I think it's classier to simply say nothing about it in the press conference.

I'm not mad at Bake about it, believe me haha. When he threw the third TD pass, I fist-pumped, the wife laughed at me, and I said "I love baker mayfield!"

why? didn't we all feel the same way anyway? i completely side with baker on that, and support him saying it in public.

its one thing to get fired and find employment somewhere else. but going straight back to cincy? do whatever you want, but dont expect the players to ride with you anymore.

Mayfield and Randall are exactly how i wanted the players to respond, not just on the field but off.

I agree, Hue was there actively trying to help Cinci win, no need to hold back. I'm sure many of the players on this team were rubbed the wrong way by him signing there just before we play them.

Well I've already chewed my cabbage twice. Take it or leave it. *shrugs*

Aside: Hue was hired to be an assistant to the HC, did you think he'd be in the press box? Someone had to hold Marvin's red flag. wink

Congratulations to the Browns for breaking the road losing streak and winning two in a row. Started to worry a little when they stop passing and decided to run the ball. Cincy almost caught up.

Baker has nothing to apologize for. He didn't feel like being buddies with Hue and he only explained when asked. He's honest, he's a Brown and he is a badass quarterback!

Hue and Baker was certainly awkward

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

I just don't get it. It's like our coaches WANT to lose.

Did we even come close to losing? Must have been watching a different game than me.

Yes. Remember when the QB scrambled around and threw that pass down the to 1?

It was called back for illegal shift. Otherwsie it's a 1 score game with 2 minutes to go.

Should've just been a blowout.

Wow, after reading full quote, I like it.

What did he say?

"I didn't feel like talking. I mean he left Cleveland and goes down to Cincinnati. It was just somebody in our locker room asking us to play for him and then goes to a different team that we play twice a year. Everybody can have their spin on it but that's how I feel," Mayfield said. "There's no hate but it's a rivalry and that's just how I'm gonna treat it. That's how our team should treat it too."

He must be a racist.

Great road win.

Hard to believe we scored 28 points in a half.

Second half. I know everyone wants to push it. However they did the right thing. Run the ball. Eat up the clock.

The only negative for me is coverage teams. They need to correct that and now.

Baker doesn't look or play like a rookie at this point.

His comments after the game? I have no problem with.

It feels good to have someone who cares about winning. Could he have handled it differently? Yes.

But for me, right now, after this win, no big deal.

Cleveland Browns football is officially exciting to watch.
