Julio is still a beast. Steve Sarkisian is just a moron. This is their second year in a row with an offensive dip in production. The fact that he isn't really targeted in the endzone this year is mind-boggling. Add to that what he’s done to Coleman .. he was one of the best recieving weapons out of the backfield in the history of the game under Shanny .. crap ... he beat Seattle’s D when it was STILL VAUNTED basically with Coleman catching passes .. he literally was the #1 reason they DESTROYED SEATTLES D WHEN IT WAS STILL VAUNTED ... Coleman is a GREAT RECIEVING BACK ... He was finally used last week against Washington as a reciever for the FIRST TIME ALL YEAR ... yesterday ... he hardly ever went anywhere other than the flat ... like Julio .. it’s MIND BOGGLING ... Sark’s HORRIBLE ... he said he wasn’t going to change shanny’s O much, a few tweets is all .. it looks nothing like it .. and its GONE DOWNHILL way more than it should have after Shanny left .. theres gonna be a dip when Shanny leaves anywhere .. hes a TRUE OFFENSIVE GENIUS ... the thiefs powers negated him here ... *L* ..

Its a BYE WEEK DUDE ... Lose the microscope ... have some fun ... Even during a bye week the team can have guys come in on Monday. We have accomplished nothing and are getting days off. It was dumb when Hue did it and it's dumb now.

I think having Duke and Chubb on the field at the same time helped mask our intentions quite a bit.

I think having Duke and Chubb on the field at the same time helped mask our intentions quite a bit. They were only on the field together a few plays. What masked our intentions the most was having two tight end on the field the majority of the time. Two tight on the field, base defense. Pass.

No .. u said something MORONIC ... i pointed it out ... U wanna go on a case by case basis .. WE AGREE ... if u said that instead of framing it with this game and us doing it to what is a PURE COMPLIMENTARY reciever witch is STUPID you would not have heard from me .... Bottom line dude .. you don’t know enough to emberass me ... I just GAVE ONE EXAMPLE ... i may give one or two more .. thats more time than your worth but since u wanted to dance ... i’ll engage when you say REALLY REALLY STUPID STUFF ... Again, me embarrassing you had nothing to do with football. You can try to change the focus but it won't help. But since you brought it up, I've copied the quote you called MORONIC and the preceding quotes I was responding to. Break it down. Why was this MORONIC? I found it interesting that Ward was more focused on Ridley that Jones. WE must have been more wary of him. I think we used a group effort on Julio and let Ward take Ridley away by himself. Solid idea, I think. I would do this every single game where teams have more than one great receiver.

Chubb wouldn't sit while the O was off the field.
Coach came over told him to "SIT" ... and he did.
Then coach went cozied right up to him ans sat there. Chubb looked uber uncomfortable and the commentators caught it - it was darn right funny.
The more things change the more they stay the same.

I have to say that we ran a couple of plays that I've seen the Rams run over and over with success. One was the screen pass to Chubb for the TD and the other was a play action pass and Chubb ended up being wide open for a big gain.

That screen to Chubb for a TD was a tricky, well executed play. Very nice
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

That screen to Chubb for a TD was a tricky, well executed play. Very nice The Rams run some variation of that play like five times a game. The thing is that now that it is on tape, we ran hand the ball off to Chubb, give it the receiver on the end around, or run the screen. Misdirection is a huge friend of most of the NFL successful offenses (specifically the Rams and the Chiefs) these days.

Ok. I am back from Cleveland. And exhausted. It's now time for the color commentary. I told you all I had never attended a Browns game that they won. EVER. The last game I saw Manziel was QB and it sucked hardcore. So. My story starts on Saturday. I flew in and took the train to hotel over on the east side. My Bro and his gf were driving in from Erie Pa. They got into town late because I guess there was some snow and 90 was shut down for a bit. So, they get to the hotel in the evening, and then we went out. We went to this Polish neighborhood that was all old homes and neighborhood pubs everywhere (Tremont?). We walked around bar hopping all night and wound up at this really weird bar called The Spotted Owl. In order to have a cocktail you pick a mood off of a circuclar chart and subcategory. (I picked Mood: Rejoice, because I wanted a Browns win on Sunday, foreshadowing HMMMMMMM) And then they make you a drink based on that, and you have no idea what they are making you because there's no ingredients or liquors listed. And the bartenders kinda put on a show and lots of weird ingredients, like stuff from medicine bottles with eyedroppers, dishes with dry ingredients and crazy stuff. Then they bring you your drink and tell you whats in it. (I had no idea what they were telling me other than it had gin and some kind crushed flowers essence or something and like 5 other ingredients. And only myself and my Bro's gf got a seat at the bar. My bro had to stand and then they refused to serve him a cocktail unless he was sitting. But offered him beer or shots instead. So, Ok. The reason for that is these were so extremely strong. (But tasted good) It was one and done lol. And the ambiance in there is quite weird like backlit religious stained glass on the wall, and kinda creepy entrance. Anyways, I told this story so if you want a weird bar experience, go there. http://www.spottedowlbar.com/Anyways, after that we went to a Veterans legion place and then ubered back to hotel and crashed. So then it was Sunday, and we got up and ubered near the Stadium and grabbed some breakfast and walked to the stadium. Only my dumb self forgot I'm not allowed to bring my purse in. Only clear bags. So we thought we would be all smooth and smuggle it in. Ha. We get through the long ass line to the metal dectectors and they were like NOPE. GO TO THE BAG CHECK TENT. So we had go back out, check my purse and come back in and go through that long ass line again. Why in the hell do they need that security so tight??? Atl does not have metal detectors and make you show everything on you and look through your ish. That was just ridiculous and I was getting mad. The TSA has nothing on Browns security. So then we get inside and our seats were in the top section, and no escalators so had to walk up that mountain of ramps. By now I was rather cranky. We found our seats. They were decent, around 35 yard line, good view of everything. We sat down and magical stuff started happening. It was the Browns second possession (we didn't see the first). And they marched right down that field like Atl's defense was made of paper. And scored that TD. Like it was nothing. I was like wow did that just happen? So then the next time that we got the ball, we did it again! Right down the field. And then the trickery happened. And I like ok, the is where it falls apart. But it didn't. Somehow we totally dominated Atl. Everybody did their job and we kept scoring. It didn't seem real. Who were these people in Browns jerseys? Do we get to keep them? It was like every type of cool football play you could possibly have we had. The crowd was so happy. I screamed myself hoarse. And we won! Not barely won, not squeaked by, not given to us by Refs, ....it was a legit in your face Atl win. So I got to have my curse broken and experience a win at Cleveland Browns Stadium. I was happy for the fans and the city and especially the players because they've been through a lot of changes and totally earned this victory. I think I smiled for 3 hours straight after that game. Then we walked over to the Flats for dinner. Then I flew back today and the plane was full of depressed Falcons fans. And lots of turbulence and the flight kinda sucked. I am tired, it hurts to talk, but I'm so happy. I hope this is a turning point for us. Ok. Back to your regularly scheduled football debates. <3

nice, Eve! I've only been to one game, and we won that to make the playoffs in 2002, against.... .... the Atlanta Falcons!
Thanks for sharing, post more thoughts as they come back to you.

I've been to a lot of away games and go to most home games. The Browns stadium is the worst by far to get into. It's ridiculous.
I've pretty much walked right into every other stadium - Heinz, Superdome, Nissan, Paul Brown, etc. All of them have metal detectors and still have no issue. I don't know why the Browns can't figure it out.
That said, I'm in the club level now so I can go in through the Lake Suites entrance so no line anymore which is nice.

Do you recall how when Atl was on the two yard line at the end of the game, the PA guy kept repeating “ So-a s-so has lost, and the Falcons are in the playoffs.” To surreptitosly ask them to not punch it in? And they ran four times into the middle of the line, and we won.

Yes , I do, they announced it several times, lol. But I think the Falcons didn't need to be reminded. Dwayne Rudd was huge in that goal line stop.

I know many have probably said it, but I have to say it again. The first TD throw to Higgins was ridiculous. It was an Aaron Rodgers level throw. Mayfield released the ball on about the 39 yard line. It was a perfectly placed rope while on the run. Incredible.

The third and long to Calloway backed up 8 yards deep in our endzone was truly special.

I was looking at last week, lol PEPSI ROOKIE OF THE WEEK NOMINEES Nick Chubb, Cleveland Browns The running back had 209 scrimmage yards and two touchdowns in the Browns' 28-16 win over the Atlanta Falcons. Baker Mayfield, Cleveland Browns The quarterback completed 17 of 20 passes for 216 yards and three touchdowns in the Browns' win over Atlanta. Anthony Miller, Chicago Bears The wide receiver had five catches for 122 yards and a touchdown in the Bears' 34-22 win over the Detroit Lions. Rashaad Penny, Seattle Seahawks The running back rushed for 108 yards on 12 attempts (9.0 average) and a touchdown in the Seahawks' 36-31 loss to the Los Angeles Rams. Leighton Vander Esch, Dallas Cowboys The linebacker had 13 tackles, one pass defensed and an interception in the Cowboys' 27-20 win over the Philadelphia Eagles.
