So, I thought Korver was fouled/

Not that it matters

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Jeudy is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Tillman is flanked out wide to the right. Judkins and Ford are split in the backfield as Flacco takes the snap ... Here we go."

he absolutely was, three times in about 2 seconds. But Osman was the reason we lost, he couldn't stay with Fournier to save his life and he torched us getting magic back in the game and ultimately winning it, plus his turnovers.. all he had to do was hold the ball and shoot FT...the shot clock was already off. But its not like it matters much, we need that lottery pick more than we need wins in november

it does make me smile a little that lebron is struggling out in LA.. He's got a worse team than the cavs, his usage is high. His stats are down across the board. Its obvious winning wasn't that important to him. Put him back on this team and we're probably leading the east again. I'm surprised boston hasn't been more dominate. I thought they'd take another step this year

It would be funny if the Lakers didn't even make the playoffs. It's not out of the question. Last season, the Timberwolves were the 8th seed in the west at 47-35 while the Nuggets missed out at 46-36.

That was pretty unusual though.

I thought I mentioned this awhile ago here. It wouldn't be completely surprising. Lebron has generally liked to "coast" during the November-January months, saving his body for the post-season. In the East, he could get away with it, as the teams were generally weaker, and his supporting cast could win games when he was playing at 60%. Not to mention, 50 wins would get you into the top 4 seeds. Now he's in the West where he's playing much tougher opponents. more often. Like you mention, he's also going to have to get ~47 or more wins to get the 8th seed, so it's no longer a cake-walk just to get to the playoffs.

I still think they'll get in, but Lebron will risk being all worn out just getting there.

I still think they make it, but he's gonna have to do A LOT

This Doncic kid from Dallas is pretty good. Very smooth moves. Good body control. Feathery touch. I like what I'm seeing from this dude.

John Wall is a talented player, but I don't like his 'tude. Seems negative and a "me" guy. Washington needs to blow that roster up.

they should've traded beal. he's a good player but him and Wall just don't play well together, especially in the clutch.

Watching Zion Williamson play right and the Cavs will be a great spot to take him. Keep adding those ping pong balls to the hopper.

The guy is a force on the court. Excellent feet and quickness for a guy of his size.

Hell, RJ Barrett could be an option, too.

I think RJ is the better player. Zion is a physical freak and he never shows his weight until he shoots the ball. Then he looks like he's 6'7 and 280 lbs. He'll be a freak in the NBA, but I'm not sure he has the body dimensions to be a #1 player on a team. Maybe if he was coming out 10 years ago, but there's still quite a few real big men, and not the stick figures we're seeing. I kinda want to see him on the Hawks with Tre Young. I actually think Reddish will be the second best player from Duke, but he's super passive on the court. I think we'll end up drafting Nasir Little and try to build a defensive minded team so Sexton and Cedi can feel like major contributors.

Drafting for defense is a thing of the past IMO. The game is so geared towards offense that defense doesn't matter, and I hate to admit it

This would not be a good strategy. Therefore, Altman will probably do it.

If given the opportunity, I don't see how they could possibly pass on Zion or RJ. It's a long way to the June draft.

Think the Cavs keep him? Like his hustle, but we lost because he was busy hurting us IMO.

Here is a list of the top dozen players in one mock draft that I found. I picked this one because it had the most succinct summary of each player without going into team needs. Thought people might want some names to start scouting during the college season.

R.J. Barrett, SF, Duke, 6-7, Fr.
A complete all-around player, the Canadian is an elite athlete who has great handles and can score from all over the floor.

Romeo Langford, SG, Indiana, 6-5, Fr.
A true scorer with elite jumping ability, Langford can score from the outside but is a terror when attacking the basket.

Zion Williamson, F, Duke, 6-6, Fr.
Williamson is a very unique prospect in that he is an undersized power forward, but one crazy athletic, explosive and physical forward.

Cameron Reddish, SF, Duke, 6-7, Fr.
Versatility is the name of the game for Reddish. He is the prototypical NBA small forward with tremendous athleticism and the ability to impact the game on both end of the floor.

Quentin Grimes, SG, Kansas, 6-5, Fr.
The MVP of the U-18 FIBA Americas this summer, Grimes is a two-way player who gets it done on both ends of the floor. He could also play either guard position due to his handles and ability to the get to the tin.

Nassir Little, SF, North Carolina, 6-7, Fr.
Little is always in attack mode due to his athleticism and strength, but he has also developed a good stroke from the outside.

Nazreon Reid, PF, LSU, 6-10, Fr.
A physically gifted, athletic big man, Reid can also put the ball on the floor and create off the bounce.

Keldon Johnson, G/F, Kentucky, 6-6, Fr.
Johnson is a high-flying wing who is at his best in the open floor and driving the rock.

Bol Bol, C, Oregon, 7-2, Fr.
Manute's son is long and wiry, just like his father. He is a major factor at the rim defensively, but his offensive game needs to develop.

Rui Hachimura, F, Gonzaga, 6-8, Jr
Born in Japan, Hachimura is a versatile forward who is at his best when attacking the tin. He should be one of the breakout stars in college hoops this coming season.

Sekou Doumbouya, F, France, 6-9, 2000.
With great length and solid build, the Guinea native is a versatile talent who can play a point forward-type position.

Zach Norvell Jr., SG, Gonzaga 6-5, Soph.
The Chicago native is one of my early favorites to keep an eye on this upcoming season. He has good size for an NBA two guard, is explosive at the rim, and also has a nice stroke from the perimeter.

I agree, I don't care how defensive minded you are - you are not shutting down a team like golden state. just not going to happen. You have to be able to put up 120 and hope you get a FEW key stops to keep them 119 and under.

You can tell this is a Brown's site trying to talk about the Cavs. We had the best player in the game and went to 4 straight Finals and all people did was b....! Now, those same people are excited about draft choices. LMAO!

We actually played well tonight despite the loss. Sucks seeing Cedi go out with back spasms.

I have seen some ugly uniforms, and while they are not as ugly as the Steelers prison cell uniforms, they are close.

In those uniforms why wouldn't they have just gone with the maroon instead of the purple/blue?

It would have looked much better.

Those colors clash.

Competitive advantage. Do you realize how hard it is to make a 3 pointer when you are bent over laughing? Only way to stop Steph Curry!
