The server still knows who you are, and that you were there.

Incognito is such a hoax.

You're really not having fun until you bang yourself over the head with the ban hammer.

I don't think I've ever gotten the ban hammer. I've had posts deleted, a few for my own content, but mostly because of quoting/replying to others. Normally when I make a post that's way out of line, I edit it myself because I do try to keep with the community spirit here.

I didn't see the post you were talking about, but the politics section does see the occasional post that is *way* out of line and the person deserves the suspension they get-- sometimes they don't see it like that though.

I know of 2 guys who got banned and signed in under new names to post.

They really got hammered for that.

One was gone so long he had grandchildren while out and I think they may have killed the other guy.

Nay, he's locked in a basement, with 20 years worth of food. They did brick the door shut though.

It happens. You can go to ANY thread and study up on how to constantly instigate with no repercussions.

I'll tell you though, if you've never been banned and want to get closer just take a visit to the "Alus Politicus" section of the boards.

Having stupidly spent some time in that forum .... I can say that I think that 1st word's 2nd letter might be 2 shy of what it should be.
