Pre Game all the so called experts making their UPSET Win and LOCK to win picks. Atlanta Lock, Atlanta Lock, Atlanta Lock...Schmucks! lol laugh

I saw a Championship Defense in the making with injuries galore come up big series after series.

I saw one of the most amazing throws as Baker was scrambling to his right and then on the full run throw a strike 30 yards down field to Higgins for the TD. That throw was simply AMAZING!

I saw us driving again and showing a new look with 3 running backs two on each side of Baker and one behind. It was confusing the Falcons although the runs were nothing spectacular. But the passes especially to one of the RBs was working. THEN WE GOT TO GET TOO SMART! No need, we are moving the ball. We pitch it to Hilliard as he goes right - Baker does a Wheel right and is pretty well covered but has a yard on the defender. Hilliard throws up a floater and no route to take the safety away. INT with a decent return...we had a laugher turn into a game that didn't need to be that close!

I'll get the negatives out of the way cause there was so so much good positives out there.

We got a decent lead in the 4th and we got 3rd and 2 with a QB so so accurate why run it up the middle for no gain! I'm yelling at the TV with my wife stating that they cannot here me.
DON'T PLAY TO NOT LOSE! PLAY TO WIN!!

Then again all we need is first down as the Falcons were using their Time outs and we do a draw play on 3rd and 8...again yelling PLAY TO WIN...Don't play to NOT LOSE!!!

Then finally with a 12 point lead I'm saying ok 4 minutes they have no time outs...all we got to do is recover the on side kick and the game will be OVER!

But our defense kicked in and it was beautiful to see a Matty Ice crying and yelling and screaming on the sidelines as the went 4 and out!

What I saw out there was how important Schobert is to this team as he put our Defense in perfect position play after play.

What I saw was excellent adjustments by our coaching staff as they had a good game going with their play action boot leg...remnants from a Shanahan play book. The second half we had that thing well played and it was perfect for us as we nailed that shut.

What I saw was the reason why we traded Hyde as once again Dorsey knows what he is doing. Chubb not just the Brown's record 93? yard run but throughout the last 3 weeks carrying defenders on his back. Strong, Fast and he showed that he could catch the ball also! The kid was GREAT!

What I saw was the Falcons in a 4th and one and going for it. They went Wildcat and was running it up the middle for the First...on the replay you see Larry flailing his arms trying to get away from the defender and make the tackle for NO GAIN...you see in plain sight the OLman with both arms from behind Larry around Larry's waist as in completely around the waist and locked up holding him back. What I saw was once again NO FLAG.

What I saw was a lame Pass Interference with the announcers once again stating there was none and a bad call which gave the Falcons Goal to go inside our 5. Then what I saw was an amazing goal line stand breaking the backs of the Falcons.
Schobert making all the right calls.

I saw an almost perfect Baker Mayfield throw not only completions but throws that were right perfect by the inch into the hands of our WRs and he spread that ball around.

I saw a WR that might end up a steal for us. Perriman, excellent routes, no bobbles, great speed.

I saw Duke once again get the ball in space and utilized well.

Man I like Kitchens outside of the cute trick plays. He has this team playing well on the O. I saw a rejuvinized Robinson playing LT and is so so into the game like I never saw him before. Bitonio is so freaking good what a solid blocker and the entire OL played well.

I saw Julio really taken out of the game and he hardly did any damage at all. Our revamped and limping secondary making play after play. I also so #54 Vallejo making some plays.

I even saw Collins have his best game of the season. He actually played with Enthusiasm.

I'm so glad for EVE Dawg as she broke her AT THE GAME LOSS STREAK. That must have been so much FUN for you Eve! Happy for you wink

Can't say I saw a great catch cause every throw seemed to be so spot on that there was no chance of dropping it.

I hope all who were reluctant to admit it now see that we Got a great QB on this team. Great rookie RB and you know what, Calloway getting better each and every week as he ran good routes and held onto the ball!

I saw Peppers miss a tackle late in the game to give up a TD but prior to that I saw him make an excellent stop of Coleman at the 1 foot line stopping Coleman who looked to have an easy TD run get stopped...BOOM! right on the spot. That was in that Goal to Go Stop that we made.

Even our kicker made all his extra points. We did not have a FG try. Colquitt had another good game so that our ST, O and D outplayed the Falcons and we actually had our first EASY win in a long time!

Left a lot out there for you all.

Oh and for all those well wishers and prayers, thank you. My Tumor shrunk so that it was not visible and they took a biopsy at the location marked by a tatoo to see if completely gone or a little surgery is needed! Thank you all!

Prayers out to GM lets all pray for him as he continues his tough battle against this disease. He's too proud to ask for prayers but please, let all say a good prayer for him as I believe in the power of Prayer!!!

Go Browns.

What did you see, I'm leaving now to go play GOLF!!!

I’ll keep it short, but what I saw that delighted me to no end was our receivers blocking during Chubb runs. That 92 yarder where Calloway had his man stuck directing traffic was lovely. And Jarvis keeps pusnishing defenders.

That was awesome. Shielding his guy to the right and waving Chubb to the left.

I saw more discipline, simpler play calling, a GOOD rookie QB and RB

That was a nice team win.

Nothing to add really. Saw a great game. The trick play turnover could've been a back breaker sending the team into a tailspin but that didn't happen and we retained control pretty much the entire game. The team played with heart, enthusiasm, and executed really well. The lack of penalties and the relatively few ref interferences was refreshing to see. Even special teams looked capable. Great game. On to the bye, then on to Cincy. I really want to see us beat them in their house. We need a road win.

I don't think so - to me there were 3 backs - but I don't think they were in a power formation which is what I consider the wishbone.... I could easily be wrong, as the wishbone is not something I am deeply familiar with.... it's far too cutting edge! tongue

Great recap as always Tab - and great to hear your health news is positive.

Quick thoughts on the game:

- A very complete performance on offense and great play calling . . . . I say it was great, not because of the score and results, but because when the team had third and short yardage (3-4 yards) in every other game this year the the D would stack the box and rush Baker and simply stifle us .... yesterday Atlanta (weak D I'll give you) didn't risk trying to stack the box or send a zero blitz. Yesterday it looked and felt that the Browns had plays we could execute 'regardless' of the D. (meaning if they stacked the box we had a play designed and ready - if they were short zone we had a play ready ... etc).

- Great execution. The TD throw to Chubb was beautifully drawn up and executed. All game the receivers did their jobs and got a little separation and then caught the ball.

- 7 penalties. 2 of which came on our 1 yard line. No big deal. 2 others came on a series of 3 straight penalties Browns-ATL-Browns.... just better discipline and awareness all round.

- Chubb ran well all game, patient, hard, short area burst and tough, hard running. And for a big man he is fast!

- Other than the score on a short field because of the interception - D did a really excellent job of stiffling ATL and making it tough for them.

- Lots of good things. Hopefully I saw the start of a culture change. And I think Williams for that. I am truly surprised at the level of preparedness and competence he has shown as HC.... if this continues I will be rooting for him and Kitchens to be considered full time.

I was digging the 3 RB set .. got too cute of course, but I thought it showed some nice (and rather safe) wrinkles and possibilities.

It shows that we know RB is our strength

Great news Eotab!

I saw a trick play where Baker tried to pretend he was walking to sideline cuz of confusion, ball snaps to RB. It didn’t work and got a penalty for not setting before snap.

Towards end, saw Atlanta score a touchdown that didn’t count. Looked like their te was in end zone when he caught ball and pushed out. Atlanta did not challenge. They ended up getting touchdown, but lost over a minute off clock. Glad it wasn’t close so people would have discounted how well Browns played.

Energy and accuracy of Baker was back. Wonder if let it rip comments by GW helped baker mentally.

Was right amount of pressure at right times...seemed to be balanced. It wasn’t non stop blitzing.

Atlanta had the ball toward end of game with 4th down. Marty ice gets hit and fumbles. One of their guys picks it up...I’m thinking oh no! He gets hit and then fumbles it. Our guy recovers. It looked like something from follys and we did it to them! Good laugh and great play for a stop. I guess you can call it a sack/fumble/fumble 😊

We out coached them. Atlanta seemed lost and surprised all game. Good win! Love Kitchens!

It was a FUN hit! laugh

I saw us play a very respectable Falcons team and beat them in every phase.

I saw us make plays, little plays like picking up a first down... and big explosive back-breaking plays like Chubbs run..

I did see some mental mistakes down the stretch that could have cost us but didn't... guys trying to do too much when it wasn't necessary...

I saw a Special Teams unit that was completely, entirely unremarkable... and I loved it.

No big plays given up and the plays that are expected to be made were made. It was beautiful.

After rewatching the game I saw that Garrett played a good game he pressured Ryan quit a bit but he was robbed of 1 sack, I think we have to many rushers with numbers with 5 in them, Garrett #95, Avery #55, Ogynjobi #65, Collins #51 Vallejo #54 and Smith #50 It is confusing at times superconfused

Great news as expected. You are on your way.

First things first. Baker was as good as we can possible expect. His ball placement was exceptional. Which follows timing and accuracy.

We scored touchdowns not field goals. We scored four touchdowns in three quarters.

The defense held down a very good offensive team. Schobert is a important guy. Very instinctive player.

Having lived in Georgia I was very familiar with Chubb. He had a bad knee injury. You can see he has recovered his full speed. He pulled away from guys. He is showing what he can do.

During the draft process I listened to Sequon Barkley say the guy he really liked as a runner was Chubb.

Kitchens has displayed an offense inside of what Haley was doing. Balanced, and incorporating all players. The ball was spread around. Everybody got touches.

We got very good play from inside the OL. Bitonio was outstanding in run blocking along with Tretter and Zeitler.

Winning is just sooo cool. It puts hope in your step.

Excited to see the next game.

Great post and sent some for GM. Fight on, pal.

I saw a team starting to catch fire from each other. That chemistry is possible her in The Land. It was so good to see it coming on as we took control of the game.

Objectively, they honestly failed to make some plays, and the failures on offense were more the folks ' doing than our D. But we had plenty of will. Great notch!

You pretty much covered it all.

One thing I saw not mentioned is the great catch by Njoku where he wrestled the defender for the ball then dragged 4 Falcons along for the ride while maintaining possession. He's coming along nicely.

I saw Jabrill Peppers SPIKE that RB at the goal line like he was a football. LOL what a monster hit. I'm his biggest critic but that play was BIG TIME.

That was a heck of a play by Njoku. He's had some nice moments this year. I hope he becomes more consistent.

I saw the Browns utilize 3 RBs...3...in one game...sometimes all at once.

I was conditioned to believe that only our opponents could get contributions from their 3rd+ RB
