Walker is up by 0.02% with 93% in, per AP.
Razor thin there.

Advantage Walker. He has something like 4 to 1 precincts where he is strongest over his opponent that haven't reported yet. What are the size of those precincts though? It's down to a 600 vote difference right now. Man I hate typing on this tablet. The Democrats broke my computer! It only takes one vote my man, one vote.

The one thing I dislike most about dems is that they are not cutthroat enough to make good deals with Republicans. That doesn't make any sense. If you use cutthroat tactics, it isn't a good deal. A good deal is when everybody walks away winning something and losing something. That is what we need to get back to in this country.

Well we will now get the chance to see the Democrats actually govern instead of resisting. Oh yeah sopena power bro. And is that what the GOP house has been doing for 8 years? Their numbers are record lows that no one has ever seen before or ever again. The Senate and WH is next. Just getting started. Enjoy.

Dead Nevada brothel owner wins Nevada Assembly race https://www.foxnews.com/entertainment/dead-nevada-brothel-owner-poised-to-win-nevada-assembly-raceA Nevada brothel owner and reality TV star who died last month after fashioning himself as a Donald Trump-style Republican candidate has won a heavily GOP state legislative district. Dennis Hof defeated Democratic educator Lesia Romanov on Tuesday in the race for Nevada's 36th Assembly District, which includes rural communities and large stretches of desert in the southern part of the state. County officials will appoint a Republican to take his place in the seat. Hof was found dead Oct. 16 after a weekend of parties celebrating his 72nd birthday. Officials are still determining his cause of death, but they don't suspect foul play. Hof owned a handful of brothels in Nevada, the only state that allows them to legally operate. Hof starred in the HBO adult reality series "Cathouse" and wrote a book titled "The Art of the Pimp," akin to Trump's book "The Art of the Deal."

Many of the new Democrats say they won't vote for her to be speaker. Time will tell. Personally, I think this goes 1 of 2 ways. Those in the house actually try to get things done or they do everything in their power to get Trump out of office and have investigation after investigation. I think if they go with the latter they will lose again in 2020. Look at the races, outside of NY its central Dems that are mostly winning races like Connor Lamb. Just think of the sheer all out hatred that has been thrown out towards trump, and the fact they PICKED up seats in the Senate tells you people are aware of it, and if you don't do your job, you will be out on your butt. Nah. A good deal is one in which you get what you what. A hostage negotiator doesn't get half the hostages and later say he did a good job negotiating.

That's why they were pressured to vote Yes on Kavanaugh. To help keep their seat. Heidi was actually polled to lose before the Kavanaugh stuff, like back in August.

The majority if American populous is sick of the Left/Right. They want people in office that are going to get things done, and if that means going across the aisle and making a deal - or voting for what your constituents want and not what Chuck or Mitch want - then so be it. That's exactly how the Reps gained control over Obama, and that's exactly what happened in the house races last night. I have no doubt in my mind, that Nancy and Maxine and Schiff will not learn this lesson and continue to create a divide- nothing will get done but rhetoric - and will be thrown out again in 2 years if they don't.

During the Bush years they had to double the number of white house attorneys due to Democrat lawsuits, all while fighting the Iraq war and they didn't have enough.
Things will be much the same with Trump but history shows it is survivable and things can still get done.

Nancy been saying all week that Democrats have always been the party if compromise and that they will be willing negotiators with the Republicans.
You're forgetting that Democrats don't love to be divisive, they love to be self-righteous. Republicans love to have it their way. Democrats will appease them to be thought of as the good guys. For corporate slaves they somehow cannot fathom that actual capital beats social capital. That's why everyone hates them.

But I don't agree that they are going to be willing to compromise. Not until I see it. They refused to work after the dems lost under Obama - and nothing about the rhetoric over the last two years tells me they will going forward. The republicans didn't learn from this, and they lost the house yesterday. And round and round we go.

My final thoughts on this election is that it went pretty well. Everyone has something to crow about, Democrats took the House, Republicans expand their power in the Senate. Perhaps now there will be no need for blood in the streets as some Democrats were calling for, while Mob rule is no longer necessary because they have some power. There is also a counter for those who think Trump is looking to be a dictator and such. Trumps economic agenda is safe and his judicial appointments will roll through more easily. The Market, I believe is going to like this new arrangement so those who are investing will be making the mon-nahy. Overall...

Manchin is in a republican controlled state that trump won by like 20+ points, maybe even higher I cant remember off hand. But he won his seat as a Dem in a rep controlled state. My post is still correct. Every democrat senator that lost a seat voted against kavanaugh, the only one that kept his seat, voted for kav, and he was in a HEAVILY red Trump state.

GOP will set the agenda in Legislature
Republicans will control all three branches of Ohio government for the next few years, ensuring GOP priorities such as tax cuts, reducing regulations for businesses and abortion restrictions will continue.
Ohio Right to Life, the state's largest anti-abortion organization, praised Tuesday night's results.
"This absolute sweep is a reminder that Ohio continues to be a pro-life state, no matter how loud pro-abortion advocates scream," Ohio Right to Life Executive Director Mike Gonidakis said in a statement. "With Mike DeWine at the helm, Ohio can be sure that the incredible pro-life progress we've seen over the last eight years will continue for the next four." https://www.cincinnati.com/story/news/po...lts/1915179002/

Yes I voted for Dewine. Number 1 because of his stance on abortion. Number 2 because Dick Cordray is worse than Hillary Clinton. Dewine may also screw me over when it comes to social security, medicare, and healthcare.

Trump must reckon with new realities in wake of the election https://www.cnn.com/2018/11/07/politics/donald-trump-path-forward-midterms/index.htmlAnd trump doesn’t appear to happy. Wonder why.

Perhaps you missed the discussions. he absolutely was not supposed to lose. he was up 8 points in about every poll, buddy. There was talk he COULD lose, because WV is a such a red state that voted heavily for trump, yes. Talk about could and SHOULD are two different things. And that TALK only came across when it was in question if he was going to vote for Kav or not. The left realized that if he did vote no, he would have a much higher chance of losing his seat. THAT is the only reason he voted yes. His seat. Since he broke with the Dems and voted for him - he won easily and handedly.

How about this, lets say you agreed with Cordray on 99% of his views, but he said "I hate all black people and want to enslave them". you would vote for him because its only "one issue" you disagreed with? if the one issue you agree with is the most important issue to YOU as a voter, then that's your decision. Its not "stupid", its his right and beliefs. smh.

I just can't put a price on slaughtering babies. If I bend of my beliefs that $100 a year, or $1,000 per year, or $100,00 a year in my pocket is blood money and not worth it to me then I wouldn't be much of a man would I? That would be like you voting for a Democrat who was all for letting folks shoot and kill their own kids under the age of ten, and he was all for giving Vets an extra 100,000 per year from the government. You wouldn't go against your belief that shooting children and killing them was OK.

I love the massively extreme examples you and willit are using to justify that yet again, you voted for against your own interest over something that doesn’t even effect you. You and YTown are gonna make other threads about how broken your bodies are, how ridiculous healthcare coverage and cost is, but then justify voting GOP cause “my religion and babies”. I love you bro, but you already know imma roast you over this.

The GOPer vote has NOTHING to do with rather house dems get thrown out. It's up to dems to make sure they vote for or against other dems. It's simple math.
