I finally got the 360 this afternoon! Picked up the elite version and got Madden and Call of Duty 3. Anyways I played Halo and other games with a few of you and just wanted to let you guys know my name on XBL is "ThreeThree7". I must say the games look nice on my HDTV! I am so pumped to finally have one. So now I am back to get my ass kicked in Halo once again

LoL, damn dude I think I'll make another profile w/that name Madden is so much better on 360 vs reg X-BoX,, wow! The menu's are confusing though but the gameplay and picture quality is amazing!

I love 360 it's so awesome especially playing it on an hd tv the picture is mind blowing.

Yeah it really is. I have only played Madden thus far but the picture is friken awesome in 1080i  Is there any noticeable difference between using the HDMI cable vs the reg HD Hookup RCA jacks? Cause I have my Direct TV connected w/the HDMI cable right now and can't use it.

I thought that was fixed? If anything I got the 2 year protection plan from Best Buy so I'll just take it back

Haha, I'm not gonna lie im a Sony guy but I have a 360 and thanks to best buy's replacement plan I'm going to be getting the upgrade to the Elite system, and then I'm going to eventually get a 24 inch LCD tv to play it on

How do you like NCAA 08? I buy the Madden and NCAA games every year. My wife was watching me play Call of Duty and she wants to get a game. Anyone know a game similar to Boulders Gate for the 360? She really liked that game.

NCAA08 is better than Madden this year IMO. Madden is extremely better on the next gen this year compared to last, but overall I like NCAA. I like both though.

I have to agree with 2119. NCAA is awesome. It's a great game and it's real realistic they make notre dame's offensive line bad. I love it.

yep mine is still being repaired now.... but i must say x-box has been great... I cant wait to get it back got Madden 08 at home un-opened... when I get it back look for me guys sdot007

I was close to getting that but I like it on the PC better.
Anyone have Call of Duty 3? I love that game and it could be a good one for all of us to play one night. Maybe even the demo if u can play it online.
I wish they had more old school games for free. Whats up with these MS points anyways?

If anyone else has one, a review would be appreciated. I'm pumped for Halo 3. We'll all be playing that when it comes out right?
I want the Cleveland Browns to be my pallbearers so they can let me down for the last time.

no, dont get it. I got a wireless adapter off of Ebay for $20. Recommended by the poster (LeBron_James) from this board and it works great. I dont remember the name off hand, I will have to check when I get home.

Halo 3?? Why so I can get my ass kicked from start to finish? lol. Yeah man it's on like donkey kong, I will pick it up when it comes out.
I actually did the opposite. The router and modem are near my TV and I got a wireless network going on for the desktop and laptop. Works good for me b/c I didn't have a phone jack in the dining room where my desktop is.

I have the actual Microsoft Wireless Adapter, and it works great. Connection is fast, no down times etc. I've never read about after market adapters, so you're on your own.
As for Halo 3, I have it reserved. Let me know when we will game.
Anyone get Two Worlds??

No XBL?!?!....you suck  I have the Linksys wireless adapter and it works pretty good along with my N router. It was on clearance at Walmart for $25 so I picked it up...ahhh sweet deal. I've heard the official Xbox 360 adapter works pretty good too. I will be up for some Halo 3 when it comes out....it's been a while since I've got to whoop up on you  BTW...I just recently got myself a PS3. If you have any spare cash laying around you should get one...

I've got XBox 360 with the wireless adapter and it's perfect. It runs beautifully. It's small and compact, which is nice. It was also $100. The one 2119 posted is quite a bit cheaper, but looks more clunky, so it's personal preference.

Its not clunky at all, the adapter is very small, fits in your hand. The width is smaller than your 360 controller, and the height is the same as the width.

I have that too. There's no lag on it for me at least. If you have a fast wireless network you should be good.

I am more than happy to forget about Madden... Glitches are horrible, I fumbled 5 times in the first half in a game before, WHILE covering the ball. I miss 2k5, let me tell you.

I finally picked one up tonight! I got the pro with ultimate alliance, and Forza motorsport coming with it. No HDMI cables though.
Does anybody know how much of a difference there is between the standard cable, and the HDMI cables?

It looks and sounds a little better than it does by just using the component cables. Also, it means less cables hanging around the back of your tv. If you search around you can find HDMI cables for pretty cheap online....so you don't have to go out and spend $50 on a set.
