guys, just remember this:
No turnovers, and no sacks today. Thats amazing, considering we have Greg Robinson at LT...Swish do you know what our penalty count was? I was so elated to find out last week we only had 4 last week! I know we had some iffy penalties all year, and the same ran true this game...just curious. Looked like we are playing smarter...well except down near the goal lines.

Someone will come along and poo-poo this... I.m not going to poo-poo this - but anyone who has watched Barkley must know that the guy is a crazy special back.
The more things change the more they stay the same.

As someone point out - we throw a trick pass play that was a turnover leading to the first Atlanta points.

I'm not saying we'll do it, but it will be possible to win out the rest of the way.
Not one unwinnable game.
I'm interested to see what this team could do with some confidence and momentum. One game at a time. I'll feel better about the rest of the season if we can get a win in Cincy.

Mayfield TD throw to Higgins. Wow.
Mayfield throw to Callaway third and long backed up in own end zone. Wow++ Rosen was much calmer - and he didn't create a scene in the locker room, so much more impressive than Baker and his stats. WTF, go root for the Cards then... Notice the purple

I would like to add that Carrie played a very good game today. He was on Julio for most of the game and did a very good job.
We scored TDs today. Running and passing.
The team just looked like they have had enough, time to win. Effort was outstanding

Swish we did have one Int. On tv they kept showing bakers stat line as 3 td and 1 Int. Did he throw an Int that I am forgetting or is that the Int thrown by the rb? Great game by our qb and our fb and the guys who block for them. Also great ref effort!!

Are people finally ready to say Jarvis Landry was not only a bad trade, but a bad extension as well?
I am. I thought he was a decent acquisition for a 4th rounder. NOPE. I don't think so. Get a number one in here and I think Landry will flourish. Right now they are trying to force him the ball to keep him happy which isn't good. But he's a good player and will be even more valuable next year if we can secure a legit #1. That won't make a difference whatsoever. Look at game logs and see how times times Landry is targeted and his receptions. None of that will increase with a better WR. It will go down. If fact, it starting to go down without a #1 WR. The guy has zero TD upside and is soooo overrated.
At DT, context and meaning are a scarecrow kicking at moving goalposts.

Chubb did something today 4 HOFers (Motley, Mitchell, Brown and Kelly) never did along with Greg and Mike Pruitt, Kevin Mack, Ernest Byner and Leroy Hoard to name a few when he went 92 yards for a TD that is a star being born in Cleveland Boys ...

He may be a bit overrated but he's a good player that is part of the solution, IMO.
Unless you think he's holding the team back for some reason.
And full disclosure, I'm not a fan of his personality. I think he hurts the team with his 'tude sometimes.
LOL - The Rish will be upset with this news as well. KS just doesn't prioritize winning...

Post game interview
Mayfield on having 3 tds doing well, " I woke up today feeling dangerous".
On chubb's 92 yard run, "It was a really great handoff" followed by a laugh. and an explanation of blocking and running lanes.
Also when told he's been on the opposite end of a good Chubb day, said He saw red for a moment and it's great to have him on "his" team this time.
Had all the reporters laughing, radio broadcast called it the Baker late night talk show.
edit: 92 yard, not 90, 92, a new team record

no turnovers, no sacks, few penalties .. world of difference
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

When you aren’t being penalized a football field worth of yardage you can have success

Yes, it was Hilliard who threw the pick, but hey it gives our opponents sonething else to prepare for. We can't complain about the Freddie's game plan either. Great win with time to celebrate, get healthy and prepair for the next game. So who do we vote for?; for rookie of the week, because both Baker and Chubb are deserving.

I saw a team play well in all three phases and soundly defeat a pretty good team. Best Browns performance in years.
It feels like a weight has been lifted from this team. That's really how it should have been a week ago, but the Chiefs had other ideas. That's the level we need to get to.
One turnover, no sacks, just all around more disciplined play. This is huge, games in the NFL are tight and careless mistakes lose games.
I remember back when the Walrus was leading the show here and said that you don't really want a situation where you have a rookie QB and a rookie RB, but-- referring to Richardson and Weeden-- "if you had to do that, those are the two guys you would do it with."
Right idea, wrong players! Mayfield and Chubb on the other hand, those are two rookies you can do it with. It'll be exciting to see them grow. Add in Ward and maybe others and this could be a truly special draft.

I thought it was funny, all of the Fox pregame commentators chose the Falcons as the "Lock" to win. Then they did not mention how wrong they were in the post game show.

They figured nobody was watching. But choke on your own gargled snark Fox! Winners! And let's cover that and push it up front like your other dismissive drivel. Make over a great effort and a huge win that overcame drama AND obviously hostile media treatment.
You were wrong in more than one way. Paybacks.

Vote early and often. Maybe a joint award. But wouldn't this give the Browns about 7 out of 9 or 10? That is amazing in itself if true. Not sure of the totals, but I think it is close. Corrections eagerly sought and humbly accepted.

Baker Mayfield now has as many wins as a starter as Johnny Manziel.
And, while he has as many INTs as Johnny had in his career, Baker already has six more TD's than Manziel.
Such a great day for him and Chubb today! 3 passing TD's for Baker, one rushing and one receiving TD for Chubb... both accounting for over 200 yards of offense each.
Absolutely incredible day!
Browns is the Browns
... there goes Joe Thomas, the best there ever was in this game.
